Luthok, in his spider form, tries to wiggle free from roots, but cant seem to get all of his legs out. Frustrated he watches as the warlock runs away.

Action: New Saving throw 7

Dyoken manages to wrangle Merrick free and throws Merrick through the air! Merrick is now adjacent to Seven.

Luthok wriggles in place as he attempts to escape the vines that bind his eight legs to the ground, oh no!

(holding Muireach and Vivi's turn until Merrick posts)

Merrick lands behind Seven, and taps her on the shoulder. The halfling smiles. "You may have temporarily flustered my companions, but we are not so easily escaped! We've got a Spider-man, a elf with Vision, and a Hulk of a man. You can call us the Avengers!"

With rakish audacity, Merrick attacks with his rapier! He slashes, dashes, and cuts nimbly and well, using his quick fingers and halfling reflexes to bring his blade to its target, like water running downhill. At the last minute, Merrick turns his blade to avoid vital organs, choosing to deal nonlethal damage to what would otherwise be a mortal wound.

Merrick successfully sticks Seven with his rapier as Muireach parkours his way over. The vines and plants all wither down into the dirt while any that came from pots recede back to their origin. Vivi runs over but stands only close enough to reach Seven with her scythe. She seems to be ready to attack if Seven tries to pull anything funny.

"Hah, having a laugh at me are you?" Seven grits her teeth as her face shifts into a bitter expression. She clutches at the gash made by Merrick most recently. It seems that Seven still has enough vitality to carry on. "You won't take me down, not until I kill this brat!"

Two attacks aimed at Vivi. (Attack 1: 10 Damage: 13 Attack 2: 8  Damage: 5)

(Seven has taken 102, and she looks very very beat up)

Dyoken struggles against the vines as he reaches to pull Luthok free, but suddenly the plants wither away.

Instead he turns to the girl.  "Alright then." He rolls up his sleeves as he moves toward her, and Recklessly cuffs her on top of the head, as he picks her up under one arm.

He hits AC 21 for 7 blunt damage, and grapples against 27. (Crit: 2)

"What a mess. Should we take her to the Guards... Speaking of. Should we haul her along while we make sure the rest of her army has stopped?" 

Luthok skitters over towards Seven and lunges at her with his fangs while releasing a puff of spores into her face.

Movement: Get up close to Seven
Reaction: Halo of spores 3 poison dmg
Action: Attack in wolf spider form: 15 Pierce DMG2 Poison DMG: 9 DC 11 con save to halve damage taken. If she is knocked unconcious by the poison she is paralyed for 1 hour. (See [monster]Giant Wolf Spider[/monster bite attack) 

With Dyoken and Luthok's attacks, Seven falls unconscious and is paralyzed for an hour. It would seem combat is over for now.

The bird bards seem to run past you all and end down to where zombies were last seen fighting with the guards. A look over yonder tells you that it seems that the guards have won their own battle against the undead as it seems that the guards are advancing.

“Good job... we won. Hurray... Now we need to figure out what to do with her. I vote we stab her shadows. She’ll probably know more about Grimmore...”

Luthok drops his spider form and shakes his head. "Why do we always let them live, huh? Back in the Emeralds we killed a mongrel if it attacked another one of the hunting dogs, and seeing this bloody ***** of a lass here trying to murder Vivi. Well, methinks it is in it's place to snuff her". Luthok kicks the unconscious body in front of him with the tip of his leather boots. "Just ask her your stupid questions if ye wants to, but I suggest we put her down after that." 

He turns around and taps Vivi twice on the shoulder with an acknowledging nod.

“Frankly, we could say the same of Vivi. What would be the benefit in killing her before attempting to purge her shadows. At the very least, it will allow you to see if she is actually evil. But then again, meh, do as you please. I don’t care...”

Dyoken lifts the girl higher as Luthok moves to kick her. "In the Emeralds would you kill a prize dog when you found its master poaching your woods? As Muireach said, seems likely this beast is chained." He turns toward Vivi, "or... Is she?" 

Vivi stares at Seven's unconscious form. She has hardly moved aside from relaxing her stance and casting her scythe back into nothingness. Her lips form a flat line at Dyoken's question, and she looks a bit unsure of how to answer.

"Seven is a hard person..." Vivi stated, "but master made her that way. She is not like me, even though we are sisters... Seven is this way, but maybe it isn't her fault..."

From a distance, you see a human and a dragon or pair of guards approach your general direction. They look like they are beelining to you admidst townsfolk peeking out of their homes and windows at all the destruction between you and the guards. While the plants are gone, the road is a complete mess!

Luthok looks grumpily at Dyoken when he pulls Seven away so the kick doesn't connect. "Well she came to kill our lass, with the reason being her life is still intact. So it's safe to say that if we keep this new one alive we might get another one of these goddamn Grimmore daughters on our heads, and since we now have two, they might send even more reinforcements." 

"That'd save us a lot of trouble lookin' for them." 

Luthok tries to kick Dyoken in the shin. "WHY WOULD WE WANT TO LOOK FOR SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO KILL US?!?"

“Didn’t Vivi ask us to? She said that she wanted to save the others.”

 "Careful, Old Man. Don't hurt yourself." He starts to lead the dwarf to a recently broken rocking chair on a, now collapsing porch (just the way he likes). The question seems to confuse Dyoken. "I... I can think of no reason I wouldn't want to find someone who wanted to kill me. Master Sun Shoe called it 'Active Defense' in his 'Poetry of War'... Also it's exciting." 

Luthok struggles, but only pretending to do so. He mutters something incoherent for a few seconds and ends with a clear, "I am getting to old for this.", as he puts his staff across his lap and starts rocking the chair gently.
