The Roaring Lion is a large tavern and inn. The interior has dark wood panels and somewhat worn carpeting on the floor. The chairs and table are set about with many options available. Illumination is by glowing sconces on the walls. No open flames are seen. There is a human couple working behind a bar as well as several serving women. A door leads to a kitchen. Stairs lead up to private rooms and the inn areas. There are a few patrons here. The two dwarves you saw enter joined two other dwarves and are now ordering drinks and food. Another table has a tiefling, human and an elf eating and drinking. Several patrons are alone, humans and dwarves evenly split.

You forge a telepathic link among up to eight willing creatures of your choice within range, psychically linking each creature to all the others for the duration. Creatures that can’t communicate in any languages aren’t affected by this spell.
Until the spell ends, the targets can communicate telepathically through the bond whether or not they share a language. The communication is possible over any distance, though it can’t extend to other planes of existence.
Kragen walks to the bar with the humans working it.
"Good day, good innkeeper. I and 5 of my co.panions would like to procure rooms for a week. Do you have good rooms available?" Kragen digs into his pouch for coin.
"We are in need of a good meal and refreshment as well."
Cyrus identifies Starker as the most mentally puissant. The two dwarves that entered in front of you are next. The rest of the room is about the same, unremarkable.
Kragen gestures to a table large enough for all to fit. Then turns to a table wench "young lady, my friends and i are hungry and thirsty. Can you bring fine plates of fine roast and a plate of Boiling Eels for my friend" gestures to Starker "he has an odd palate." Smiles at her. "We also krave some of that fine Mt Waterdeep Kolsch, can you bring us a couple of pitchers. Thank you" hands her enough gold coins to cover the food, drink and a healthy tip.
She looks at Kragen with and odd look, leaving the coin behind. Soon after, the man who was behind the bar walks over, “Shea says you are asking for boiled eels and Mt Waterdeep kolsch? That’s a special order that will take some preparation. Why don’t you retire to our upstairs private room and we will serve you there?” The man gestures up the stairs to a set of double doors.
Starker likes the sound of boiled eels. By studying their topology and correlating it with their doneness he hopes to quantify the effect of agony on posture. He follows Kragen.
Chadwick allows the rest to file upstairs, he brings up the rear. He glances back scanning the room contemplating.
He prefers a straight up fight to...whatever this is. He knows violence will follow soon. But who? Another glance back.
They should have just had the storm giants smash the infernal thing and be done with it. He sighs, he feels like the blood is getting harder to clean off his armor. Is there a spell that could help with that?
He looks forward to killing the dragon and going home. The manor should be coming along nicely. Not as nice as she's used to, but comfortable enough. Would she ever actually marry? It's been too long.
Those fools on the docks, what was that all about? So sloppy, maybe it was supposed to be intimidating? Nah, they thought they were being clever. Freya, now she's a clever girl. Hopefully she can rejoin soon.
*Sighs*
Never seeing that saddle or stein again. Would it be bad manners to ask the dwarf king (Prince?Mayor?) for another one? Once they get the money from the mine she'll get some really nice barding. She needs new braids with some ribbons, she deserves it.
He could just stand outside and keep an eye out and not bother with another meeting, but he should head inside.
*Sighs*
Blood is going to follow. The stories never mentioned how sticky it is following Tyr's word. He'll need to get some fresh wool cloth.

Clever Bard
Starker takes out a hematite gemstone engraved with the dwarven rune X. It glows a faint blue.
Kragen walks to the bar with the humans working it.
"Good day, good innkeeper. I and 5 of my co.panions would like to procure rooms for a week. Do you have good rooms available?" Kragen digs into his pouch for coin.
"We are in need of a good meal and refreshment as well."
Arrangements are made for rooms for each of you. The man behind the bar gestures to the tables for you to sit where you like.
Starker, using Cyrus-vision, looks for the most intelligent being in the room.
Xymox raises his hand. Looks at Starker....shrugs.
Cyrus identifies Starker as the most mentally puissant. The two dwarves that entered in front of you are next. The rest of the room is about the same, unremarkable.
Kragen, were you asked to order eels and some mead or other?
Ooc-just arrived back in the states.
"Thank you Sir" Kragen gets up and follows the inn keeps instructions and heads upstairs through the double doors.
Yartol follows Kragen.
Starker likes the sound of boiled eels. By studying their topology and correlating it with their doneness he hopes to quantify the effect of agony on posture. He follows Kragen.
Never split the party. Following the others
Yes, yes, everyone follows.
Chadwick allows the rest to file upstairs, he brings up the rear. He glances back scanning the room contemplating.

Wait, what was that?
Starker, hearing Sir Chadwick’s sighing, in an aside to the paladin:”Would you like to hear a joke?
Who’s there!
Knock, Knock
It’s about time!
Crystal ball repair man.
<weakly slaps the young knight’s back and titters his disturbed, disturbing, laughter>
The door closes behind you with a click after Chadwick enters. This is a largish room. A few wooden chairs. That is all.
