"Owies," the girl says. "Trick? A gift from my father." She seems to pout a bit about being held again. She looks to the zombie. "Help?"

Unsure of how to 'help', the zombie merely attacks Luthok, but completely missed!

Luthok turns his attention over to the terrifying example of a rebellious teenager and whacks her across the head with his staff. Ignoring the dangers of the undead behind him. Spores fly through the air once again and pushes their way into her lungs. "We can do this lads, prove you're not complete amateurs"


Action: Attack the girl with Shillelagh buffed staff Attack roll: 10 DMG: 3 + 4 poison damage (From Symbiotic Entity)
Reaction: Deal 6 poison damage to the girl (Halo of Spores)

The whack from Luthok's staff does little to the girl, but she blinks in response. "I'm a lass."

The spores fly into her face, and she coughs as a few land into her mouth. Even she has her limits!

The zombie puts one and one together and realizes that only Luthok is close enough to reach with ease, and so it does! It slams it's body into Luthok and grumbles.

(Luthok, attack: 13, damage: 3. Don't know if that hits you.)

You all hear a voice chime into your minds. It's the voice of the woman who seems like she may have been in charge of this shrine at some point in the past. She calls out, "Champions, I don't have much strength left, but let me try and aid you!"

The torches in the room become brighter, and you all feel warmth spreading from within your being.

"Please, hold on a little longer. I see something."

(Everyone is healed for 7)

Merrick's wound closes up, enough to seal away the bone. The gash is still nasty, but the halfling has use of his arm at least. "Hey! Now that really hurt! Really really! En garde to YOU!"

Merrick runs past the woman in a strafing run, his rapier out. He slides under Dyoken's legs again, turning aside and then hiding behind the big man.

Movement: Move to the lass, attack, then move out of range to behind Dyoken

Muireach’s chest wound closes slightly, enough to halt the bleeding. However, he locks eyes with the murder child, “Child of Grimmore, you stand in a sea of mindless undead and weak-willed lackeys. You alone are a worthy foe for the once and future Lord of Heroes.” Muireach extends his blade and rushes toward the girl as his blade ignites in gold flame (Green-Flame Blade), Attack: 23 Damage: 18 magic slashing damage. If the zombie is within 5 feet, 4 fire damage to it.

The not-so-precious murder child is slashed by the fantastic duo of Merrick and Muireach. You see a gash open up near her waist, and though she doesn't gasp or make a sound, she winces and seems to be in pain. 

Like before, she poofs away, but she reappears on the other side of the darkness in the center of the room (even if darkness is gone, she will reappear on the backend of the raised, black platform). "Stop touching me." She raises a finger at Dyoken and from it shoots a black beam. (Attack: 12, don't think it hits.)

Unsatisfied, the girl slashes in Dyoken's direction and a green crescent moon shoots out from the scythe's edge. (Attack: 18, damage: 4 force)

"Still Slippery... Have it your way." Dyoken steps forward and Recklessly stabs with a dagger (or dart), and drives the point of his sword, entirely too forcefully for such a delicate weapon, right through the girl.

Dagger: 24 for 9 piercing

Sword: 13 for 5 piercing

'Sneak': 6

 "Lass, I have said it before but i say it again. RESPECT. YOUR. ELDERS!" While speaking another cloud of spores fly through the air towards the zombie. Luthok flings another dirty ice shard towards the girl, aiming for one of her legs as soon as he finishes his sentence and the word "elders" echo throughout the stone room. 

Action: Cast Ice Knife Attack: 18 DMG: 1 pirece + 6 cold (Cold damage applies whether the attack hits or misses)

Reaction: Deal 6 poison damage to the zombie

Dyoken's dagger goes right into the girl and a look of shock overcomes her usually "meh" expression. His follow-up sword clashes against an energy of some kind, and seems to deal no damage. Luthok's ice knife flies and the cold from the attack seems to completely chill the girl as her last zombie falls to the ground. She asks, "H-Help?" as she looks at Dyoken.

However, her eyes shine a green light and she says, "Can't fail. No." Green crescents form all around her, then swing crazily, slashing all who were near her. (Dex save for Dyoken for sure.)

"Champions, thank you for holding on. Now observe the truth!" The torches in the room burst to flames that flood the room with light. The darkness made by Muireach dissapates unable to contest the light. Finally, you all notice a shadowy collar appear around the girl's neck, which has four chains coming from it held by shadowy figures.

"Hey, look at that! She's got some kind of collar around her guys!" points out Merrick excitedly. "If we can disable her, maybe I can get that thing off."

Merrick slips in with fancy footwork, and attacks with girl with the flat of his blade, going for her the back of her head to knock her out, before hiding behind Dyoken.

Attack (nonlethal): 19 Damage: 19
Stealth: 10

Dyoken attempts to dodge the green blades (Dex save: 8 Perception: 21) "yes, the chains and... Something else." 

Dyoken is hit by the girl's crescent moons and is cut up by them. (Damage 6)

Dyoken notices that the torches are gone and now there are only balls of flames where they once were. He also noticed that there is one spot in the room in particular that is glowing brightly. The source of this light is coming from a lantern that is being held by the broken statue's hand and arm in the lower, right corner of the room. 

The girl is hit by Merrick's swing and stumbles for a moment before standing. She looks to have been completely unaffected as Merrick tries hard not to murder her. Her green eyes flare as she attempts to look for him.

Luthok stops for a second when he notices the chain and collar. As he notices the figures he looks to the rest. "So we aren't killing her, now?!?" He snaps and creates a familiar skeletal hand by the closest shadowy figure. 

Action: Cast Chill Touch Attack: 8  DMG: 6 

If it doesn't seem to hit anything he will shrug. "Looked undead enough to me.."


New attempt at attack: 18 DMG: 1 (Didn't work first time, or with refreshing for me)

"What's up with the lights?" DK asks, watching the girl, but gesturing toward the lantern.

Muireach, for reasons known only to him, will attack one of the shadows, instead of the child. Attack: 19 Damage: 17 magic slashing damage.

Muireach's Calibog rends the shadow asunder and it wails pitifully as it passes into nothingness. The girl looks up to Muireach with pleading eyes and a frown.

Before she was talkative, but now her tongue seems tied. She slashes toward Muireach frantically, but from the way her arms throw toward him, it seems that she is moving againgst her will. Her attack barely connects with him, leaving a fine cut onto his cheek.

(Attack: 17, damage: 6)

The skeletal hand from Luthok's spell seems to tickle the shadow spirit, acting against Luthok's will apparently before vanishing. Oddly enough, the shadow laughed. It seems despite its form that it is corporeal.

Muireach brings Calibolg up this time, preventing the scythe from carving through him, but still looks like he took damage. (That hits. Down to 5.)
