"Someone probably needs to have a long talk with that chick." Lozak says with a frown. "Something weird about her. Ladder is missing a couple rungs near the top, as they say."
"Ooooohh... you think she's crazy," Violet says less-than-subtly. "So, we're going to the fun house now? It's been a long time since I got to go to the carnival! Hey Pan, are any of the creepy robots selling cotton candy?"

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Pan looks to ashtar and grumbles, then takes another pie and cotton candy shoving them in his bag for later. There is cotton candy tangled visibly in Pan's beard like cobwebs as he looks over to violet and answers "nope!" With a shit eating grin on his face.
Over the past few adventures he had become highly aware of how literal and childlike violet can be in her understandings of this outside world, and has been jesting with violet every so often about it. "Come on then let's be gettin inside, can't kill a weirdo without seeing him first!"
As Violet tries to understand how there is cotton candy in Pan's beard, yet he said there isn't any, you all pile into the minecart that the old woman is directing you to. As you do, she starts really getting into her organ grinder playing, the music carrying beyond the town square.
Once all the safety harnesses are latched, the cart begins to move and the rail system magically manifests. Strangely, the cart heads away from the funhouse and you see the rail extending several hundred feet throughout the town. As you pick up speed, you hang on to the cart as it goes through loops, barrel rolls, hammerhead turns, corkscrew drops, high-speed curves and you charge throughout the entire village, catching glimpses of it as you speed through.
The new rail system eventually leads to the painted, open mouth of the face of Happy Jack on the front of the funhouse. When the cart reaches the mouth, a bright light flashes and the cart and rail system continue into the funhouse, which is a pocket dimension.
The cart pulls to a stop adjacent to a wooden dock where there are two options. An open doorway at one end of the dock that from here looks like a waiting room, or the other end from where you came is a a door that has a sign reading 'EXIT'.
As you all exit the coaster, please roll a CON save.
As they exit the cart pan jumps out and pumps his fists in the air yelling in primal exhilaration, "LETS GO AGAIN! THAT WAS GREAT!" excited and panting he takes in the dock where their cart has stopped and eagerly eyes the exit sign, wondering on the possibility that if he leaves he would get to come back in via cart ride.
Ash climbs off the cart with wobbly knees, his grey skin looking a little green. As soon as he's off of the awful thing, he rushes towards a trash can (Assuming there is one) Then falls on his face. "I do not think I will ride that thing again."He mumbles into the wood floor then waves a hand at the halfling, "If you go again take a buddy." He dry heaves, "We do not need anyone to get separated."
This entire time he can't stop thinking about the fact that Paladins aren't supposed to get sick. And yet here he is, incapacitated on the floor. What a great start to this adventure!
"Hey, Ash is making funny sounds!" Violet exclaims. "He must have had lots of fun! Oh well, we should probably keep going and do whatever it is we're supposed to be doing here."

Nekane practically launches himself out of the cart, barely managing to get clear of Ashtar before spewing vomit everywhere. Between heaves he manages to say, "That... (barfs) was (more barf) the worst experience (heaves) of my life... Mfffbleehhh (barfing sounds)."
He curls up on his knees, hunched over and clutching his stomach.
"Ahah-AKKK" Ash, choke-laughs into the floor and cringes at the sound of Nekane's barfing, "You are very funny Violet, but please. I don't think I can...move...just yet."
Lozak sighs as he steps off the cart and looks at his friends, then lays his hand on her shoulder.
"Amateurs." He says, shaking his head from side to side as he watches the retched event before him. "See, Vi, there are a few things that cause such issues. A fast, windy ride. Excess alcohol or drugs. A good ol' fashioned stomach virus. Now, that latter there is not much help for, but the former two? Well, any salty member of the outlaw nation, that is to say...someone who tours a lot and parties a lot...well, their constitution would fortify their guts against such a thing through shear experience and inclination against looking like a little wuss. Alas. Where have all the heroes gone?"
He plucks the stings of his guitar as he says this last line.
As several of you need about five minutes to get control of yourselves after the ride into the funhouse, you all eventually start heading towards the open waiting room, taking note of the exit door behind you.
As you all file into the waiting room, you look around and are surprised by the state it all is in. It is dilapidated, abandoned, with clusters of old advertisements and fliers, mildew growing in the corners. The lighting in the large room is low and dim. White, orange, and blue halogen bulbs flicker on the walls, half are burnt out.
Dusty red velvet ropes lead the way through the waiting room. There is a very large white crate resting in the center of the room, painted with colorful polka dots. Cubbies, dusty and abused by years of guests, sit empty along the west wall.
Two small doors and a large double door are found along the north wall. A painting of a clown hangs above the large double doors, a paper banner dangles from its teeth and reads, 'Welcome to the Funhouse'.
Along the east wall, two wooden tables, covered in loose papers, are divided by another door with a sign above it reading, 'Only Happy Jack's Personnel Beyond This Point'.
"who are you calling little!" Pan explodes as Lozak throws around his off the cuff comments, pan goes full red in the face as they walk and produces an empty tankard from his pack which fills wil ale and he chugs it to calm himself down, "you watch it, you poncey shite! If we weren't in the middle of work I'd say we should throw down, but I'll save it for this jack lad for now." At the large box in the middle of the room pan walks up to it and then scrambles the top of it looking for any openings.
Lozak looks taken aback as Pan has his verbal tirade.
"Ah, verbal diarrhea." He says finally as his eyes flit from Pan to the old signs and so forth. "Not to fret my friend. Were you being a living embarrassment? Of course not. I was talking about those with weak stomachs who were painting the ground with bile. Never let anyone call you little. You're simply extreme danger wrapped into a compact package."
After his five minutes of incapacitation are completed, Ash sluggishly pushes himself to his feet and looks down at Nakane. "You look as terrible as I feel. Need a hand?" He offers to help the tiefling to his feet. He's going to ignore Lozak's insulting words. The paladin knows plenty well who has the weakest stomach in the group due to their various visits to the bar, and it is certainly not him.
"Violet is right. We should get a move on." He looks around noting both signs. Then he wordlessly starts making his way to the personnel only door and tires the lock.
As soon as Pan touches the large white crate in the middle of room that is covered in colorful polka dots, it bursts open, revealing an enormous werehippo. He's holding a 'WELCOME TO HAPPY JACKS!' wooden sign in his mouth, performing simple tricks, which is mainly moving his head around to attract attention to his sign, and has a nametag around his neck.
Nekane gives a weak smile as he accepts Ashtar's help, pointedly ignoring Lozak and his insensitive comments. "Thanks friend,"he says to Ashtar. "As much as I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone, I must admit that I'm glad I wasn't the only one who didn't enjoy that...ride."
He looks around the waiting room, scrunching his nose at the unkempt place. "Sheesh, you'd think this place would have been shut down a long time ago. Doesn't he have anyone to clean up? At least get rid of the mildew?" He sniffs... then again, the earthy smell isn't too bad. Shrugging, he glances in Ashtar's direction as the paladin tries the employee's only door. Well, if he's trying that, might as well get a look down the other route before they all make a choice of which way to go. Who knew which way would end up being faster in the end. So, he walks over to the path with the banner hanging over it and sticks his head through for a brief look around.
Pan jumps back in surprise and whips his rapier out instinctively, only to calm at the werehippo, "by the gods earthly kin what the f*ck! I don't like surprises! HEY YOU, STOP THAT!" Pan has a cautious look at the name tag.
He looks off toward Ashtar trying the personnel door. "How's it going o'er there?"
Ash turns to face his friends, "This door appears to be locked! Just as suspected. Though I think we would benefit greatly from seeing what is inside. This rooms could hold some secrets!" He steps aside and motions towards the door. "Would any of you rougeish types like to pick this lock?"
Nekane walks over to the double doors along the north wall and peaks through. Seeing a hallway that immediately turns to the right, the phrase ‘Happy Jack Loves You!’ and images of screaming and laughing demons and devils are painted on the walls that appear to be constructed using loose blocks of pressed wood.
As Pan basically shouts at the werehippo, it looks at him warily.. and definitely does not let him come close enough to look at his nametag.
