Starker, seeing Kragen’s windup, tries to interrupt:”I was going to suggest that I try alone at first, as I am not a battlefield medic and if things should go wrong someone else might help me. Then we could try a coordinated simultaneous strike, perhaps with Darkbane scratching across this hel throne icon. But I defer to the wisdom of Kragen.”

If we fail to disrupt the summoning circle, perhaps it serves as a motivator for us to make haste, knowing that we anticipate the return of this demon the longer we take.
Starker:”Let us all try together, on the count of three. I will rhythmically count 1, 2, 3, and then, when in rhythm I would say 4 instead I will say ‘fire’. Please time your effort so that its effect will impact the circle during the sounding of the long ‘i’.

Kragen follows instructions with a Sacred Flame, listening for Starkers keen inflection of the "i".
Starker:”hmm … Sir Chadwick, do you not have a weapon of the same metal as Good Yartol’s? Would you mind trying to see if you can elicit a spark ir mar the circle?”
Yartol is looking at his blade with a funny look on his face. He shows it to Kragen, “Father Kragen, are you familiar with smithing admantium? I’ve never seen this blade react that way to a blow.”
Kragen examines the blade with his Eyes of the Eagle. There is now the smallest of imperfections on the tip of the blade’s edge..
Chadwick readies a mighty swing with his longsword, then hears Yartol's comment. He slowly unwinds, and instead sees if he can scrap away the paint (blood? Whatever) of the spot pointed out by Starker by using the stone more as a sharpening stone than hacking at it.

Kragen gasps as he notices the imperfection to Yartol's sword tip. "Admantium is an extremely durable alloy with enhanced hardness and tensile strength properties. This metal is prized for its ability to maintain an edge and its durability in extreme conditions. The magic associated with that pentagram must be of significant strength to have edged that sword." Looks on in astonishment.
Chadwick’s attempts find no purchase. The magic circle is made of stone and metal inlays into the bedrock of the mountain. There is nothing to “scrape” away.
This magic circle was clearly built to last, similar to how many permanent teleportation circles are constructed.
”I can attempt to dispel its magic however I confess that Tyrs divine power may be insufficient?”
”if we carry on, Xymox and I can reconnoiter up the wall and through that opening” points skyward “to determine what lays beyond.”, “suggest 2 of us go in the event we encounter more evil”
<starts to giggle, looking around as though expecting applause>
Chadwick chuckles, though disappointed about the lack of progress.
In reply to Kragen's comment. ”I can attempt to dispel its magic however I confess that Tyrs divine power may be insufficient?”
"Tyr's power is always sufficient, but as mortal vessels for his power we are sometimes not up to the task.
We believe in you brother, but this liches power is on a whole other level. It possible that attempts to dispel it might trigger another trap. Please be wary."
Chadwick clasps Kragen's shoulder and looks at him while saying.

Kragen begins an incantation and prays to Tyr. A bright orange radiance descends on the area Starker instructed him to target.
9 radiant damage, no hit roll, only dex save. Since it’s stationary, should strike every time.
Anyone else?
Kragen stops the incantation and nods to Starker, then steps back and motions to proceed.
Starker targets the magic circle at a point of confluence, and believed weakness, with a Fire Bolt. No discernible effect occurs.
Trolkarl casts Eldritch Blast at the symbol identified by Starker.

Yartol proceeds as listed above with his short sword.
Starker uses Fire Bolt.

Trolkarl plays along again with the Eldritch Blast.

All of your attacks are listed in the Game Log. No effect to the magic circle can be seen.
Yartol’s sword does elicit a spark when it hits.
