"She seemed to pray on him while he was alone, another point for sticking together, makes us less likely to be preyed upon by these individuals, it seems, regardless, they might be capable of being tricked, it's not possible to know yet, however, it's a theory that must be tested, and is risky to test, still, tricking this one or the frog seems like the easiest way to get our job done" Marwan notes.

The halfling looks at each of you. "I'm going to go try my proposal again. Good luck to you all."
We seem to have slowed here, and I am going to be out for most of the next week, so perhaps you all can discuss what you think your next steps should be?)

Just to clarify, yes - ritual spells for wizards CAN be cast as long as it is in their spellbook - I read a bad reference to that originally (or maybe misread it?). In this case, the spell only revealed that this mirror needs a specific phrase to be activated. The halfling does not know much other than the girl was whispering to him that she could take him somewhere to get away from all his woes, which seemed appealing when he thought his proposal was laughed off. But they didn't get as far as the phrase needed for the mirror.
Other than maybe finding the 3 strange creatures that seem to be lurking, the only other source of information regarding this "other side" appears to be Mr. Light and Mr. Witch, except for the little tidbits you have discovered.

"I feel as though we may be wasting some time in exploring the rides, we rarely find very much, perhaps we should find somewhere private to work out our next moves" he notes, looking at his fellow halfling, doesn't want anyone eavesdropping on them when they're probably going to have to plan a heist, seems a lot like the only option left, plus, Marwan doubts that there is anything around the snail races or inside the teapot, the mystery mine and pixie kingdom could still hold clues, in his opinion, but there is more concrete things attached to Mr witch and Mr light, he still doesn't really want to steal from them, but it's more like borrowing in this case, not like he's not going to return the staff when they've found everything they're looking for.

Xivros was accepting that there was little that could be done with the mirror for now. "Ah wonder if maybe one of us could attract the girl willing to help take as away from all of our woes by seeming sad maybe?" are is last thoughts on the matter as it stands.
"Well, ah'll follow y'all and do what I can." He wasn't accustomed to sneaking into places or taking things that weren't his so he wasn't sure what use he would be.
[have they all walked out of the mirror place by now? I’m picturing them standing in a huddle off to the side, comparing notes and trying to decide what to do next]
Brenviel tosses their hands up in frustration. “I really thought that mirror would be the portal, but I can’t figure out the phrase to open it. I’m sorry, team. I don’t really know what to do next. I confess I still don’t fully trust the kenku- his plan to have us steal from the carnival owners seems destined to get us in even *more* trouble. What other options do we have?”
"Other options? Well, there's going to pixie village and asking for help. It may take a fay bargain or two, but "eyes in the sky" to find the bad guys. Or offering our services to Witch & Light as carnival hands in exchange for opening a gate after a term."
Xivros shrugged "Alacazam!" And poked the mirror experimentally to see if it had changed. ""Or we could just enjoy the carnival. Ah've live most my life without a sense a' direction. Reckon ah'm pretty used to it now."
Robin thinks. "Didn't somebody say you got clues, like somebody lived in a swamp or something? Maybe one of those is the password. Like "Prismeer" or "swamp" or their names?
She touches the mirror as she says this.. Before we leave the mirrors.
Xiv raised an eyebrow at that. "Good thinking." The tall man thought back. "'Baviorna Blightstraw. She lives in a rambling cottage on stilts, in a fey swamp. She is allergic seeing someone run widdershins.' And Skabatha Nightshadeand lives in a dollhouse possibly in a hollowed-out tree in a sylvan foresta and can’t remember the first creature she sees when she wakes up. Then Endelyn Moongrave is in a mountain top theater and has foreseen her own death, which happens during an eclipse." He scratched his chin. "Ah think that's all of them." Xivros looks to Marwan for confirmation as he watches the mirror for any changes.
"Asking the pixies for help is probably a good idea, Robin, since you're a fairy, you should probably do most of the talking, it will come across as more genuine that way, or at least probably be more likely to work." Marwan notes, he did try to stop robin from just blurting out the names of their adversaries, on the grounds that the adversaries don't know they are looking for them right now, and might learn if they hear their name through the portal.

"I've never met a pixie before," pipes up Cadence, then furrows his brow. "At least, I don't think I have. My memory of my younger years isn't what it ought to be. Are they usually pleasant?"
"Well, no telling how they'll respond to a fey that can't smile",
Robin tells Marwan. She uses the names.
"We've been searching for them untill the pig girl ran when she saw us. If they're paying attention, they already know we/re after them. I mean, Xiv told me the names in front of the mirror."
Robin answers Cadence. "Pixies are very curious of the bigger folk. They're friendly to allies but prone to practical jokes. I expect they'll be better behaved at the carnival, but take their pranks in stride and they should calm down and be pleasant to visit.Ro
"Ah don't think ah'd want to call anyone an adversary." Granted, stealing from a child was pretty messed up when you got down to it, but he'd like to think there was a friendly solution to every problem.
"Oh," says Cadence. "I'm not sure about pranks. I tend to get a bit jumpy when I'm nervous. I don't want to react badly and upset them. I'll try my best though. I am curious to meet pixies. But then, my old Abbott always used to say I was curious."
Cadence affects a deeper voice, trying to capture the gravitas and authority of an elderly Abbott. "'Cadence,' he would say, 'you are a curious young creature. Quite curious.'"
"Come to think of it, I'm not entirely sure what he meant by it. Anyway, lead on. I hope someone knows which way we're going, because I'm as lost as a fish at a funfair."

"Good luck to you two, too, fella. And don't propose in front of any magic statue displays this time!"
Turning to the group.
"So, take a short rest for Brenviel to memorize Identify? Or visit the Pixie Village and see if I can drum up some allies to help us look?

Robin touches the mirror and repeats the names to see if it activates. "Baviorna Blightstraw!" "Skabatha Nightshade!" "Endelyn Moongrave!"
If those don't work she tries the first names
"Baviorna!" "Skabatha!" "Endelyn!"
Then the last names
"Blightstraw!" "Nightshade!" "Moongrave!"
Then odd words from the list.
"Widdershins!" "Eclipse!"
Finally, she tries
"Mister Witch!" and "Mister Light!"
If none of those work: "I'm out of ideas. Why don't we try the Pixies?"
"Asking the pixies for help is probably a good idea, Robin, since you're a fairy, you should probably do most of the talking, it will come across as more genuine that way, or at least probably be more likely to work." None of the attempts manage to trigger the mirror.
On to the pixies?

A little aimless as always, Xivros follows the group assuming this would all make some kind of sense eventually.
