Krackle would race forward and make his way towards the eggs. "wow really!?!" He would exclaim as he moved closer. He would extend his hand and place it on one of the eggs. "So do you think these are from a black dragon?! Do you think that means they are destined to be evil? Or could they be taught to be good?" The young kobold would ask as he looks back towards his companions. "We need to take these back to town with us...maybe Jr could haul them is we can figure out a way to secure them." he would add before placing his ear up to the shell of the egg, attempting to listen for movement inside.
Krackle would turn and hold out his arms, dropping his torch and orb. "No! Don't! They... they are just babies inside.. baby dragons.... kind of like me..." He would beg, dropping to his knees...
Zeds sighs and rolls his eyes. Why did Ironthar even tell the little one what he was going to do, he wondered. Should have just waited til they were distracted...
"Yes," Zeds says to the earlier question. "I think they are destined to be evil. I don't think any amount of proper raising would ever change that." Zeds walks over to Krackle and settles down onto his haunches to kind of out himself at their level.
"There ain't never been a good black dragon. Not that I ever did hear about. And these ones are being held by an evil cult that is already attacking towns, slaughtering innocents. With a dragon helping them... And half dragons helping them. Nothing here is any indication of goodness..." Zeds tries to explain. "These aren't lone abandoned orphan puppies. These are evil dragon eggs being raised by an evil cult. I'm afraid that there's really no other option, my friend... But we can make it quick. And we can promise that if we ever come across ones that aren't destined for evil we'll give them a chance... Like with Junior..."
Zeds has his hands loosely on Krackle's shoulders as he speechifies to him. He's ready to grab Krackle and hold him fast if it looks like he may try to resist and stop the others from doing what must be done... But he tries not to put any pressure on them unless it's needed. Best if Krackle agrees rather than be forced...
Stirling casts Guidance on Ironthar and readies his mace to help in the deed. It's hard to tell in the low light but Stirling is pale and does not relish this.
Ironthar would push Krackle of to the side if he can.
8 Athlethic + 4 guidance = 12
”Move aside Krackle, these dragons are bred to kill and destroy! They aren’t gonna grow up to be a kobold like you, they will grow up like the one that destroy Greenest.”
"You don't know that! Even if it has been cultists raising them so far... they are still in the egg. Maybe once they hatch... if they have a good parent then they can be good?" He would plead
"A scorpion grows up stinging no matter who raises them," Zeds counters, walking after Krackle but no longer trying to interpose himself.
"Still, maybe we could shove them in a bag and make this decision later?" He offers. "Like some time when we're not skulking around the camp of crazy cultists?"
"They look pretty big... I'm sure we can figure out a way to move them out right? Maybe?" The kobold would suggest with his hands folded... his eyes wide pleading.
There is still 10A not explored yet.
Did I find nothing with my perception check or is the entrance to 10a the thing I found?
Stirling walks over to 10a and peaks in but does not enter. Using his light rock for light
There are stairs down to 10A and no one has gone there yet. Once you head down you see 5 large black eggs.
Stirling heads down sees the eggs then dashes back up the stairs to report his findings.
"Think we found the nest. Big black eggs 5 of them!"
Krackle would race forward and make his way towards the eggs. "wow really!?!" He would exclaim as he moved closer. He would extend his hand and place it on one of the eggs. Krackle feels a slight wobble of something alive inside the egg.
“I think we past that. Move aside Krackle. Let me destroy all the eggs.” says Ironthar.
Krackle do you let Ironthar try to destroy the eggs?
Krackle would turn and hold out his arms, dropping his torch and orb. "No! Don't! They... they are just babies inside.. baby dragons.... kind of like me..." He would beg, dropping to his knees...

Krackle tries to wiggle free in order to throw himself in front of the eggs.
acrobatics! 8
((Zed's Athletics check to grapple couldn't beat that even if he rolled a Nat 20 too so Krackle is free to throw his body where he may...))
Ironthar would push Krackle of to the side if he can.
