Finally deciding their roles, Alexander would lead, followed by Lithiana, Wolf Blade in the middle, and Eniallis covering the back; The party decided to follow the trail previously descovered by their Paladin.
So far, everything seemed to go as planned. No goblin ambushes, no aggressive animals, and no dangerous flora.
But one can never be too safe, can they?
Most of the party members seemed to have their senses in check. Alexander, however, got distracted for a mere second, enough time to touch a Snare trap.
Alexander: Roll saving throw for Dexterity, please.
Alexander seeing a shadow off in the distance is momentarily taken into an old memory, one of darkness, one of the hooded figure who has haunted his nightmares for almost the past 10 years. In this momentary distraction he does not see the snare trap in time. Can he avoid it in time?

Alexander: Unable to react in time, the trap catches you and you're now suspended upside down 10 feet above the ground.
Alexander has been snared by the trap
Your teammates will have to get you down from there with a slashing attack to the snare's cord. Tell them to be careful though, falling 10 feet straight to the ground sounds like it might hurt. Maybe just a litte, but it sure will.
"Well, great. Hang on, I'll get you a rope up there, so you can descent without breaking your legs." Eniallis isn't amused with the newest developments. He takes a rope out of his backpack, ties it to an arrow and shoots it with his hand crossbow into the branch above Alexander, so Alexander can reach it. "That should help. Now how do we cut you loose?"
Feeling a little vertigo frost being upside down Alexander bec a little disoriented. Finally getting his bearings he calls down to his traveling companions.
" A little help please, I've seem to have gotten myself into quite the mess. I would advise you to be careful because falling head first on to the ground does not sound appealing. "

Alexander seeing the rope he reaches out for it and grabs it, hoping that it will hold his weight.
"I believe that I can, now we only need to cut the rope snared around my foot. I could try to reach up and use my dagger but I'll have to use one hand to cut the rope while still holding on to the other rope with the other hand. Anybody have any other ideas before I try it?"

Alexander: The mere thought of possibly breaking your face if you were to fall from such height, gives you enough adrenaline to your body to pull the stunt of grabbing Eniallis' rope, as well as cutting the one holding you.
A short snap is heard, you hold for dear life onto the other rope.
Managing to safety get down, Alexander let's out a sigh of relief. He hopes that nothing like that happens again but knows that in a world like this it most definitely will. He looks up at where the rope that Eniallis' rope is and gives it a strong tug, trying to retrieve it.
"Someone help me pull on this, it's really in there."
With help he pulls again.

Liathana stood back and watched the mage help the paladin down. She felt a bit sheepish as she saw the trap but wasn't able to warn the paladin in time. She blessed the stars it wasn't something worse like a poison pit trap.
She examined the workmanship of the trap, curious to know if it is goblin or something else. (Investigation: 11)
After she feels content with whatever, or lack of, knowledge she gleamed, she whistled. "Gentlemen, let's be a tad more careful. Hopefully the end of the trail isn't too far off."
