We can get lost for days in this dammed maze." He looks back towards Ruven, Jurgen and Bryony and shrugs. He closes his eyes, cups his hands behind his ears and listens for any sounds.

Quinn steps east towards the junction where Bryony went. He looks at Bryony and then takes two steps south trying to gauge if that tunnel will join up with Boona.

Bryony walks back to join Quinn. She nods at Jurgen. "Sorry, I didn't mean to go too far ahead," she says quietly. "There's just so many passages down here. It's all so confusing."
Bryony may roll initiative with Disadvantage and act if she meets or beats a 12.
Note that because of the low ceiling in this area, Medium (and larger) creatures have disadvantage on melee weapon attack rolls except when fighting with light weapons.
The blob wallops Quinn with surprising force: Pseudopod Attack vs. Quinn: 22. Hit: 8 bludgeoning damage plus 2 acid damage.
Quinn and Bryony (20 feet away) may act, and then (presuming somebody shouts or calls or otherwise summons the rest of the party) everyone else may roll initiative (no longer at Disadvantage.)
Quinn is startled by the heavy weight of the ooze dropping down from above. The sheer mass of the thing smashes into him and then the acid sears his flesh.

More small passages branch out in all directions. This rock has been heavily mined. Boona's back is beginning to cramp from hunching.
"This place is a maze," Bryony grumbles, trying to catch up with Quinn and Boona. "Let's go down one of these eastern passages."
The little halfling will walk past Quinn and head to the right and then immediately to the left as the tunnels keep branching off.
