Using my keen dwarf sense of underground terrain, can I determine if all rooms encountered to this point a relatively on the same level as the entrance?
Yartol seems itchy. "Can we not move on from this fell place," he whispers to Xymox.
Xymox’s smile fades; his voice softens. “I hear you, friend. This place chills even my songs. Yet every legend needs its turning point—and ours waits in the next chamber. Stay close, and we’ll be done before the next heartbeat.”
Addressing the group. “Seems we have explored all obvious areas of this fell place. Clearly have some clues which provide further areas of exploration.”
then looks thoughtful “Where are the most likely places for us to continue to investigate? I can return to the west secret passageway with the murder holes and traps to investigate. I’ll use my hammer to methodically tap on the wall, making my way every foot, in an attempt to find further entrances or rooms. Maybe that paired with my Tremorsense abilities I can pickup on false doors, passages or rooms.”
”I don’t have any mining equipment however can attempt to mine up through the murder holes? The structure may be weakened enough to allow for a hole to be made?”

According to the AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide (p. 106), a properly equipped dwarf can remove 35 cubic feet of hard stone per 8-hour shift. Assuming an average tunnel cross-section of 5' x 5', this equates to approximately 1.4 feet of forward progress per 8-hour shift.

Note that Kragen is NOT properly equipped.
We will be passing this standard to the administration team of the Deep Wave. Dwarves performing below this standard may be placed on a Performance Improvement Plan. The PIP will include additional training, progress checks daily, and guidance from elder dwarves until they reach the expected performance level. Continued underperformance after the improvement period may result in further action, including possible reassignment or remedies as Starker sees fit.
Starker:”Before we leave I would two go over the walls and various decorative features of the room with the altar and the chalice and the dagger and the box. Perhaps I shall also attempt to open the box using the Knox spell. If that should’ve asked us nothing, then we should proceed with father Kragen’s adjusting the relationship of the space with its designated purpose. Before we leave this area, though we should go back to the building, we initially entered, the one that pointed us the way here, and see if other arrangements lead to other directional indications. If that also should prove not useful then we should go to the nearest town with a decent arcane library to study the writings that we have found.“
Yartol looks around the group with a quizzical look, “You are all just talking about all of the things you ‘could’ do. Why don’t we pick one and get moving out from under all of the rock?”
Trolkarl will assist with any desecration or denial and error attempts as guided by Kragen. Double checking for plaster that can be removed (recalling this from famous tales of tombs of horror)
To Kragen privately,
“Do we take the tome? You know it seems a risk to leave here if anyone else shows up and it contains any proper guidance”
And should the rest of the Company be prepared to leave, he will remind everyone
Please recall the trapped entrance to this complex.

Xymox looks at Yartol, then to Trolkarl.
"Grab what seems valuable or helpful. Holy types can desecrate this place. Then let us be gone, if we cannot figure a way forward."
“While I complete my final investigation of the silver box, pleaee someone carefully look for hidden doors or levers or buttons that might be manipulated.”
Starker walks up to altar and ritually identifies the magic on the box. (Requires 11 minutes of touching the box)

In response to Trolkarl “I agree my friend, would not be happy to leave this place unguarded for others to stumble upon. Although it’s quite remote, I would rather return this place to its more natural style than allow evil to persist.”
to the others “I will do a more thorough check of the west passage and then transition into the ritual area to begin to desecrate its purpose.”
Kragen uses the walls and ceiling to avoid the precious traps encountered. Then methodically investigates the west passageway including the room with the caltrops. Using his hammer to tap on the walls and listen for changes in density.
(let me know how many invest checks I need to roll)
Kragen spends a great deal of time tapping his way around the rooms/halls you entered through. No secret passages are found from the entrance to the mausoleum.

Maybe Shalecliff, IF Arnak is there. Otherwise, Luskan and the Arcane Brotherhood or Neverwinter. The last is 2 weeks away.

Yartol, "Oh yeah! That was a serious trap on that door. No interest in dealing with that again."
(( No plaster to be found.......yet. Stop reading that module. ))
We are going to need a DeLorean.
