Luthok picks a small, full grown mushroom out of his beard and twirls it between his finger. He sits a couple of yard away from the camp leaned up against a mossy rock. "Alright then... Let's see if this works." He pulls out his Staff of the Woodlands and rests the tip on the small mushroom in his hands. The tip of the staff glows with a dull green glow as the dark purple mushroom wiggles slightly. 

"So. Mushroom. Can ya hear me?" (The mushroom speaks common as of the Awaken enchantment put upon it. 

Dyoken will help Bigs manage the beasts and pound the stake. Two of his specialties.

Merrick spends the rest of the evening in relative silence, chewing on the fish, and mostly staring off in the distance.

When Muireach finished reading the note, it spontaneously caught flame as his eyes narrowed on it. “Scoundrel!?” He thinks to himself, “He dares to call the king of heroes a scoundrel!? There is none more honorable! Not one! I will show that piece of metal true honor! I will woo his lady as a true hero!” 

And so, he begins marching, but stops a few feet after, “Wait. Is wooing a woman to make a point very heroic? I would be more concerned, but frankly I’m blinded by this affront to my honor! Wooing it is!”

However, for this evening, he’ll stay by the fire.

(Hey hey, there's already wooing going on here. go shove your flaming note in Garamon's fire pit over there)

"My liege! I am so happy to be on this terrific journey with you," Sir Garamon greets Muireach as he joins the fire. It has finally started going, no thanks to the skeleton. Wedge has moved on to setting up the tent for Bigs. "I am trying to make contact with my own kind," Garamon whispers to the king while gesturing in Wedge's direction, "but he doesn't seem into it. He won't even show me his bones. I don't think he trusts me..."

Meanwhile, Luthok breathes life into a mushroom from his beard. A green glow pours from the staff and envelops the mushroom in wind, awakening the mushroom. As Luthok speaks to it, he can see a face form on its stock as limbs sprout from its body. It stumbles in place for a moment before looking to the dwarf. It answers in a punchy, older male voice, "Course I hear ya, chum. Innit the job of the spell to make it so? Bit daft are we?" It seems to raise a brow at such a silly question, but then it grabs at its cap as it falls to the ground. "Oy, me bloomin' head. Painful it is. Gods, gainin' a personality n' such is a bit of a chore."

 "Phew, my thanks, strong man!" Bigs wipes the sweat from her brow as DK takes over nailing the stake down and handling the oxen. "You seem really handy! Glad to see such a proactive attitude from an adventurer. Most of them just watch me struggle." She rolls her eyes and puts her hands on her hips. "Been adventuring long? I'm always curious to know more about people who take up such a life."

Vivi spies Merrick being sad. She walks over to him and attempts to play the accordion. She plays him back the song about the Skysovereign, though she neglects to sing the words to him. (Performance: 11, Merrick can decide how much he likes it or not)

Muireach glances between Garamon and Wedge before whisper-shouting to him, “I don’t believe he’s a skeleton, my calcium-based compatriot. I believe he is what Dyoken thought you were, a ‘Forged,’ or something along those lines. Essentially, he’s a big hunk of rock and metal.”

(I thought we were going to have a little friendly competitive wooing here.)

Dyoken notices Muireach looking over at the girl and shifts a little over to block the elf's view. "Everyday is an adventure, dear. While chasing your animals into the brush every morning can be exciting and all, it's not really the best use of your time. Best to take the time to set a proper camp. It also makes loading up that much quicker each day. I don't know that I've ever slept in the same place twice. I'm always curious about people who take up a stationary life. Building something big, setting down roots, you know, fascinating stuff." 

Muireach arches an eyebrow and smiles broadly, sitting across from where Dyoken is, “Ah, talking about exciting ventures are we? Wonderful! Did you tell her about the duel, Dyoken? Oh you should have seen him! Strode right on stage and danced off with a young Døkkálfr girl he met in the crowd! You two did seem like you were having quite a time together!”

"He isn't a skeleton? I thought Forged and skeleton were interchangeable..." Garamon seems mildly confused.

Wedge seems to tilt his head but says nothing as he continues to set-up.

"A duel that ended with a dance? That sounds marvelous!" Bigs grins as she walks closer to the fire. "What sort of duel ends in a dance? Care to show me?"

"I conceded the duel in favor of the dance." DK explains, "When a woman is in need what choice does a man have? Muireach performed very well though." DK says, "Would you like a demonstration of our technique?" Dyoken produces his flute, and gives Muireach a mischievious look, remembering well how their last confrontation went.

“Oh ho, my friend. I don’t believe you want any of what I have.” Muireach removes flute from his belt, “Vivi... accompaniment!”

"Uu!" Vivi nods and jumps up. In a magical spark of green light, the accordion becomes an acoustic guitar. She strums a few notes looking for Muireach's lead.

“Well, get ready for War Rock.” Muireach will begin striking up a tune, one wholy different from the ones he played at the Crossing. Weirdly enough, it almost sounds like trumpets are coming from his small flute. In combination with Vivi’s riffs, it sounds like a war song.

We’re... getting into it.

"Amazing! Adventurers AND musicians?" Bigs claps along and starts a beat through the song. She is smiling and seems pretty happy with the performance.

Finished with the task at hand, Wedge comes over and stands by Bigs with his arms crossed. He seems less impressed.

Dyoken accompanies Muireach, simple straight forward, four chords...

... The song goes on changing tempo and rhythm but keeping its tune. The lyrics seem familiar though their theme abruptly changes from one line to the next.

You can practically see the stars in Bigs' eyes. Wedge leans in and whispers something to her. Her smile widens as her eyes twinkle. "Wow, you two sound amazing! Do you do any duets!?"

"Do we do any duets?!" Dyoken responds.

"Do we do any duets?" Dyoken asks.

Muireach mulls it over for a moment, whispers to Vivi who strikes up a tune, and spins before pointing to Dyoken,

”Dyoken, are you OK?

So, Dyoken, are you OK?

Are you OK, Dyoken?~”

Dyoken shrugs, a bit confused. "I'm... Ok..." he says a bit reluctantly.
