Kragen cocks his head is if he is listening to something, then turns to the group. "I have received a response from Chadwick, here is his response verbatim"
<"All is good, I've woo'd Vox. Have Trolkarl bring the wand so we can uphold our end of deal. Don't be aggressive.">
"It appears that Chadwick has managed the situation well, we can proceed as he has instructed" , "I believe the only way this could be a ruse would be if he were charmed and genuinely feels the sit is under control."
Starker: “I concur. I remain troubled by Ajax’s continued absence, though. Perhaps our flying friend is flighty? If this is unusual, though, it tips the scales in favor if caution. Still, though, if Cyrus goes with Trokarl on his shoulder I can share the monkey’s senses and give a narrative of what occurs. Trokarl?”
I am good to go with CM. The aide told me he would meet me at the door last time
Feedback on this idea…
refuse to go beyond the door unless Chadwick is allowed to leave. If they balk at this, the aide and one of his friends will be asked to join you guys down the road as an peaceful exchange of hostages
Nothing aggressive as Chadwick asks. But this is still suspicious

The aide is there as you arrive to the front door. "Mr Vox and Mr Chadwick are awaiting our return. Please, follow me." He turns to lead you into the Lucky Lady.
The aide stops, facing away from you after hearing your words. He turns and walks right up to you. "That is NOT how it will happen. Look about for a moment," he pauses so that you can look about. "None of this is yours. You are not in charge here. Mr Vox is. He is trying to be patient with your inane antics. But, that patience has a limit. One that is within reach. You have a choice to make. Follow me, or, don't."
He then turns and walks into the Lucky Lady, taking a turn to go down a side hall.
Trolkarl approaches the front door and the doorman. You see the aide inside the door. He and Trolkarl have a brief exchange. Kragen is able to read the aide’s lips for part of what he says, “…..follow me, or, don’t.”
With that the aide turns and walks away. Trolkarl hesitates and then follows him into the Lucky Lady.
Starker shifts to CyrusSense4D and narrates everything he perceives through Cyrus’ eyes and ears to the party. I imagine we are just outside the door to Vox’s place?
To the remaining group “that was a tearse exchange with the aid? if Trolkarl does not return in a timely fashion, I will arm up and we can unleash the “burn it to the ground” party on this Vox character.”
Seeing the advisor, Greand, through Cyrus’ eyes and his actions Starker guesses that he has used some kind of Divination on the wand. While doing so he did not speak or make somatic gestures.
It was during this divination his attention was attracted to Trolkarl’s sword.

Does it appear a hostile reaction? Chadwick in view? Condition?
Starker: All seems to be well in hand. Chadwick seems fine. Trokarl has handed over the wand. The onfornation given in exchange was given as follows, word for word from Vox’s mouth:
“The woman you describe was seen by some of my better eyes entering a fight club several blocks over.” He describes the location and building. “She was accompanied by someone we know. A tiefling named Duren. He is a dangerous character. People go missing around him. A lot. She did not appear to be relaxed around him, maybe even scared.” Vox leans forward towards Chadwick, “My free advice is to walk away from this.” He again leans back in his chair, “But, I am guessing you won’t. Your friends will do well to have a softer approach in that area. Violence is their only tool and they are adept at it,” he says to Trolkarl. “Oh, and there is only one rule about the fight club. You don’t talk about the fight club.”

Pauses for responses from the team.

Starker:”This seems prudent and reasonable to me.”
Ajax is back. He could not locate Chadwick.
Got your back!
Heading to the entrance. Darkbane at the side. Wand in pouch. And a monkey on my shoulder.
Trolkarl will stop at the entrance and look for the aide
The aide is there as you arrive to the front door. "Mr Vox and Mr Chadwick are awaiting our return. Please, follow me." He turns to lead you into the Lucky Lady.
Trolkarl stands in place
My friend is going to need to come to the door so I can speak with him so we can close this deal.

Looking at Cyrus.
Have the group ready. This isn’t going to end well. We need to get Chadwick and get back on task to find the lady.
Goes inside
Kragen is unarmored and weaponless right now besides his spell casting ability.
