Upon hearing Trolkarl recount our latest trials, Kragen smiles in satisfaction thinking <Tyr's Scales have certainly been busy, my friend!>
Kragen then looks with concern and anxiety towards the Tower, you are not sure if he is going to bolt towards the Tower...
Then back to the others "Let's be about it, i am not sure how long i will be able to tolerate the suffering that is occurring." Looks back to the Tower and then starts to fiddle with The Judge.
He regains focus upon hearing of the Monlor the Weakest continued scrying on the Company. Then to The Company "Once i have procured a focus for my spell, i will attempt to Scry on that wizard. His judgement will come due soon!" Then thinks to himself, <so shall it be for that cur Thistlepig!>
Starker to Erbert:”Colleague, I am a student of Evocation. During battles I cower far from the thick of things and try to rain down fire where it will do the most good. When fire is not useful I find the flexibility of Chromatic Sphere useful. I offer these thoughts for you to consider when and if we go into battle together.”
Elbert’s head snaps around to Starker and he gives a toothy smile to the fellow wizard. “Oh ho… a fellow evoker! I like to use my power to burn up my enemies as well.. a nice fireball or some immolation works well on folk who mean us harm. Or, sometimes I like to dangle them in the air if they are problematic. I think we will work together quite nicely.” He gives a single self satisfied nod and then starts to study his spellbook again.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The night passes without incident. An encyclopedia of odd noises emanate from the east. Strange laughter and giggling, moans, cut off screams, groans, rattling of chains, a farting female manticore ( seems oddly specific, yet you all ask if that is what that was the next morning ), chimes, discordant musical notes from organs, lutes and bells.
Lathandar’s glory arises again from the east the next day. The tower beyond backlit by the rising sun. The guards change watches as the night guards move to their tent for much needed rest. Bacon is being cooked and tea is brewed. This is served with a coarse, sour bread and fruit preserves.
Kragen rises and begins morning prayers. Once complete, he gathers and stows his bedroll and personal items. Leaves The Judge and his shield resting against his things and begins cleaning up their immediate surroundings, keen to leave it how they recieved.
He has a light breakfast of dried beef and some moldy cheese, along with some nuts he procured from shalecliff.
Once others gather their belongings, he donns his shield and The Judge.
"Foul happenings were heard last night towards this tower. Judgement awaits them, the scales will balance!"
Then looks towards the Tower in anticipation as he waits.
Erbert straightens up, finishes packing his things and says "Indeed, it is time. Let's begin, shall we?" He walks over to his guards and leaves 10 of them to protect the camp site, make it appear that nothing has happened, all is the same. "Keep a stern watch. Guard against intrusion. If anyone shows up... tell them I have left to find more lore about how to get past the wall. Don't let them know where we have gone. Give us a tenday. Then come searching for clues if you must, but we will be back before then. You will be well rewarded for keeping our rearguard and protecting our interests, we wish to investigate this site on our own." He walks back and forth, then looks to his ten best guards and says, "You will come with us, to watch over us as we venture forth into the tower. Let me see if we can get past the wall and bring it down, we will bring through as many of you as we can."
Erbert walks with book in hand, heading to the place where he has studied the wall. "Okay, everyone ready? Here we go!" He casts dimension door to get past the wall of force, thinking in his mind of an appropriate point beyond...

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The sergeant of the guards divides the men into two groups. None come with him to join you and nine remain with the corporal to guard the camp.
The sergeant replies to Erbert, “We will join you to the ruins. But, remember what was discussed in Luskan.” He reminds Erbert of the discussion held with the Captain of the guards, “Keep a safe distance from the ruins at night, no matter what the wizard wants you to do.” The sergeant continues, “we should plan to leave in time for sundown and the return of the vile spirits.” He says this referencing the wraiths that scour the landscape at night.
The walk to the ruins is not a long one, or arduous. But it is still a bit taxing. The landscape has changed since you were here last. The plant life has strange iridescent sparkles to it when the light hits it in the right way. No trees are seen. A few bushes are branched strangely. One seems to have the appearance of a dog skeleton the way its branches are formed. Weird noises continue in the area around you as you travel. Sometimes these are ahead of you, other times to the sides or rear of you. A particular occurrence with hoofbeats behind you set Chadwick and Freya to spin about with his lance leveled to face a previously unseen enemy. Only to see open grass behind you.
About half an hour has passed putting you halfway to the ruins when you see a group of armed men ahead of you. You are about 100 yards away at this point. Kragen can pick out that they wear chain shirts, shields, leather boots and helmets. Each is armed with a spear, a sword at their waist and have crossbows on their backs. They seem to be heading in a direction that is not directly towards you, but will cross your path.
Erbert says quickly to Starker, "I can create a small space for us to hide in, but I don't think we could all fit in there, and I think they would see us. We could try out those fireballs, eh? Do you ah have anything ready to help?"

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"For a dude who attacked us when we repeatedly tried to be peaceful he sure carries a grudge.
And spying on someone during their dinner is just rude!" He says the second part louder to make sure the creepy wizard catches it.
Chadwick volunteers to take first watch with the guards after dinner.

A new day is upon you.
Starker:”Let us go to Kellistor’s Tower and see if therebis any change of status. Colleague Erbert, perhaps your doughty guards can accompany us?”

Xymox will also cast DD, bring one member of the Company. (Trolkarl?)
(( Still backed up to seeing people ahead of you….))
Starker:”Colleague Xymox can create an instantiation of Leomund’s Tiny Hut. I unfortunately have few abilities that don’t involve destruction.”
