“I’m over here. It’s alright, Glasstaff is fine, just the usually wizard bullshit, but fine," calls out Syzygy, some of his enthusiasm drained from his voice.
"Let's speak like civilized adults here," adds Glasstaff. "Come on in. Let's not hide like schoolchildren. Aros, come on out. I can see you there. I have a business proposition for you all. A very generous one, I might add. A generous deal for a very skilled group of privateers like yourselves."
Quinn grits his teeth at the sound of Syzygy's voice, knowing this is not his friend who's speaking. As Jurgen steps forward, Quinn looks at Kimberly and Bryony, closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and stands up to follow Jurgen.
He is sure to keep distance between himself and Jurgen so that they are not in the same line of fire. He scans the area searching for Glasstaff's companion and any other threats.
"Where's your little devil at? Hiding like a little school child, eh?"

Aros feels his heart rate increase. He would much rather dig through the ruins than fight someone in them. Nevertheless, his new friends saved him and he is in the position to help them out. He tightens his grip on his walking staff and casts Guiding Bolt at Glasstaff.
Bryony continues to hide in the ruins, listening to the wizard calling out to them. Something seems off about Syzygy's voice. She wonders if the wizard has done something to him already. The halfling continues to creep forward into the ruins, remaining hidden, until she can get a glimpse of the wizard and Syzygy. It's dangerous, but she still wants to be able to help should things turn into a fight.
(While Glasstaff is evidently aware of Aros hiding, he apparently can't actually see him. Aros may make a second roll, as he is at Advantage for being unseen.)
(And I suppose it's best if we all roll initiative!)

Bryony sneaks closer. (Make another Stealth check. She gets about 25 feet away from Glasstaff.)
"So many questions! I am delighted to answer them. First, Zeond is off catching frogs, undoubtedly. And as to..."
From the pile of rubble where Aros was hiding, a white flash of light streaks toward Glasstaff. (Aros is no longer Hiding. He's about 40' from Glasstaff. Everyone else is about 65' away, much of it Difficult Terrain.)
"Hey!" Glasstaff shouts. His face flashes red with anger, as he is clearly taken off-guard. He recomposes himself, gritting his teeth with pain, and mutters something to Syzygy. "Let's just all calm down. I have a proposition for you. Honest work, and excellent pay..." He rubs his seared shoulder delicately.
Glasstaff initiative: 12
Quinn, Kimberley, and Syzygy should roll initiative.
Quinn continues walking towards Glasstaff and keeps engaging him.
“Oh, I bed he’s okay. He bashed Bryony’s head in. His lackeys killed Sir Roderick.” His voice getting louder and louder as he continues. “Sure, he’s a nice fella. Those Redbrands bastards of his killed Mirna’s husband, they probably killed Larno Albrek. Heck, they woulda killed us if they could’ve. Sounds like quite a nice gent.”

"Ah. You must be Quinn!" says Glasstaff, sizing up Quinn. "Let's all relax a moment. I promise you that I know nothing of this Roderick - of royal blood, was he? - and I can assure you that Larno Albrek is alive and doing quite well. Let's just have a calm talk. I have an offer for you – a very generous and lucrative one, I assure you. As to the 'Redbrands'... well, I think you murdered them, did you not? Case closed! Justice served. Did you leave any alive down there? You seem quite efficient at killing."

Bryony gets out her shortbow and nocks an arrow. She has it aimed squarely at the wizard, but she doesn't want to be the first to start a fight. She'll continue to hide and watch how the scene unfolds.
Bryony nocks an arrow from her excellent hiding place, about 35' from Glasstaff. (Action: Ready. What's your trigger?)
Jurgen approaches the wizard and Syzygy. (5' - within melee range.) He still has an action if he wants it.
Kimberley hurries ahead carefully. She joins Quinn, about 20' away from the duo.
"Excellent question, my little kobold friend," rumbles Glasstaff. "I bring you a lucrative offer of employment. We are in need of employees, our previous crew being mostly or fully deceased now, and you have demonstrated yourself flawlessly on the battlefield. And look how you're all dressed! Why you could become quite the force to be reckoned with. Forget the Redbrands. Now we have... The Rubicund Ruffians! The Sanguine Syndicate! The Merlot Marauders! Oh, there are so many delicious possibilities. As I was just telling my new friend Syzygy, here, we are on the cusp of something very big. Something that will make us all very rich, very rich indeed..."
