Without moving, Dev Messages Normont. "A landing with 3 doors. Should we be in here? The cat's magical slumber is probably almost over. We kind of came in on a whim that seemed like a good idea at the time, but maybe this has nothing to do with Glinnick. And we don't know that we're alone." Normont can respond to him noiselessly.
The teen tiefling moves to the closest door and listens for sounds on the other side. (Perception: 3+2=5)
Dev returns to his companions. “A landing with three doors,” he whispers. “I heard soft snoring behind one of them. This is starting to feel creepy. And like, I’m the creep. Should we go?”
"How long will the fox stay asleep?" Lokilia asks Dev in a quiet voice. "As for the search here, do we think this place even connects to Glinnick's. If it doesn't maybe you're right Dev."
Normont had been pondering Dev's whispered question a little too long and is unable to reply directly. When Dev repeats it having returned down the stairs, he is ready to reply though.
"This may not be related to Glinnick's and the Faceless Ones, but something is not right here. I feel it is my duty to investigate. We haven't found a way into this building from outside have we? Other than the secret entrance. There must be one. And does the occupant know about the table? Are they responsible for what happened to the poor soul who now is the table? I don't believe we can just leave that person to his fate without doing at least a little more to try and help", he whispers.
"Perhaps it is enough for now to find the outside door and figure out where we are. That way, we can research who lives here, and who lived here. And perhaps return in a less creepy manner to investigate further. What do you all think? Lokilia, how long will we remain under the cover of your stealth field".
