(DM - I had assumed Lokilia as a Dire Wolf, which is a large creature, would take up the space left by Dev, blocking the advance of the Doppelgänger. That might not have been Lokilia’s intention though. Will wait to see the result of the prone before posting)

With so many enemies arrayed against Lokilia, Maggie and Werhann, Normont spins and fires at the Doppelgänger, knowing that this fight could easily be fatal to another one of his companions. He can't let them be overwhelmed.

He also knows they need Maggie up, so he then instructs her to once again repair herself, after she took a big hit from the first Duergar.
