Feeling quite at home at the Bow's End by now, the purple-skinned tiefling moves through the crowd and quickly tries to find some place for the friends to sit, or at least stand together, also trying to order the usual for him and Aurora.
Oh. Just a joke, Mei realizes with a self-deprecating laugh at her silly delusion.
Outside, Mei asks of Lesviel and the others, "Is Piero part of the showband too? I saw him head back stage earlier as well. I don't think he mentioned anything though?" She looks to Guardok to confirm, his roommate's comings and goings always seeming quite mysterious to her.
When they arrive at the Bow's End, she wilts, however, at the mass of people. She can't help but think of the level of chaos that would take place if something like the kitchen incident were to happen now. She hangs back at the edge of the crowd, wishing she had Guardok's knack for weaving through people like this.
(OOC - Piero was at the 'back of the auditorium' meaning in the back of the seating area for the audience. Not backstage.)
"Seems that Piero is always popping up then disappearing," Cadoras observes to Meion the walk over to the Bow's End.
Once inside Malvynmoves through the place with great familiarity. And Aurora is right at his side. Guardok and Rubina follow after them. But Meihesitates at the edge of the crowd not far from the entrance. She finds that Cadoras is right at her side. "Is anything wrong?"
The group is able to find a table to sit at, though it does not have a very good view of the stage. It's a little bit cramped, but with the crowd tonight it's about as much as you could expect to find. Drinks are ordered, although now you are left to wait for the waitress to come back with them.
"Oh, no. C-Crowds in small spaces just make me a little, um, nervous," she replies with a taut little laugh, though she does eventually follow after the others when it seems a table has been secured.
Cadoras puts a hand on Mei'sshoulder, walking with her through the crowd as they belatedly make it to the table with the others. Eventually everyone's drinks arrive, and all are settled into the small table. Lesviel had come along with the other floormates and sat down. "How is everyone? I've been so busy I've hardly had a chance to check in with all of you!" But as she is talking there are a number of different students that wander by. Rubina and Aurora seem to know them from the Show Band but clearly are not as acquainted with them as Lesvielseems to be. They offer congratulations for the show and a couple invite her to come join them later.
Amongst the crowd you all have noticed Drazhomir, Greta, and Zanther who are sitting with various groups. And even Javenish is here tonight, not working but enjoying a drink with a couple of other members of the Show Band. You haven't seen any sign of Pierothough.
"All is good I think, been a busy weekend though, for some more than others..."The purple-skinned tiefling answers Lesviel with a wide smile, already had some of his wine and being in an excellent mood. "In fact I think I'm the only one present not having made a fine cultural contribution to the undiversity the last couple of days." He adds but doesn't seem concerned about that, instead raising his glass in a toast to all his talented friends.
Maeleve walked quietly back with Larine, feeling a little to be out of the concert hall and everyone, as she made her way back toward the dorms. "Did you get to see much of our concert?" She asked after a bit.
"B-But you've been covering all these events for those who couldn't see them, giving them a chance to experience it for themselves," Mei refutes in earnest. "Today o-or twenty years on, people can read about what happened. You're painting a picture of the present with words, and it's because of them that we'll be able to look back on what we accomplished during the first year of our journeys. We'll never be the same people again but in the words you wrote about us."
Having waxed on, Mei reddens and takes a sip of her drink. She then smiles and requests, "A-All that to say, whatever we're toasting, I think it should include all of our contributions."
"Well thank you Mei, that is certainly a flattering way of describing an amateur reporter for a school paper, but I'm easily persuaded after some wine so by all means, to all of us." Malvyn says with a chuckle and raises his glass again, this time drinking before anyone starts talking again. "How about you Lesviel, are you doing alright with studies and that friend in the orchestra?"He asks with a curious smile.
Larine gives Mae a small smile. "Oh yea. I managed to slip in right before it started. It was a nice performance." She hesitates a little bit before going on. "Did you have fun playing?"
Mae smiled back a little. "Oh good, glad you saw it." She thought for a minute after though. "Yes. It was a very unique experience. I suppose I had fun, but it was very tiring. I'm glad we don't do it too often or I might never recover!"
Larine nudges Mae. "It is different having to deal with others," she says knowingly. "You think you'll keep playing with the Show Band? Guess it's not as bad when you're not performing perhaps. Anyhow, I'll walk back with you?"
Lesvielhad been listening to Malvyn'sresponse, and she smiled at Mei'scomment. "Indeed, being a reporter does count as contributing!" She looks puzzled when Malvynasks about 'that friend in the orchestra'. Aurora nudges him subtly, but she is already replying. "Ah, the boy I was dating you mean? That kind of fell apart a couple of weeks ago."
When Meihad mentioned toasting, Cadoras had raised his glass, which thankfully steered the topic away from Lesviel. "Yes! Let's raise our glasses to the fabulous Show Band performance! Congrats to Lesviel, Rubina, and Aurora! And Maeleve even though she's not here." The others raise their glasses and take a drink. "And to our actors," Cadoras then says, motioning to Rubina and Guardok.
"Plus, don't forget our reporter, Mal." Aurora says with a wry smile.
The purple-skinned tiefling pales visibly as he realizes his faux pas and sinks back in his chair a bit, nervously scratching his neck. "Yes, the reporter, I blame the Star for asking too many questions." He says with a weak smile, taking a gulp of his wine to forget the whole thing. "If I only had someone who kept me updated on current events." He adds, glancing over at Aurora with a small smile and a wink.
Maeleve smiled a little at Larine. "Oh yes, I'm sure I'll keep playing with them. I do like it. I'm just glad we don't put on that big of a show very often is all." She gave Larine a small bump back. "I would really love it if you walked back with me." When the continued back, Maeleve would ask Larine about anything else she was doing, her fish performance and such, and just take it easy going back to the dorm.
Mei raises her cordial in toast as well, watching Lesviel and then Guardok over the rim of her glass as she takes a sip. Her cards thrum in their holster.
After a time (feel free to keep chatting Guardok/Mal!! Just wanted to get her eventual words in), she pipes up, "Well, I suppose I should get back for my midnight rituals. I'm still not sure what happens if I, um, if I miss them," she laughs. "Thank you all for sharing your talents with us. A-And for your support! Please be sure to get some rest tonight!"
"Maybe, well, Cadoras if you'd like to stay longer, maybe Guardok would walk back with me?" she says, hoping to give her exhausted friend an excuse to head back and get some sleep as well.
Larine tells Maeabout the progress of her water dancing routines - both with the Intramural Water-Dancing Club and with her fish. The former is progressing though it sounds she still struggles a bit. The later also is improving, though the fish are not quite as interested in the routines as she is. "It's all fun though. I love being in the water," she adds with a smile. The two make their way slowly back to the dorm. "The Water-Dancing show is going to be in a couple weeks. I think it was planned to be a bit after the next exams." She looks a little anxious when she mentioned exams.
Aurora gives Malvyn a grin. "Don't know what you're talking about. You're the reporter. What would I know?" She drinks down her wine and catches the attention of the waitress who quickly has another for her.
"Anyone else need a drink," the halfling waitress asks the others.
After having finished just one drink, Rubina is ready to leave. "Been a long week. I should get back and get some rest. Then time to jump into studying!" she says.
Later, when Meiis ready to go, Cadoras leaps to his feet when she suggests Guardokcould walk back if he wanted to stay. "Stay? Of course not! Like I said earlier, your wish is my command. I'd be glad to walk back with you!"
"I must decline. I am only here for the one drink to toast everyone. With my mug now empty, I will be making a move. I am happy to walk back with anyone else who is leaving now", Guardok replies when talk of another drink is brought up, looking to Rubina and Mei who both mentioned leaving.
He will say goodnight to Aurora and Mal, and Lesviel if she is still about, before settling his bill. He is then ready to get back to the hall for some well needed sleep.
(OOC: DM - I probably need to chalk off some coin. Guardok has been fairly frugal, mainly eating at the hall so far. He has likely been out for the odd drink every so often. How much do you think is reasonable?)

Guardok merely shrugs back at Mei. H has no idea if Piero has something to do with the Show Band.
He follows the others to the Bow's End, intending to stay for just one drink. Especially as it rather packed, and after such a busy few weeks.

Guardok allows the others to chat, simply listening for a while.
"Do you know when your articles will be printed, Mal?", he asks when talks turn to the tiefling's journalism.
When Cadoras and Aurora make their toasts, he raises his mug and takes a sip.
"Here, here", he adds with a smile. The others can tell he pretty much running on empty right now after such a busy few weeks.
