wait what? what do mean exactly by "unmoving" that sounds very specific and not in the way i expect an animal with a bleeding gash to behave while the other two are still frantic..
The stubborn ornery mules find a kindred spirit in Leek as he calms them down while the others drag the corpse of the creature away. Even with the residual reek of the creatures, the mules settle down to rest for the evening.
(Are you all doing anything else, or settling down for a long rest again?)
With your rest interrupted by the creatures, you all settle back down to sleep. The watch order is now: Rindelk, Katerielle, Leek and Kitryn. Leek and Katerielle sleep near the mules.
The remainder of the night passes without incident. (Everyone gets a long rest... full HP recovered, all spells, abilities, etc...)
The party eats breakfast, packs their camp and prepares the mules. Just as everyone is about to set off, you all hear the sound of snapping branches, thumps and the squelching sound of boots through muck. However the volume of the sound is loud enough you'd think the creature causing it would be nearby, but you can't see it yet.
As all of your attention shifts to the direction the noise seems to come from (direction: 7 o'clock), you start to see the tops of trees get shoved over and return to their natural position such that you can make out the steady progress as some large creature heads directly towards your camp. Soon enough a large creature, that most of you recognize as an ogre from personal experience or via hearsay, smashes large branches out of it's path and comes into view.
The ogre is easily 10 feet tall. A large brutish head with a prominent jutting jaw hangs open, drool dripping from large tusk like teeth as it sniffs the air. It's small beady eyes squint to slits as it finally catches a glimpse of the party. One massive fist, the size of Elila's head begins to rub and pat it's rotund belly, although you notice the skin is a bit slack from weight loss.
The ogre speaks slowly and loudly in giant (which only Elila understands), "Fooood." It tucks it's massive great club under an arm pit and unslings an ogre sized javelin type projectile, taking a bead on the four mules.
ooooooooooo Not only do I calm them, but now they have fallen in love with me! I'll never have to walk again!!!

The paralysis lasted approximately a minute, after which they started to move again. Katerielle's healing ended it altogether.

Elila sets herself up to sleep while Rindelk holds the next watch. Kat will sleep near the mules.
If the mules have calmed, Leek suggests going back to regular watch. Leek will sleep close to the mules in the hopes of reassuring them.

What do you do?
Rindelk casts detect magic!
Elila and Kat stand in front of Rindelk based on the direction of the noise.
I will stay near the mules to protect them, ready to launch into DIREWOLF Leek mode as soon as I know what the possible threat is...

"NOT TODAYYYYYY!" yells Leek as he transforms into a DIREWOLF and then runs off towards the ogre and attacks.
