Luthok follows the cocky human out of the cave, bringing the magical lantern with him as he goes. "Don know about you younglings, but these old bones need some rest. I am heading back to town right now. No lollygagging." Luthok pats Toadstool on her head and gives her a scratch behind the broken ear. "Didn`t run off on me this time either I see. I`m starting to take a liking to ya Toadstool." He uses two whole minutes to crawl his way up on the donkeys back and waits for the rest. Although showing clear signs of impatience and lets out a over exaggerated grunt or a yawn every now and then. 

Muireach will climb atop Mordred and help the unconscious girl stay on. “Well. This was interesting. We stopped a cult, saved a goddess, and found a child with a propensity for lethal farming tools. I deem this a win for us. However, I agree with Luthok, let’s be off.”

Dyoken returns to Apothecary Yennan, who's supposed to be laying low.

Merrick whistles for Applejack, and nimbly hops on her back. "Hideelli ho! Back to town we go!" Merrick happily hums a halfling tune on the way back.

Apothecary Yennan is indeed laying low. He seems to have crawled to a nearby bush and fallen asleep with his boots comedically showing where you last left him.

Looking from him to the kidnapped girl, you see a resemblance. And not just how they both sleep with their mouths open!

Dyoken nudges the man's boot. "Hey Yennan, you gonna make it?" 

He jolts up from his sleeping position and points a stick at you, "I'm armed!" Then he sees it's his saviors and drops the stick aside. "Apologies! Did... Did you find my girl?" He spies that she is atop Dyoken's horse and lets out a deep sigh, "Oh, thank goodness. I hope you are all alright? Let's get back to the Crossing. I'll be able to better treat your wounds there. And, of course, reward you."

Dyoken looks at the gash on his arm. "What, this? It's nothing. They hardly touched us." He offers a hand to bring the man to his feet, and walks with him back to town leading Rocinante along behind them.

Muireach looks at Dyoken and then gestures to his own open stomach wound and looks to Yennan, “I will happily take Dyoken’s share of the medicine.”

Before closing in on Yennan, Luthok puts on his mask again. "So you survived? Good for you, now lets head back to town." Luthok has been silent for the entire trip to Yennan and will not say a word until they are well within the city walls. 

The journey back home is largely uneventful. You see Apothecary Yennan checking on his daughter now and again, but otherwise he is fairly quiet himself. Particularly given that he almost died.

Once you make it back to Shepherd's Crossing, you make it through Gate Ria without much hassle from the guards stationed at the gate. You make it back to the Honest Herb, which is where you find Lorna testing the strength of the door she seems to have just repaired. When she notices you with her daughter and husband, she rushes over. The Yennans share a deep hug, with Apothecary Yennan groaning a bit from the initial impact, and invite you in to be healed.

If you enter the Honest Herb, you find that Lorna Yennan has managed to clean the place up in the few hours you've been gone. The door has been repaired, and most of the mess is tidied up. The family brings you past the shop-portion of the Honest Herb, and upstairs where you find a small apartment where the family lives. After they take their daughter, who is still passed out from the trauma, and put her to bed, Lorna will inquire about the other girl, "Who is she?" They will allow her to sit and rest on a chair in their small parlor. She, too, seems to still be down.

They offer you a seat at a table. While Apothecary Yennan treats your wounds using mundane techniques (anyone accepting this is healed for 6 once you go to bed and wake up in the morning). As he applies ointments and bandages to you, his wife Lorna will serve anyone who is willing some tea. Regardless if any of you drink it, she serves her husband warm tea. It's blend of spices and herbs seems to calm your nerves just from the smell. 

"We ought to pay you fine gentlemen," Apothecary Yennan smiles once he finishes patching the last of you up. He disappears and reappears with a small, but hefty bag. "It's not much, but I hope it's of use to you. Of course, you are also always welcome to come to me for services and shopping... though I may still charge you. At a discount!

In the bag are 52 gold coins.

Dyoken waits til the others have had their wounds tended as he drinks Lorna's tea. He let's the apothecary look over his few small injuries once He's finished with the others. "I don't think we've seen the end of this 'Cult of Grimer'... Maybe these girls will have some more information when they come to." 

Luthok pushes the apothecary off him as he tries to heal his wounds. "Piss off. This body doesn't heal by regular means." When Mrs. Yennan hands him the tea he looks at it with skepticism before he lifts his mask. He proceeds to mutter some incoherent words in dwarvish as he turns away from the family and continues drinking his tea. "Whatever this cult thing is they better stay away from me. I'm getting to old for this."  He says facing the wall so the family won't have to look at his face.

Muireach sips his own tea with thanks, “Yes, because if I’ve been particularly scorned by an old dwarf that I underestimated, I’ll definitely choose to leave him alone. Dyoken is right, they’ll be coming after us, and they’ll likely be after you first, Luthok.”

"I believe you mean, 'Grimmore,' friend," It may have happened a few hours ago, but Lorna seems like the sort of woman who never forgets anything negative. The half-elven woman smiles at Dyoken, though it is a small smile. Concern still lines her face as she asks the group, "Do you know what they wanted with the girls? I don't recognize her. Not any friend of Petunia, anyhow." Lorna gestures to the murder child you brought with you. Petunia, it seems, is the name of the girl you rescued.

"Do you imagine they might leave us out of it? Our poor Petunia, I can't imagine what she's been through."

“Yes, I’m sure. For whatever reason, they don’t strike me as ones to attempt the same failed strategy twice. I would assume that they would want to clear us out, and then return to capturing children. However, that won’t happen.”

"So you're saying that there is a chance they're pissed at me knife-ear? HAH good on 'em they can try." Luthok looks to the unconcoius murder child. "Don't know 'bout that one, but i might get some info if i talk to her alone when she wakes up."
