Rather angry at being wounded again, Ruven sends four bolts of pure energy at the largest bugbear: 3 4 5 5

Ruven blasts the big bugbear with four glowing darts of magical force, badly burning the intimidating goblinoid. 

The four other bugbears charge forward and continue their assault on the party:

Bugbear #3 Morningstar Attack vs. Quinn: 14. Hit: 14 piercing damage.
Bugbear #4 Morningstar Attack vs. Draco: 9. Hit: 7 piercing damage.
Bugbear #1 Morningstar Attack vs. Boona: 13. Hit: 12 piercing damage.
Bugbear #2 Morningstar Attack vs. Boona: 11. Hit: 17 piercing damage.

Quinn and Boona are up next!

Boona sneered at the bugbears blow then brought her maul across the one to her left, " Don't hurt Little Ones!"

Attack: 13 Damage: 10

Boona's maul is parried by the brute's fat Morningstar.

Quinn is up next!

The big bugbear, its eyes set now on Ruven, tries to smash its way through Draco:

Big Bugbear Morningstar Attack vs. Draco: 21. Hit: 4 piercing damage.

Quinn, Bryony, Ruven, and Jurgen may act next.

Bryony stands back up shakily, dusting herself off.

"That really hurt," she groans.

Not wanting to see Ruven and Draco get smashed, Bryony darts quickly behind the bugbear attacking Draco (using Halfling Nimbleness to move through the bugbear's space). She then attacks the bugbear from behind, sinking her blades into its back.

Shortsword - 23 to hit, 7 damage

Dagger - 23 to hit, 6 damage

Sneak Attack - 9 damage

Quinn parries the bugbears attack and returns with one of his own.

14 to hit for 10 damage (15 total damage if the bugbear isn’t at max HP)

Quinn swings back, but has trouble getting past the bugbear's thick hide armor.

Bryony sinks two blades into the massive bugbear's back, one going straight through its heart. It falls hard, nearly atop Draco.

Ruven and Jurgen are up next!

Jurgen will move diagonally to the upper left and engage with the enemy there. Draco will attack the one in front of Boona. 

Jurgen attack: 25 to hit for 14 damage

Draco: attack: 25 to hit for 10 damage

Ruven moves up to attack the one in front of Quinn, trying to stick it with the pointy end of his sword:

Attack: 24 Damage: 8

Jurgen and Draco take down bugbear #4. Another one down. 

Ruven tears into bugbear #3.

The three surviving bugbears –  two wounded – disengage and (giving Bryony a wide berth) throw open the western door. They begin to shout for help in Goblin.

Quinn and Boona are up next!

Boona pounded across the floor into the doorway trying to collect the bugbear in front of Bryony with her maul on the way.

Attack: 21 Damage: 11

Quinn runs forward to pursue. He draws a dart and throws it at the bugbear that Boona attacks. If Boona’s  hit takes it down he’ll redirect to the next available target. 

Quinn stops near Bryony and Boona and he hears the fleeing bugbears call for help.

”Ready yourselves. There’s more coming. Does anyone need healing??”

20 to hit for 9 damage ( only 4 IF the target is NOT at max HP)

Ruven tries to staunch the bleeding. Yet again, I find myself grievously wounded he says, more annoyed than anything.

Boona and Quinn charge forward, seriously injuring the (previously uninjured) bugbear near Bryony. 

The bugbears continue to shout for help as they continue to retreat through the door.

 Bryony, Ruven, and Jurgen may act next!

"Yeah, I'm hurt again," Bryony says, her teeth gritted against the pain. "But Jurgen healed me earlier. You should heal Ruven!"

The bugbears try to make their escape, but the halfling isn't having any of that. She goes after the bugbear next to the one Boona hit.

Shortsword - Nat 1  :(

Dagger - 22 to hit, 4 damage

Sneak Attack - 8 damage

Ruven rushes forward, his hand glowing and wreathed in sparking energy, and tries to grab the nearest bugbear.

Attack: 19 Damage: 4

(If successful, Ruven will retreat a few paces)

Jurgen will move just to the upper right square of the where the eney's in the door are and using Green Flame Blade attack but will miss. Draco will also advance and attack the same enemy.

Draco attack: 18 to hit with 7 damage

Bryony rushes forward and manages to sink a dagger deep into bugbear #3. It's in bad shape as it continues to try to retreat.

Ruven appears next to her and finishes it off with his shocking grip. It falls, and he steps a few feet back.

Jurgen ducks past him and tries to engage the bugbear in the doorway. Draco, unable to get through the front lines, goes the other way and manages to fell the one menacing Boona.

Only one wounded bugbear remains. It turns and runs.

Jurgen may have an opportunity attack.
