Kitryn pops out from behind the crumbled wall of the castle and takes aim at the nearest enemy, the hobgoblin leader and scores a direct hit that punches into the armor. The hobgoblin roars in pain and just catches a glance at Kitryn before she returns back to her cover.
Wolf 4 follows the order it received and charges at Rindelk, biting at the wizard...
Bite Attack: 22 Damage: 5
Rindelk DC 11 STR saving throw: 5
(Even with Shield, that still hits.)
... knocking him down prone and injuring him badly.
King Grol steps away from the flaming sphere and squares off against the monk, swinging his morningstar...
Leek will quickly take a look to see if he sees anyone in need of healing. If so, he will heal. (I know Kitryn needs healing, but he is hiding behind the wall, so he's safe. If anyone else needs immediate help I will walk up and heal: 7
If no one seems to really need healing I will stay put and sling Grol in the back of the head, again. Attack: 20 Damage: 5

Yeah, I'm going to have to start listing party member HP somewhere, because that's not a decision I should be making.
Rindelk took a hit and can't take another one. Elila has less than 20 hp. Kitryn is pretty hurt. The prisoner/monk took a good hit from King Grol.
You can keep your rolls above, but which do you choose to do?
Well both Kitryn and Rindelk are away from the battle, so I won't bother with them. I can't get to the monk (and he's a hobgoblin plant anyway, so he deserves to die! :P) Elia can prob take another hit or two, so I will take the shot at king Grol and hopefully knock him out. (5 damage to the back of King Grol's head.)
I put the options for you DM to help speed up the game. Otherwise it will get bogged down in my endless questions.
King Grol is an experienced combatant. He deftly dodges the first kick and barely dodges the second. The third is too much and the kick across the chin pops something in his neck. King Grol collapses to the ground with a heavy 'thud'. The prisoner moves to avoid the heat of the flaming sphere and flanks hobgoblin 2.
Wolf 4 is burned severely by the flaming sphere and the fire bolt. It's fur is charred and skin almost crispy, but it remains standing. Barely.

The hobgoblin leader feints at Elila and makes a surprise slash at Leek..
Longsword Attack: 13 Damage: 9
Hobgoblin 2 follows his leader's leave, feints at Elila and attacks Katerielle...
Longsword Attack: 8 Damage: 6
The Leader scores a deep slash on Leek, but the other hobgoblin misses Katerielle.
(Kitryn is next. There is a wolf 10 feet away in line of sight. The severely hurt wolf is attacking Rindelk, who can't take another hit like the last one.)
Leek believes Elila is speaking to him, seeing as his attack came closer to hitting him than the hobgoblin leader! He will then take out his scimitar and slash at the leader.
Better than Elila scimitar slash: Attack: 8 Damage: 6
Kit pops out of the front gate, takes a shot at the closest bad guy and pops back in

Katerielle's thorn whip vine lashes out and scores a glancing blow at wolf 3, who can't be pulled.
Elila does more than kneecap wolf 3, as she cuts off two legs and it bleeds to death.
Leek slings another stone at King Grol and hits him in the temple.
(Monk/prisoner and Rindelk's turns)
The human monk will attack the hobgoblin king with a flurry of blows.
Attack: 16 Damage: 5
Attack: 5 Damage: 4
Attack: 17 Damage: 3
If any of the flurry of blows hits he must make a DEX save of 13 or fall prone.
