With the kobold apparently securing the door, Seraphina feels compelled to help her ally upstairs, coming up behind the rogue and nudging him aside to peek up the stairs and draw forth more Moonfire, unleashing two more beams towards the formidable enemy battling the red dragonborn.
Moonfire: 22 Force: 10 Moonfire: 18 Force: 10
If she realizes there is again fallen allies upstairs she would try to revive them once more and then retreat back down the stairs to allow the rogue and the kobbold to enter the fray.
Healing light: 3
If she is not able to heal Ixsas she would instead call upon the wrath of the Moonmaiden to push the elf down the stairs.
(Telekinetic Shove, Str save 16 or pushed 5 ft. if possible making him fall down the stairs)
Seraphina's second blast of Moon fire penetrates Dralmorrer defenses.
((OOC: @Weathervision - Did Dralmorrer just cast Shield again? I expected both beams to hit since Dralmorrer's Shield from post #3510 expired on his turn in round 13.))
Ixsas's eyes flutter open again. By some divine grace, he is still not dead even though two of Dralmorrer's bodyguards still loom over him. The red dragonborn is still fighting at the top of the stairs, but now the creature's wounds are openly bleeding. Ixsas cannot see Zeds or Krackle, and he's not sure whether they even survived the fight at the tower door downstairs. He knows that he'll never find out if Dralmorrer defeats the dragonborn and wins this fight. As his head clears, Ixsas remembers that he was trying to get on the other side of the guards for some reason. He glances across the room and sees that all of their enemies are between him and the dragonborn. Ixsas is filled with a certainty that Kossuth placed him here for this moment. The Dragon Queen's cult shall not prevail!
Ignoring his wounds, Ixsas suddenly leaps to his feet, a fervent look on his face. (Perhaps the barbarian's rage has infected him too?) Grasping the holy symbol of Kossuth that hangs from his neck, he exclaims in a ringing voice: "May Kossuth's Flame consume you all and burn the Dragon Queen's followers from His world!"
Movement: 15-ft to stand up from prone. Action: Cast spell (LVL 3 slot) Fireball, centered at a spot on the wall 20-ft (map-down) away. (Basically, follow the line on the left side of Ixsas's token down until it meets the wall. I believe that the AoE will then cover all 4 opponents without affecting Ixsas or Thrax.) Each creature in a 20-ft radius sphere from that point must roll a DC 15 DEX save or take damage: 33 (fire) (or 16.5 (fire) damage on a successful save). Free Action: Equip his shield and grit his teeth for the attacks that follow if the fireball does not kill the bodyguards.

(OOC: I forgot to add his reaction...)
Reaction: The first time it looks like one of the creatures is going to hit Ixsas, he'll use Warding Flare to impose disadvantage on the attack.
Zeds follows others. Partly because he doesn't want to be the first target, partly because he strikes best when he can be a bit stealthy, but also because he is further down the stairs than most if not all of the others. He had to retreat a bit to allow for Seraphina to act (not sure if she acted then retreated as well?) so Zeds is below the second floor even...
Once others are heading further up Zeds would quickly look to Krackle to make sure he still is protecting the door on the first floor and then would draw his bow and follow the others up...
How much movement for Zeds to go from his vague location on stairwell between 1st and 2nd floor to 3rd floor?
You say gargoyles but do we recognize them as creatures or do we think they are statues?
I'm assuming Zeds will let lose with an arrow if he can get to this floor but as he wouldn't be in front I'm holding off on that til I see just what movement he would have and such...
Back behind Dralmorrer in the room, someone cries out, and flames explode into the room! When the flames fade and Dralmorrer flees, there's one man standing over the smoldering corpses of the guards on the other side of the 2nd floor room. He lets go of the glass or crystal amulet (in the style of a flame emblem), which hangs from a long cord around his neck. He wears scale mail and his shield is painted black with the same flame design blazoned on it. He sounded like a man, but he's short, barely 5'6", with narrow shoulders. His clothes are bold reds and yellows, though they are now dirty with mud from the swamp and stained red with his own blood. He wears a simple, pointed helmet (like this but without the plume) with a sort of headscarf to cushion it. The bright yellow headscarf also covers most of his face, only showing his bright green eyes and the dark skin around them. His armor and clothes are of a style that is not common in this part of the Sword Coast. (Something like this, but with a mace and dagger at his belt, not a spear. If you're familiar with the lands far to the south, he is dressed in the style of someone from Calimshan or one of the neighboring lands.)
((OOC: I'm still figuring out Ixsas's action this round, but since he was nearly 30-ft away from the stairs at the end of round 14, I think that he can barely make it back to the stairs this round. He won't be able to join you on the 3rd floor until next round.))
As the afterimage of the Fireball fade from Ixsas's eyes, he looks with satisfaction at the charred corpses of the cultists in front of him. Dralmorrer escaped up the spiral staircase, but he also looked badly injured. Ixsas intones: "Praise be to Kossuth! His Fire shall cleanse the world of this cult!"
Once the others move up to the 2nd floor or continue up the stairs to the 3rd floor, he's relieved to see that Zeds and Krackle are still alive. He cautions and reminds them (and their two new apparent allies): "Take Dralmorrer alive if you can so that we can question him. But be careful! This tower stands alone: unless Dralmorrer has a secret escape route upstairs, he's certainly leading us into another ambush."
Through dull, heavy-lidded eyes, Thrax expects the death blows to begin raining down on his body. Outnumbered and outmatched, the cultists have torn his body to shreds. Scales dangle like ribbons, and blood gushes onto the floor forming a puddle. As he slumps to one knee and his nictitating membranes begin to close, a sudden conflagration erupts on the other side of the room.
Thraxinthos shields his face, expecting the flames to roll over him, but they fall short of his battered and bloodied form. Amazed by this abrupt deliverance on the cusp of a dishonourable, unseemly end, he begins to breathe the name of his patron when he hears devotions spoken to another. Kossuth? The blood loss must be worse than he thought - he shakes his head groggily and rises to his feet once more. All around him are the blackened and blistered remains of the cultists, and he watches as Dralmorrer flees with his tail between his legs.
"Coward..." The dragonborn rumbles. He shows his distaste, the pool of expectorate he ejects steaming and flecked with pink. "Come back and face me, worm."
He pants for breath, gathering himself and his gaze falls upon the short, yellow-masked man. As the peculiar fellow speaks, realisation soon comes. "Saviour." Thrax breathes, puzzled but nevertheless in awe. "You saved me."
Seconds pass in silence, but eventually his head tilts upward, recalling the retreat of his prey. "Dralmorrer. That is his name? Yes. Ambush. Coward." Thrax says, moving closer to the stairs but not ascending them. "There is a woman here with me. Follower of Selune. Seraphina. And little strange ones. Like you. A kobold and an unscaled."
Zeds reaches the second floor and pauses there as he notices the others are not advancing yet. He takes a moment to more securely tuck the mask he had been wearing in a vain attempt to persuade the lizard/frog mob earlier and then takes a moment to catch his breath as well.
"As we're resting the head mojo caster grand pubah of the castle is up there fortifying," Zeds notes. "And a good chance a mob of lizardfolk and bulywugs will be crashing through the first floor door any moment." He pauses to look around at the others and notes most of them are in even worse shape than he is. He frowns and shrugs and then leans against the wall. "Just sayin'."
"I'm Zeds," he says offhandedly. "The Kobold watching the door downstairs is Krackle. That one over there is Ixsas. We're uh... storming the castle, I guess. Kind of meant for it to just be a look-see about what was up with this place but then, you know, shyt happened." As he waits to see if they are going to explain themselves further Zeds starts doing a mental inventory of his, well, his inventory...
"I'm a Harper, by the way," he says as he scrambles in his pack for a moment and then pulls out a Harper's pin. "So, um... you can trust me..." It sounds kind of lame but if they were captives of the castle then maybe they are on the side of good?
"Oh, and I have some oil. Actually a decent amount of it. Maybe we could just chuck it all into the room up there and set it ablaze? Maybe we get lucky..."

Dralmorrer stays standing and Zeds is back on the stairs.
Both of Thrax's attacks miss.

Dralmorrer takes the brunt of the attack. He is bloodied.
Dralmorrer
Disengage action
Movement 30ft - He moves up the spiral stairs to the 3rd floor and further into that room.
Round 15
The party is up. Post when able.
3rd floor
Blue square is the large telescope for this astronomy tower. The 3rd floor is domed, and the room height is 30ft.
There are 4 gargoyles in this room attached to the wall 10ft from the floor.
Dralmorrer has full cover. It takes 10ft of movement to go upstairs from the 2nd floor. If on the 1st floor 20ft of movement.
Zeds follows others. It would take Zeds 15ft of movement to reach the 3rd floor.
