"No! Can NOT touch!" replies Ruxithud, breaking his singsong intonation for a moment. He drifts back, and levitates higher up to try to put space between himself and Boona, who is now halfway up the stairs. But the strange green goblin is already near the ceiling of the vaulted chamber and has little room to retreat any higher up.
Bryony sees a table in the east wing covered in papers and notes. On top is a crudely drawn map covered with messy arrows and scrawled labels. The room is otherwise unoccupied.
Jorzu and Laiti see little but empty hallways and blue lava.
Ruxithud rolls his eyes back into his head and mutters for a moment. "You try our patience," he finally says to Fergus. "This is more important than gold. We are transforming the entire plane! You can keep whatever else you find in Talhundereth, I suppose..."
”Very well, I will take this offer to my companions,” responds Fergus, turning to look for the others. In a play to get more information, he turns back and asks, “Oh, and I almost forgot—do you need anyone to help escort the offerings? We would be happy to help get them to where they belong, if only we knew where…”

Disappointed, but also a little relieved, invisi-Jorzu creeps back to the main chamber just in time to see Fergus offer assistance to Ruxithud. Confused at why his friend would be attempting to help the peculiar goblin, he waits and watches the exchange.
"We need no escorts... Qunbraxel's servants already transported the offerings, offerings for the gods, to fulfill their special purpose. Those remaining here are unfit," responds Ruxithud. "But you... you have been chosen to help find the fragment hidden below Talhundereth. Go there. Speak with Ontharyx. Join the cause."
Boona has still not connected the word ' Offerings' to ' Bryonys Family' so she is far less ready to splatter said goblin than she probably should be right now.....
“Very well. We shall collaborate and deliver our answer forthwith,” responds Fergus.
Retreating back a bit and asking Boona to join him, Fergus quietly communicates to the others over the next few rounds as they (hopefully) return from their scouting, “I think we have extracted all the information we are likely to. I suggest we coordinate a surprise attack as the next chorus of my song begins.”
Continuing to play while the duration on his Calm Emotions spell reaches its end, Fergus builds to a powerful chorus, hoping to catch Ruxithid unaware.

Boona looks down at Fergus from her position on the stairs a little grumpy that the goblin won't let her boop his brain crystal.

If you wish to follow Fergus' plan:
Make a DC15 stealth or Deception check. If you succeed, you may roll Initiative with advantage. If you fail, make a straight initiative roll.
