Chadwick offers to open the chest by flipping up the lid with his halberd. If that won't work he'll make sure everyone is at least 10' away before opening it.

Xymox: "It seems the coin has magical inscriptions of power on it. No real message."
looks up at the others. “This is a fell artifact that I am sensing nefarious necromancy. I suggest that you examine without touching Mage Starker. I will retain the disc and with Tyr’s divine power, keep its evil contained so not to infect others!”
shows Starker as he holds it in his hands, allowing him to examine.
once Starker is done, he pulls a leather square (12x12) , places the disc in the center, sprinkles holy water while saying a prayer to Tyr. Then wraps and places in his backpack.
Starker:”It is a Soul Coin! A fascinating and potentially useful item. The trapped soul’s essence can be tapped to aid the owner. If it is empty, it can be filled. What luck! Enjoy its possession, Father.”
Starker:”I am certainly no expert, but if there is a soull trapped in the coin then perhaps if we freed it we could ask it questions about the necromancer?”
Starker:”The pendant requires attunement. If Xymox chooses to do that now, I will see about taking care of some of this incipient mortifying frostbite I seem to have contracted.”
The great doors from the wall of force room open to reveal a very large, cylindrically shaped room with a flat ceiling that is 30’ high. The floor is a deep blue and translucent marble with tendrils of fog threading and writhing below the surface. Large brass braziers burn at seven locations evenly spaced around the room. The door you entered through would be the eighth in the pattern. A 20’ diameter magic circle with an inscribed pentagram is etched into the floor on the opposite side of the room. The ceiling above this diagram has a 10’ diameter hole leading up into darkness. A sense of ‘power’ can be felt in this room. It makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
The scorpion demon, Skur Z'ith, is defeated after an intense melee. Several of you are damaged and Trolkarl and Chadwick emerge Poisoned. Chadwick relieves the Poisoned condition for himself and Trolkarl with his laying on hands.
Looking up through the hole the ceiling only reveals a smooth walled tunnel if looking from the edges of the magic circle. Entering the circle will cause no effect or harm. Looking from directly below reveals that there is an open space about 60’ up from the floor of this room.
You retreat back to the arena with the Walls of Force in place and Xymox casts Leomund's Tiny Hut. Resting within the Hut you recover from your recent fights and emerge full strength.........and 8th Level! Advance your characters before we proceed.
Yartol looks over to Xymox as he leans back against his pack chewing on some jerky, “This spell of yours is very useful. Will it work in a blizzard as well?”

Xymox: "Blizzard.....thats the one with snow, right? We dont get that much snow in the UD. But yes, it works anywhere. Quite useful really. I highly recommend it."

Xymox will look over short-stack's shoulder and read the inscription using Comprehend Languages.

The holy water hisses and immediately boils away, off of the coin.
After packing the soul Coin away, Kragen anxiously looks at Xymox and Chadwick as they open the last chest.
Chest #3 is opened without incident. Inside you find:
2 potions of Greater Healing
Scroll (Cleric): Continual Flame, Locate Creature

Starker, refreshed and more cheerful than he’s been in a while, rubbing hands together:”Now let us examine this interesting floor decoration!”
<Investigates and consider the arcanic properties of the magic circle looking thing on the floor.>
