(All students would have a basic map of the campus, and if not, there are plenty of faculty and staff around that would be happy to help point you in the right direction. Also, anyone may make an Investigation check on the clues for help if they wish.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Wow...yes I would like to join your team," Darby declares confidently. "I think the final clue could be Strixhaven Stadium but I'm open to other opinions, " the dwarf adds smiling at their new companions!
Katar and Darby you're pretty sure the first clue refers to where you are as well, but with the actual snarl up in the air, perhaps there is a place much easier to reach?
"Team would mean I don't have to do it all myself so sure, why not?" Fianna says with a grin. "This first one... Could it just be stepping to the center there?"
(Investigation 17)
Even while she is saying it she is looking around at what the other students are doing and hoping to gleam some clues off of where they are going or doing. She is not above cheating or copying off others...
With a shrug Fianna decides to go into the pool... She'll walk in if it is that shallow, dive in if it's an actual pool pool. Surely it wouldn't be the stupidest thing she does, might as well get people talking early...
It's an elevated pool, like a bird bath. As soon as Fianna touches the water though she feels herself suddenly drawn through a vortex of magic, losing herself for a moment! But she is suddenly pushed back a foot or two and is now holding a potion of healing in her hand!
"That is amazing," Darby exclaims looking at Fianna. "How do you think it works, " the curious dwarf walks up to Fianna and looks at the potion. "I wonder...." the dwarf then says rubbing their chin.
Darby then reaches into the curious snarl of energy hoping to be as successful as Fianna!

"It seems it is one reward per clue per team. Five clues, five members per team. Elegant. We each get one reward for our success. Let us explore. There is much to see and perhaps we will find one of the other clues on the way." She will then lead them all towards a new section of the Biblioplex.. She heads to the left side looking for things of interest. Perhaps keeping eye out for various clubs and such as she has a couple in mind.
Clue 1. You’ll forget all about any trouble or plight when you step forward and are ensnarled in light.
Clue 2. Alumni commission works when they retire, seeking promising mages to inspire.
Clue 3. Each group deserves a free treat for their investment. Serve up this list and enjoy your refreshment.
Clue 4. These leafy beds aren’t always what they seem. Give them a pat and see what you glean.
Clue 5. Some stars are ancient, enduring, and bright. But others—maybe you!—are born on opening night.
Aard'len nods and send his thought out to Fianna "Bravely done, walking round the place wet would have been a poor reward!" before speaking to everyone in his cracked voice, "So, alumni paintings, a free treat, the leafy beds, then finally the stadium..." He takes a moment to try and plan a route between those locations if he has a map that show them. Then a moment of inspiration hits him. "One moment..." His thoughts enter Fianna's head as he walks over to Kota.
Waiting for a break between her greetings, he again sends this thoughts to her. "Excuse me librarian Kota, I was wondering if you could assist us. Whilst I appreciate the intention of these tasks is to test new students, surely the most efficient way to find an answer is to use a reference resource that contains the information you lack yourself. In this case, I am hoping that is you... Could you possibly tell us where to go for each of these clues? No-one else will hear them, so it isn't like you are telling all of the students, just the team with the ingenuity to ask." He expects her to say no, but he knows his request is fundamentally sound, and little harm is done by asking a question.
Persuasion8 (Two fives so far... I'm hopefully saving all the good rolls.)
<<Assuming she doesn't simply give the answers>> He follows up on her response "Perhaps then, you could tell us the best route to get between these places..." He describes their current guesses at the current clues - a gallery of alumni or an assembly hall, the Firejolt Cafe or Bow's End, the gardens, and the stadium - before thanking Kota for any information she is able to provide.
He returns to his team and as he walks alongside the tall centaur who has taken the lead, he shares what he has learned in as few words as possible, suggesting that, "...so if we start by heading towards the Firejolt, we might overhear clues from other students."
She heads to the left side looking for things of interest. Perhaps keeping eye out for various clubs and such as she has a couple in mind.
Make a perception check!
Kota stands up straight after a couple of diminuitive gnomes pass by her poking and prodding each other in a clearly playful manner. The elegant librarian turns to Aard'len and speaks out loud, "I'm afraid I am not a part of this year's orientation challenge and can offer no help, other than to say the challenge usually doesn't take students too far away from the Biblioplex here. Don't want our newcomers getting lost on a campus somewhere. And the best route is the one you start taking now. Excuse me, and good luck."She smiled again and turned to meet a rather slimey looking creature with three eyes.
As you leave the Hall of Oracles, there are dozens of different students and faculty about. Keibel can spot an elf in Witherbloom colors tending to a small garden nearby where an awakened shrub as just arrived and is getting settled, there are a couple of air genasi in Prismari colors making colorful sparkling displays of dragons and such in the air, a small group in Lorehold colors are gathered around a game of Dragonchess and vigorously debating something. A kobold in Quandrix colors walks by carrying a stack of thick tomes that threaten to topple over at any moment and a couple of faculty in Silverquill colors are quietly looking over some papers and exchanging notes between them.
In the northwest corner you can see a room marked by a sign: "Student and Alumni Art Gallery".
“Let’s wait and see what all prizes we get, maybe we can play swapsies later,” Fianna says smiling over her potion and tucking it securely in her gear.
She does a bit of a double take about all the voices in her head but mostly just shrugs it off. “Better just be talking and not poking around in there,” she does jokingly warn… jokingly.
“Is there a portrait gallery or hall?” Fianba asks as she studies the map. “Or is that statues in the middle of the 3rd floor labyrinth?”
“Kind of looks like the northeast corner room could be a snack bar… Leafy beds would be gardens outside maybe?”
(Assuming Kiebel heads towards the gallery and / or shares their spot with everyone) Aard'len walks alongside the centaur as they change course, and Aard'len sees the sign ahead. "It looks like Kiebel has found the gallery, Fianna. I guess we go look at some art." He coughs a lot, trying to clear his throat before taking a few small swigs from his waterskin. As he does, he answer's Fianna's earlier question, his thoughts again sound in her mind "Sorry, talking can be uncomfortable sometimes. I'll knock first next time."

Fianna is also pretty certain they're in the right spot for the first clue, and notices the snarl is elevated above a blue pool underneath.

Darby reaches into the water!...but only gets a bit wet. It seems the first clue has already been solved.

OOC: Sorry about the late post, I had to attend to some irl stuff.
Katar seems to be distracted by the various students and magical features of the Biblioplex, and has trouble focusing on anything in particular.
