ROUND 2

The Blue Frog bites Cadoras - again!  He seems pained but not seriously hurt. (He is again Grappled and Restrained too.)

The Orange Frog hops at Guardok but misses.

(Mae then Guardok are up!)

"Oh goodness! These are very bad frogs! Get away from my friends!" Mae's eyes darken slightly before thrumming her drum again, conjuring up another blast of fire toward the Red Frog!

Firebolt: 13 to hit, 6 fire damage

Mae then vocalizes an ethereal tune briefly in celestial and blows the music toward Mei, attempting to give her a small lift.

Bonus Action: Bardic Inspiration to Mei

Mae will continue to move only enough to make sure none of the frogs can rush her.

ROUND 2

Mae's Firebolt hits the Red Frog. It is clearly wounded but still looks in decent condition. She is able to keep back to where the frogs are clustered in the lounge. 

Guardok dodges out of the way of the orange frog's bite and draws his rapier.

"Sorry, Magma Coulee. It is a shame it has come to this", he says as he takes up a fighting stance.

He then thrusts forward with the blade as an extra layer of stone seems to appear over his body.

Action: Attack orange frog with Rapier - To Hit: 9+5=14, Damage 4+3=7 [piercing]
Bonus Action: Cast Blade Ward using racial ability.
Special: Concentration Bane round 2/10

ROUND 2

Guardok's blade pierces the Orange Frog, wounding it, though it still seems healthy. 

(Knap is up then Malvyn!) 

Initiative List: 

Relieved that the dreamer seems safe, the purple-skinned Tiefling turns his attention with a snarl to the blue frog assailing the green-haired Elf that seems to have a hard time realizing the gravity of the situation, placing his hex on the massive blue amphibian before blasting it with purple eldritch force.

Eldritch Blast: 21 Force: 4 Necrotic: 3 

“I think they’re …beyond reasoning… with.” Knap squeezes out his words, as he puts to use those iron lifters gains and attempts to escape the frogs grasp.

athletics: 19 + 2 (Guidance) = 21

Knap stands his ground refusing to leave Mei’s side. 

 ROUND 2

Knap is easily able to break free from the Red Frog. While Malvyn misses the Blue Frog which has hold of Cadoras.

The Red Frog again looks to Knap, trying to bite him again.  (Bite Attack: 9, Damage: 2)

ROUND 2

This time, Knap easily avoids the Red Frog's teeth.

(Mei is up and then Round 3 with Piero.)

A small sob catches in Mei's throat as the violet frog drops lifeless to the ground. She sniffles and gingerly pulls her leg from its slack jaws. Seeing Knap’s wound, she strums the threads of the Weave and utters Sylvan word of healing. "[Heal]." Again, arcane wisteria flowers bloom and then fade.

"I have to try, Knap. I don't think it's their fault.” Why else had they appeared outside the cafe, so far from home? Why else had they suddenly transformed all at once? It didn't seem natural behavior. “But if I lose my hand, you can say 'I told you so,'" she smiles in weak reassurance.

With a deep breath--inspired by Maeleve's ethereal voice--Mei steels herself against the odds of being bitten and slowly reaches a hand towards her racer. "Shh, shh. It's alright. Y-You're okay. You just want to go home, right? We can take you home. Shh." Her voice is soft and gentle, soothing like her mother's as she tries to calm the frog.

Action: Can she try a Persuasion check? Or Animal Handling? Anything to try and calm the frog down?))

(Mei - I would think Animal Handling is the most appropriate.)

ROUND 2

Mei tries to quiet the Red Frog and it stays put, staring at her. It almost seems to be listening more than during the race!  The frog still seems agitated and fidgety. But for the moment it hasn't tried to lunge and bite anyone!

ROUND 3

Piero calls out an arcane words, casting Mind Sliver at the Blue Frog. (INT Save: -2, Damage: 1)

ROUND 3

The Blue Frog is struck by Piero's attack, doing just a little damage. (Subtract 1d4 from next Save)

Cadoras continues to struggle to free himself from the Blue Frog again. (Acrobatics: 12)

ROUND 3

Cadoras does manage to get free. This time he seems like he's in a bit less of a joking mood.

The Blue Frog hops up, trying to bite the Elf again. (Bite Attack: 14, Damage: 3)

Retaliating from Guardok's strike, the Orange Frog again tries to bite him. (Bite Attack: 7, Damage: 6)

ROUND 3

Once again, the Blue Frog bites Cadoras, grabbing in to him. The Orange Frog misses Guardok.

(Mae, Guardok, Knap, and Malvyn are now up!)

"Nice work, Mei! Who knew you had a knack with animals!" Mae flashed a smile at her before looking at the blue frog and Cadoras and sighing. "Now really! Can't you see he isn't interested!?" She unleashes another thrum of her drum and a flash of fire at the Blue Frog!

Firebolt: 16 to hit, 7 fire damage

Mae vocalizes again in something rhythmic and grants Knap some inspiration (1d6) this time! (Bonus Action: Barding Inspiration to Knap)

Guardok ducks and weaves his way around Magma Coulee, avoiding its bite and moving behind it now. His movements are like a dance, fluid and graceful.

He once again thrusts forward with his rapier.

Action: Attack orange frog with Rapier - To Hit: 7+5=12, Damage 8+3=11 [piercing]
Special: Concentration Bane round 3/10

ROUND 3

The fire from Mae hits the Blue Frog. It is heavily injured now but not quite down. (And it still has Cadoras!) 

Guardok's rapier finds its mark and the Orange Frog is sent lying lifeless before him. 

(Knap and Malvyn are still up.)

Frustrated with his lack of precision, the purple-skinned Tiefling desperately sends another purple beam of eldritch crackling force towards the blue amphibian grabbing the green-haired Elf.
