Cal watches Maggie leave, and then turns back to the others. "Well, clearly we have to go see this house. There's something going on. Some reason besides the snow that they don't want us visitin'. Why should a little storm stop us?" She looks for agreement on the faces of her fellow travelers.
Anna gives her a nod, thankful, but also boiling with hatred for the woman. But hey, that’s how it works when you’ve got goblin blood, you either love em or ya hate em.
“Where should we head to next?”

Anna gives you a discreet nod, aware that there are still people around that might not want us to go to the house.

"The inn, probably. I don't know about you but I'm hungry, and tired, and could do with something stronger than water or tea to drink."
Looking around, here's a list of locations you can visit:
The Pine Nook, which is the inn Maggie recommended before, is a tall log cabin-looking inn, with a cozy glow coming from the inside of the building.
An old, Neapolitan-style-looking apartment building, complete with a cafe/bar on the first floor and laundry hanging out to dry from the windows on the floors above.
A lumber-mill factory, aptly titled "The House Warehouse." It looks like a lumber mill, but it's clearly a store fashioned out of an old lumber mill.
A squat red-brick house, with the flag of some country hanging about. Smoke is billowing out of the chimney. It smells good.
A pristine, new American prairie house. Its birch-wood siding feels very out of place in the middle of the piny woods.
In fact, everything but The Pine Nook looks out of place; it is a mountain town, after all, and there is a surprising lack of log houses and moose decor.
Where to first?

Cal makes her way to the Pine Nook with Anna. She kicks the snow off her boots, before stepping through the door and making her way over to the nearest staff member.
Shank gazes around the town, considering his options. "I'll meet you two at the Inn, I'm gonna check out the store real quick." And he heads off to The House Warehouse.

...and started me on my way into my next chapter in life...
The second Cal opens the door, they're hit with a wave of warmth; the kind of warmth that a fire provides on a cold winter night. Which makes sense, considering that's exactly what it is; there's a huge, crackling fireplace in the center of the rightmost wall, and small bunches of tables and log chairs and stools all facing the fire in concentric semi-circles. On the opposite wall are a pair of satyrs busy at work behind two counters. One counter looks like a bar, and the other is the reception desk, where people check in to the inn.

She shoulders her pack and walks over to the reception desk. Still keeping her gruff appearance up, she says "I'd like a room. Please. Preferably one with windows, and I don't mind if there's a draught."
Shank gazes around the town, considering his options. "I'll meet you two at the Inn, I'm gonna check out the store real quick." And he heads off to The House Warehouse.
As Shank walks into The House Warehouse, a big yellow sign greets him. "The House Warehouse: How Homebuilders Build More Homes." It looks like they have everything here; houseplants and gardening equipment (though the outside is closed for the season), lumber, power tools and regular tools, paints, etc. An old half-elf seems to be the only worker here.

Anna is exploring the Inn, going around the tables like a lost child. She secretly steals food of peoples plates, inspects lots of different objects, and marvels at just about everything. Then she sees Cal go to buy a room and starts panicking at the fact that she has zero money.

The satyr working the reception desk gives you a bright smile as you approach. A nametag pinned to the breast of his lumberjack-looking flannel reads 'Peotyr.' "Welcome to The Pine Nook! Will it be just you in this room? Or would you like a joint room with the rest of your group?" He points back to Anna and whoever tagged along with Cal to the inn.

Yes, because I don't want you having any fun. Fun isn't allowed here /j
You're able to successfully steal a whole turkey leg, half of an eaten sandwich (there's enough to eat around the part the other person ate from), and a steaming, untouched mug of hot chocolate.

Anna doesn’t think much of things looking out of place, she’s not used to anything like that, having grown up very rurally. She wouldn’t really know.
”Yeah, the Inn looks like a good place to start. Let’s go there.” She begins to walk towards it, opening the door when she arrives.
