"...and someone might want to treat her wounds, at least a little bit," Violet says as the adrenaline from the short-lived 'battle' wears off and she sees clearly how much of a beating the poor baker has taken. "She might have been an idiot, but I don't really want her to die after we're done questioning her... I guess after that we can leave her in the closet."

Once the baker is tied up, Violet releases her hold on the Hypnotic Pattern. The beholderkin floats in the air so that she can be on eye-level with the prisoner, and gives her a grin, revealing a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth.
"Hello there," Violet says in a friendly, conversational tone. "So... my friends and I have a few questions for you... now, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. The easy way is you tell us exactly where Happy Jack took those children, then we stick a gag in your mouth and leave you here to contemplate your life choices that lead to you working for an evil clown who kidnaps children. The hard way is that you refuse to tell us anything until one of us gets angry enough to chop you to pieces or disintegrate you. I think the easy way sounds a lot more fun than the hard way, wouldn't you agree?"
"Eh, well, healing is up to Ash," Nekane shrugs, tightening the bindings on the irritating woman. He gives a half laugh half snort at Lozak's comment, hiding a smile as he eyes the woman.
To the baker he says, "I'd really suggest the easy route. Perhaps you are completely innocent and have no clue what we are talking about, but that will be a hard sell as you seem to be pretty comfortable in this creepy place. So tell us, where can we find Happy Jack? We'd love to talk to him, particularly about how he entertains the kids."
"Just because she's fat and an idiot who thinks it's a good idea to fight while outnumbered five-to-one doesn't mean she's an actual cannibal," Violet snickers. "Though... all things considered, it does seem like a real possibility, now doesn't it? I certainly hope for her sake that isn't what happened to the children. Their parents most likely would be rather cross if that is the news we bring to them..."

As people are talking pan decides to open the next door to the south west of the one where the woman is tied up, he grins from his hidden vantage point on the ceiling.
The woman glares at the ones gathered around her, who have tied her up. She mumbles under her breath, "You all would taste fantastic baked into one of my pies."
Then defiantly looking at the beholderkin, "I do not know anything about any children. I want to take over the family baking business so I much bake, bake, bake. But now I must rest, please, please let me sleep. Please, Jack is making me work so hard, I need to sleep. Please..." her voice starts out strong, though tired, but then to almost a weak pleading at the end...
As Pan opens the next door, it appears to be another empty storage closet.
Lozak leans close to Violet's ear when the woman blurts her line about how good they'd taste baked into a pie.
"Pardon me, you were saying?"
He looks around, and then shrugs.
"I uh...don't mind using some of my uh...more...clandestine capabilities, if I may have some privacy." Lozak says, hinting at using some of his capabilities as a whispers bard to get information. He steps forward and moves to shut himself in the room with the baker, while eyeing his compatriots for protests...
As soon as the baker is subdued and his companions start drilling her, Ashtar loses interest. He's perfectly fine letting them do the interrogating, plus all of them gathered in that small space would be to cramped. So, without an explanation, he turns and starts to scout out the north hallway.
"Family baking business you say?" Nekane says in a matter-of-fact tone. "Does that mean you bake whole families instead of just children? My, this is far worse than I thought."He crosses his arms, "If Jack is making you work so hard, why not get a different job? One that doesn't involve luring hapless children into who knows what? Eh? Thought about that at all?"He shakes his head, then looks at Violet and Lozak, "I'll let you two do the dirty work. Have fun..." He waves a hand at them and then makes his way after Ashtar.
Pan de-camouflages and drops down from the ceiling at the end of the corridor in a huff, "rooms fulla nuthin', all o' them, waste o' my bloody time! I'm bored! Should we kill 'er an move on?"
The baker mumbles some protests but doesn't stop Lozak from pushing her back into the closet and joining her...
As Ashtar and Nekane head north down the cross sectional corridor, they see a door to the North and another door to their east. However, there is a short corridor to their east that opens up beyond. As the two of them look in that direction, they see a sign lying near the entrance to the room that reads ‘COSTUMES’. Thread, yarn, and twine of all colors and shapes crisscross the room, creating a thick web of colors. From their vantage point, it looks like there is a large hole in the center of the room.
"Hey, you never tied me up and shoved me in a closet!" Violet says indignantly as Lozak disappears into the closet with the baker.
She sighs... well, bards gonna bard. She then looks at the rest of the party.
"Honestly... I think she told us the truth and she really doesn't know anything," Violet tells those who are not currently in the closet. "Pan, we probably don't need to kill her, we can stuff something in her mouth to keep her from attracting too much attention and figure out what to do with her after we've dealt with the creepy clown.... or I suppose we could make her walk in front of us to check for traps. She presumably knows this place pretty well since she kind of works here... hmmm... it's a little bit evil, but as long as she isn't suicidal and just tells us where the traps are she should be fine. Besides, taking a little walk will probably do her some good."

"Well! This is and interesting room!"Ashtar exclaims, "I do not know if it will be more friendly then that mirror maze though! What do you think Nakane!" He glances at the tiefling, ignoring the screams from the other room. He's not a fan of torture, but he's sure that whatever pain Lozak is inflicting on that woman is well deserved. Anyone working for a child thief deserves to be punished. Right now, Lozak is serving that woman a fat helping of vengeance.
After a few minutes in the closet, Lozak emerges and dusts his hands off, adjusting his collar and putting himself back together after whatever happened in there. He reaches up and combs his fingers through his hair and walks toward the rest of the party.
"What an informative young lady." He said, nodding and eyeing his friends. "Weird thing about our friend the Baker. She's...well I think she was created or...something. She's quite strange. Jack makes her work too much. Not too much by my standards, either. Like...it seems to be all she knows. Working non-stop, baking by Happy Jack's command. She was actually in pretty bad shape before we found her. She wants to make him happy...but seems like that's a tall order. But hey! She did tell us the truth about the kiddos so...onward?"
"we probably don't need to kill a lot o' things" pan grins in response to Violet.
Lozak once again comes out of the closet, drawing the halflings attention "anyone ever tell ya how f*ckin' creepy ye are Zak?" Pan chuckles as he follows the mass of the group to the next interesting thing that Ane and Ash have found.

Lozak gazes over Violet's shoulder, regarding the baker's rotund form.
"Seems to me it's pretty obvious what they fed the children to. Oooh...did I say that out loud? Whoops."

Lozak closes the closet door softly behind him as he joins the Baker...

The door closes quietly behind Lozak as he joins the baker which can only be a very tight squeeze with the two of them in a closet that size.
A few moments later, the rest of the party hears the woman scream.. a terrified scream.
