All of you have exited the cave to take cover behind the briars beside the stream. The two dead goblins there are rolled into the thicket to make space. The man looks better off after Kragen’s healing. There are no obvious serious injuries seen on him.
Bronk follows you out of the cave and tries to shield his eyes in the bright daylight.
(( What about Goblin2 who is tied up in the cave? ))
Food and some fresh water go a long way towards reviving the goblins' hostage. He eats and drinks all you offer him with great thanks. This and Kragen's healing visibly change his bearing. He still is obviously injured, but now is carrying himself more ably and a sharp look has returned to his eye.
"Thank you, good sirs! I appreciate your freeing me from these nasty Cragmaw Goblins. I fear my ultimate fate was not far off if you had not come along." He looks to each of you and says 'Thank you.' He then continues, "I am sorry, but you asked me things inside that I just don't recall now. I am Bran Locke. I have been working with the Stonejaw brothers in their endeavors. Most recently, I was escorting Cleggor Stonejaw from Luskan to Shalecliff. We were beset by goblins in an ambush. They killed our horses with arrows from the trees. Mine fell and my foot was trapped under it," his eye begin to water a bit. "I was unable to defend us from these rabble. They took Cleggor and me prisoner." He then looks around eagerly, especially to the dwarves, "Have you seen Cleggor?! He has been gone for a while now. I fear what has become of him."
"Well met, Bran Locke!" "I am sorry you had to endure such treatment at the hands of these creatures." look of disdain at goblin2 "I hope you are recovering well, i will do what i can to assist." pauses to reflect "We recently agreed to provide a service for Cleggor, protecting a wagon load of equipment for his endeavors here in Shalecliff" "We expected to meet Cleggor here in shalecliff, however upon reaching the town, his brother Magnar, communicated he was delayed..." "During our transport to Shalecliff, we were also beset upon by these bandits and were able to repel the attack and safely deliver the equipment." "When we found word of Cleggors delay, we set out to investigate the location of our previous encounter and track those who would do ill to others and maybe find the whereabouts of Cleggor!" "The trail led us to this cave system, where we encountered this lot and found you"
"Do you recall any clues which might help us to pick up the trail or lead to his whereabouts?" "Do you recall any conversations during your captivity?"
Bran listens to what Kragen has to say. He nods along with several of the comments. Once Kragen is finished, he answers. "We were attacked I am guessing several days ago," he starts. "It is hard to say due to being kept in the caves the whole time. The beatings started immediately. Cleggor was badly injured during this time." He looks to the group again, "We have to find him and save him from these savages!" He seems almost desperate while saying this. "Then the half-orc showed up. He started asking questions during the beating, and, was more cruel as well. The caves were abuzz with activity and excitement shortly after this. A group of them must have left with the half-orc. There were fewer around and they had less time to abuse us. The half-orc returned and was angered. He and that bugbear had a nasty argument in front of me and Cleggor. They were pointing at us and shouting at each other. I could tell the bugbear was not happy with being ordered to do something by the half-orc. In the end, the half-orc took Cleggor and left me with the goblins. I assumed I was being kept for entertainment and eventually dinner."
"Do you have any idea of how long ago they left? CradDick, that's the half orc coward by the way. We had a run in with him before when he was killing and robbing sailors in Luskan.
Is it fair to say that CradDick is after whatever Cleggor's project was about? If so, and we're going to save him, will need to head there quickly.
How long would it take them to get there from here? And how long has it been since they left?"
Chadwick seems agitated that CradDick has once again slipped through their hands. Pacing while asking his questions.
"You don't have to worry about Klarg, he won't trouble the world no more".

"Thank you Bran, those events align with our encounter with CradDick and his partial band of bandits. However they also had some Humans with Red Cloaks with them as well when they assailed our party. Any information on these bandits and why they would be working with CradDick? We will certainly try to track and find Cleggor and return him to Shalecliff and bring CradDick to Tyr's justice however would need some additional clues to help us pick up the trail."
pauses to think...
"Is there any link between your endeavours north of Shalecliff and this group of bandits, CradDick and or the Red Cloaks?"
Bran slows down on his eating and drinking the water you provided him. He keeps a close eye on Goblin2 as he is talking as well. "CradDick is an unusual name. Even for a half-orc!" he manages to chuckle a bit. "Unfortunately, that is all I know. I did not see anyone wearing red cloaks. Only the goblins led by that bugbear and then the half-orc who took Cleggor with him." He seems to think for a few moments and adds, "As for the business of the Stonejaw brothers, that is their tale to tell. I don' t know of a connection between them and these goblins, 'Red Cloaks' or the half-orc."
Erbert tries to speak with Goblin2 to no avail. The goblin only speaks to him in the barky language of his people. Bronk watches this for a while then says, "He not talk....Elves. Only me. He kill you if can. He says so."
Erbert gives up on Goblin2 and asks Bronk about the half-orc and the red cloaks. Bronk listens and eyes widen a bit at mention of the half-orc, "Bad! Bad! Him mean. Come with men in cloaks. Take our prize to .... lair."
"Bran, if we go to investigate the 'human lair' would you want to go with us, or should we drop you off in town? I'm sure we could scavenge a sword and some darts for you to use"
"Well I'm down to a single spell, and seems like we're fairly beat up. I want to get there as fast as we can, and it hurts me to say this, but it might be best for us to rest overnight. That way we can hit them at full strength.
How do the rest of you feel?"

Chadwick can grab him and keep an eye on him. Figure we can turn him over to the town for justice.

We need to ask Bronk about Cleggor. I’ll leave details to those more well suited for communication and interrogation.
If Bronk doesn't know, we could have him ask his tied up buddy. Rough game of telephone, but might get us more info.

We need to ask Bronk to elaborate on the prize, and if he knows where Craddick may have gone.
Agreed, what lair is he referencing? This one or another one? Can he lead us there?
When Bronk is asked about the ‘prize’ he mentioned he points to Bran and says, “And dwarf.”
When asked about the lair he replies, “Cloak humans lair…,” points to the NW. “Day walk. Bronk know. King Gral order Cragmaws …help cloak humans.”

Bran responds to Chadwick, "I am going to get Cleggor." He looks about and finds a scimitar, shield, short bow and arrows from the dead goblins.
what time of day is it or where is the sun in the sky right now?
It is late afternoon
