Did the bug bear have the special something in his eyes? If so, Dire Wolf Leek will rip out its throat with a large bite, grab it by the legs and swing it back and forth like a rag doll to try and bleed it... If it didn't have the look, then I will remain in wolf form (it lasts 1 hr, right?) and start licking wounds. ALSO, can I talk as a Dire wolf, or am I basically an animal? Can I use spells as a Dire wolf?
The bugbear was definitely cruel, but bugbears tend to be. They don't need outside influence to act that way.
In your wild shape, you can't speak (unless the beast has the ability) and you can't cast spells either. Except as a Moon Druid you can convert spell slots to heal yourself while in your beast shape.
Beast shape lasts your druid level divided by 2, rounded down, hours.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ok, well there's a difference between cruel beings and the ones I believe are representation of the great evil I need to destroy. If he did not have the special look, then I will not bleed him.
I will stay in Dire Wolf form then, unless my appearance causes distress to the prisoners and or Droop. Perception roll to see if I am causing distress: 17
The prisoners became prisoners one night when the Red Cloaks came into their home and kidnapped them. The same day their husband/father was murdered.
The young girl has a swollen ankle where the bugbear was crushing it in his grip, and several bleeding puncture marks where a claw pierced the flesh. The two others don't appear to be severely injured, although the mother is clearly traumatized and doesn't seem to want to stand up. All three have no clothing, save for torn pieces of dresses that they hold to themselves to cover up.
Soothing the prisoners proves to be difficult, but allowing them to rejoin in the cell and hold each other does seem to reassure them.
Direwolf Leek will run off to the cloak room and take 3 red cloaks for the prisoners to clothe them. (I would take off the bloodied cloaks from the jailers, but I think they would be more comfortable in cleaner clothing.)
I am also well-aware that I might trigger the skeletons. I want to see if being a Dire Wolf will make it that I am safe. (I mean, they don't seem to attack goblins or bugbears regardless what they wear, so I'm thinking they only attack cloakless humans...)
I propose the following. Take the heads from each of the bugbears and nothic. To be wrapped in a cloak and presented to glasstaff.. with the ultimatum to surrender or end up the same. But first.. we chat with prisoners.. who? Why they were taken? Do they know about redbrands, can they get home alone? Then, we take away any weapons from the skeletons (just in case) and smash them where they rest. After that we can take inventory of spells and such before final fight. And question droop, if there is another way out for glasstaff or just the one door?

That should read - Attack: 18 Damage: 5
Rindelk casts firebolt on the bugbear!
Attack: 5 Damage: 10
Elila fells the Short ruffian, the corpse sliding down the wall as his legs give out underneath him.
Rindelk blasts the Bugbear, searing a second little crater in his torso.
(Short Jailer is dead, so Katerielle can act. Then Kitryn and Leek can begin round 3)
19 actually. Rindelk's first firebolt was redirected at the bugbear instead of the jailer since the door was blocking vision.
Not sure if it's my turn, but here is my attack on the BugBear for when it is.
Dire Wolf Leek BITE: Attack: 12 Damage: 11
Elila hears the sobs of the little girl, furiously she attacks the bugbear with great fury!
Attack: 13 Damage: 7
Action Surge!
Attack: 24 Damage: 7
Kat casts cure wounds again on Kyt

Rindelk feels a surge of heat well deep within his chest. The sight of torture boils his blood.
Rindelk casts FIREBOLT at the bugbear!
Attack: 18 Damage: 10
Katerielle heals Kitryn again, closing her wounds further.
Leek snaps at the hobgoblins legs, wounding it.
Bugbear Strength saving throw, DC 13: 6 . Prone on a fail.
(Kitryn's turn.)
moving into the gap below to surround bugbear.
main Attack: 9 Damage: 8
offhand Attack: 17 Damage: 5
bonus :4
Kitryn jumps over Leek's Dire Wolf form onto the pile of clothes and stabs the Bugbear, killing it.
(BTW, your sneak attack damage dice don't get advantage).
All three prisoners are scrunched up into balls, head pressed into their knees and hands covering their ears, crying and sobbing.
What do you do now?

I am obviously not causing any distress, so I will remain in Dire wolf form.
I would like to ask the prisoners how they became jailers. I would also like to sooth the young ones.
Kat asks, "Who is most hurt?"
