You go down steps for a short while until you arrive in a room with no lights on at all, no torches or lanterns. Just an inky darkness
[[@Aaggie - Separate question. Both Vrox and Tyekanik have Darkvision. Can they see into the darkness as though it's [Tooltip Not Found], or is this magical darkness that also blocks Darkvision?]]
Normal darkness for being underground and no light sources
Tyekanik - Initiative: 19 (advantage from Feral Instinct)
As you were looking and could not be surprised in the dark, from the hallway in the southwest corner, armored figures are approaching at a rush towards you.
Khessa takes a quick step toward the incoming undead and unsheaths Wave of Sorrow, swinging one blow after another.
'This way,' the blonde arcane warrior thinks 'Tyekanic, Clarac, and anyone else who wants to fight in melee can line up alongside me, and we'll form a line to protect the others.'
The trusty Alfred stays behind the tall adventuress to help protect her.
[[ OOC: Movement: a step southwest (or down-left, anyway). Action: Multiattack with Wave of Sorrow. Thanks to her Statuette, she is protected by Protection from Evil and Good so the undead will have Disadvantage in their potential attacks against her. ]]
"Piteous creatures,"he says, his voice carrying its ever-present hint of sorrow. "Trapped in walking death, wracked by hatred for the living, and without even the mercy of oblivion shared by lesser undead. It is not but mercy to end their existence."
He raises his hand and casts summon aberration, which shoots two beams of psychic energy at the nearest Wight that remains standing after Khessa's assault.
Tyek can see the soldiers approaching in the dark, whatever they are. "More demon-followers!", he growls as he strides forward, raging. He only grows to Large-size because of the relatively confined space here.
Movement: Move west to meet the new opponents, finding a 10-ft x 10-ft space in the west half of the room between Khessa, Clarac, and Alfred. Bonus Action: rage, imbuing Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver with thunder damage Action: Two Reckless Attacks with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Target: the nearest opponent he can reach, but note that he has a 15-ft reach while raging. Attack 1: 31, Damage: 32 (magical thunder) + 20 (force) = 52 (total) Attack 2: 35, Damage: 24 (magical thunder) + 20 (force) = 44 (total)
Because of Reckless Attack, all attacks against Tyek have advantage until the start of his next turn. But if these opponents are undead, they should be protected by Prot. from Evil from Khessa's idol since he's within 30-ft of her. Therefore, it should still be a straight attack roll this round. (Disadvantage from Khessa's sacred idol cancels out Advantage on attacks because from Tyek's use of Reckless Attack.)
[[OOC: Does Khessa or anyone else carry a light? Or -- I don't remember -- does her Wave of Sorrow sword shed light? I know that Lord Akkron has Truesight, Vroxand Tyekboth have Darkvision, and Clarachas Blindsight. But I thought that Khessaneeded light to fight, right?]]

Yes, Khessa needs light—and can cast Light if that's enough. If the darkness of the room isn't illuminated by that light, then she'll have to fight with Disadvantage, relying on Anator (who has Blindsight and can give her quick directions telepathically) to attack the right square.

Khessa's Multiattack with Wave of Sorrow:
1st Attack: 32 Damage: 30 (magical slashing) + 12 (acid) = 42
2nd Attack: 30 Damage: 27 (magical slashing) + 21 (acid) = 48
3rd Attack: 25 Damage: 29 (magical slashing) + 10 (acid) = 39
Lord Akkron considers the approaching undead...
"Piteous creatures," he says, his voice carrying its ever-present hint of sorrow. "Trapped in walking death, wracked by hatred for the living, and without even the mercy of oblivion shared by lesser undead. It is not but mercy to end their existence."
