Blood convert is moving towards the stairs and approaching Maynard
[[OOC: At the start of round 2, this blood convert has not made it to the landing yet? I'm just checking whether Vrox's and Brother Maynard's ranged attacks will be at disadvantage because this opponent is within 5 ft of them.]]
No, not yet, he had to weave through the fighting plus the concussion of the blasts
[[OOC: after his turn in round 1, Vrox was presumably hidden from the enemies Hide - Stealth37 (using Vanish feature, advantage from Shadowfell Brand Tattoo) ]]
Vrox's Shadowfell Brand Tattoo pulled the shadows around him, hiding him in inky blackness of the alcove. He suddenly steps out onto the platform again and swiftly nocks an arrow to his longbow. Seeing the blood convert heading up the stairs, he [Tooltip Not Found] and fires one arrow at the blood convert, attempting to prevent him from approaching any closer.
Assuming that Aya's Guiding Bolt hit the Blood Demon, Vrox cannot resist the glittering target and fires his second arrow at the demon. He remains standing on the platform in front of Maynard, Lord Akkron, and Aya in case the blood convert breaks free.
Movement: 10' of movement to step out onto the platform and position himself in front of Brother Maynard Bonus Action: Cast spell (LVL 1 slot) Ensnaring Strike Action: Two attacks with Dragon's Wrath Longbow (150/600) Advantage on the first attack (against the blood convert) because Vrox was hidden at the start of his turn. Advantage on the second attack (against the demon) because of Aya's Guiding Bolt. Attack 1 vs. the blood convert who's heading toward Maynard: 22 Damage: 10 (magical piercing) + 13 (radiant) + 5 (psychic) = 28 (total) If this attack hits, the blood convert must make a DC 19 STR saving throw or become restrained by thorny vines. The will take an additional 6 (magical piercing) damage at the start of his next turn from the vines. Attack 2 vs the blood demon: 33 Damage: 14 (magical piercing) + 14 (radiant) + 2 (psychic) = 30 (total)

Tyek's rage and endurance and the Blood Fury Tattoo prevent him from taking any damage from the demon's first two attacks. He lets out a wicked laugh and says, "You'll need to do better than that, puny demon." Continuing to ignore his own defense, he attacks recklessly, swinging Annam's Greataxe as though he's trying to chop the demon in half.
Movement: None. Remain in melee with the demon. Action: Two Reckless Attacks with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Attack 1 vs. demon: 35, Damage: 28 (magical thunder) + 13 (force) = 41 (total) Attack 2 vs. demon: 30, Damage: 19 (magical thunder) + 14 (force) = 33 (total) Bonus Action: if either of those attacks was a critical hit or reduced a demon to 0 HP, he makes one extra attack, which I'll post in a follow-up. If neither attack was a critical hit, Tyek uses Mighty Impel to move one of the duke's guards (probably the one farthest to the north, nearest Tyek) to the NW corner of the room, taking him out of the fight for this round. The guard must succeed on a DC 22 STR saving throw to avoid the effect. Free Action: Taunting the demon.
Reaction: The first time that Tyek takes > 10 HP of damage from an attack this round, he'll use his Stone's Endurance to reduce the damage from that attack by 7.
Your strikes continue to carve great chunks from the demon, like a Thanksgiving Turkey (sorry, had to do it), it howls at the pain and the taunting. It replies back with a snarl, "You will not stop us and the Blood God!"
Clarac, still a shining beacon of justice, swings back at the duke's guards.
OOC:
Action: Attack Guard 3 (alternatively Guard 4) Attack: 33 Damage: 13 (Magical Slashing) + 5 (Radiant) + 11 (Radiant) = 29 Extra Attack: 19 Damage: 20 (Magical Slashing) + 4 (Radiant) + 9 (Radiant) = 33 Bonus Action: Direct Unseen Servant to stay away from the fight Ongoing Effect: Holy Nimbus (round 2 of 10) --> 10 radiant damage to all enemies who start their turn in the sunlight within 30 ft. of Clarac

Your radiant damage is having a telling effect. Your attacks strike true, severely wounding the guard.
The lich sighs as he realizes he's about to use his final high-level spell slot... but this needs to end.
With his 7th-level spell slot, he casts summon undead, calling forth the ghostly apparition of a young girl. He'll have the ghost appear behind the Duke and attack him three times...
Deathly Touch vs. Duke Attack: 30 Damage: 19 (necrotic) Attack: 25 Damage: 22 (necrotic) Attack: 38 Damage: 28 (necrotic)
If any of the attacks hit, the Duke must make a DC 24 Wis save or be frightened of the spirit.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

With a shocked and surprised look on his face, as he falls to his knees, he mumbles, "No, this can't be. They said I would live forever; I would be King of the World. They promised..." He rolls over and dies on the floor.
"I'm afraid that you have been misinformed," Akkron says to the dying duke. "The only reward for following these would-be gods is death. Chaos and destruction are all that motivate them... their promises mean nothing."

Since the Demon, despite Tyekanik's efforts, has not yet been eliminated, Khessa runs to the side of the Hungry Giant (always followed like a shadow by the faithful Alfred): "Hey, are you taking it easy, my friend?" she winks "Stop playing with it like a cat with a mouse and kill it! We have things to do".
After which, to set a good example, the blonde arcane warrior unleashes a flurry of thrusts from her Death Lance against the fiend at an impressive speed, while the spirits of the victims continue to swirl around her and enhance her blows...
Clarac blocks blow after blow from the remaining two guards. One strike slips past her shield. "Your lord has fallen! Surrender now or perish!" she shouts. Assuming the guards do not drop their weapons immediately, Clarac swings her holy sword again.

The demon slumps to his knees, his black blood spilling onto the floor. "You will not win, you can't stop the host of the Blood God, this world will be ours." Then it collapses onto the floor dead.

Yes, that blood convert is dead
The demon slumps to his knees, his black blood spilling onto the floor. "You will not win, you can't stop the host of the Blood God, this world will be ours." Then it collapses onto the floor dead.
