Everyone finally breathes a sigh of relief. Governor Nighhill starts ordering the guards and able townsfolk to find anything salvageable and to begin burying the dead. He ask Sterling and Eadyan Falconmoon to tend to the wounded.
Krackle would quickly tear some cloth from his bedroll and begin trying to wrap up Zeds wounds. He had experience trying to tend to wounds with nearly no supplies but wasn't very good at it.
Zeds is fine being coma-boy for a few hours. He knew it was a losing battle going into it and he'll be happy to have beaten the odds and wake up eventually.
If no one moved Zeds to a proper bed, Krackle would have struggled and scraped until he managed to drag him over towards Krackle Jr. and would prop sitnhim up against the side of the resting giant lizard. He would then toss another ration to the lizard and give him a base rub before laying his pack next to the large creature and sleeping on top of the bag.
“Ahh, get over yourselves! It’s just a flesh wound,” Zeds complains. “But me a pint and I’ll have another go at the dried up stain of a shit!”
Zeds grunts and groans perhaps say otherwise any time he tries to move that night but after a hood-ish nights sleep he’s more or less back to his usual self.
“What I needed was a bit more reach,” Zeds explains in the morning. “Going with two blades was a good idea, it was them being daggers that was my problem. If I’d of had a couple of short swords, perhaps…”
It is soon morning, and the townsfolk are doing what they can to rebuild their lives while some are lost in grief. Most are without a home and most of the town is burnt wreckage. The smell of smoke still lingers in the air.
Governor Nighhill gathers the party to his study. "As Governor I thank each of you for your valiant efforts last night. I am asking for you aid again to find the raider camp as they left an easy trail to follow towards the northeast. As reward I am willing to pay the party 250gp apiece. I want to know where the camp is sited, how many raiders are there, who their leaders are, what’s motivating these attacks, and where they plan to strike next. If you recover valuables that were stolen from the town, I would like them returned, but regardless I will do my best to arrange a reward from what’s left of the town treasury. Recovering treasure, however, is a lesser goal when compared to the other objectives."
There is a knock at the door. Nighhill says "Come in"
A young man on the mend, but still limping enters the room. Short stubble like hair, dark complexion, and wearing simple clothing that speaks to a life within monastery. "I am sorry to interrupt your meeting, Governor. I am Nesim Waladra and I ask you to send someone after those raiders. I am a monk from Berdusk. I was traveling from Candlekeep back to Berdusk and stopped for the night in Greenest. My fellow monk Leosin Erlanthar and I battled the raiders, and I was able to make it to the keep, but not my friend. He is a reckless fool, but still my friend. I have searched all of Greenest and have found only his broken quarterstaff. Leosin has been investigating these raiders for months. I fear that he might have tried to infiltrate their group when they retreated, or worse, was captured and carried away as a prisoner. No one understands these bandits better than he does, and his knowledge will be invaluable against them. When you find their camp, please look for any sign that Leosin is there. One of my brothers has already departed for Berdusk to bring back help, but it will be many days before help arrives. Anything you can do before then would be a godsend."
Nesim then gives the party a detailed description of Leosin as a dark-haired half elf in monk attire.
Governor Nighhill scratches his chin in thought "Yes this Leosin could be an asset, add finding him to one of the objectives if your willing to undertake this task."
Krackles jaw would fall open at the mention of 250 gold. He had never seen that much coin in his life. "umm Yes! I... I will help however I can." He would say before looking to the others. He would then turn to look at the Govenor once more. "Will we be paid now? So that we can use that coin to buy things? Things that may help us on your mission?"
"The reward is for after the completion of the task. As for gear I have spoken with Morahn Goldhand and he is willing to offer some basic gear such as rations or rope." says Tarbaw Nighhill.
“Track and locate, that seems doable,” Zeds agrees. “Infiltrating and getting names of leaders and plans and freeing hostages, that sounds a bit more of a reach,“
“I’m certainly not opposed to gathering whatever intel we can as we track down their base but…” Zeds looks around a bit desperate. “Like Nesim said, his friend Leosin knew these bandits and is still missing. If he can’t infiltrate undetected then what hope do we have!”
"I said I'm willing to help," Zeds chimes in defensively. "Alls I'm saying is lets not overcommit to what we can do..."
Zeds turns to Governor Nighhill before continuing. "We'll do our best to track them to their base. We'll take a few hostages of our own and do some interrogating if the opportunity allows. We'll take a look at the situation and see if we can do anything more... But I am making no promises. Far as I am concerned the main goal is to find their camp and report back to you it's location. If we can do more without endangering that goal too much we'll consider it. I'm not signing up for a suicide mission though so I cannot promise you more than that."

Stirling runs over and pushes Krackle aside.
We all have our rolls friend give me space, im out of spells ill have to do this manually. Go see if there are any potions left.
Medicine 19
Stirling bandages and cleans the wounds.
I think he is safe to move. Let's get him back inside.
Depending on how late it is Stirling will help who he can till sleep overpowers him.
He will rise just before dawn and perform services for the Morning Lord.
Krackle would have moved out of the way and let Sterling take care of bandaging Zeds and would have helped to move him ince sterling said it was safe.
“He’s a brave man. I hope he makes it. He save the town, that’s a bravery worth of being sung in taverns from years to come.”
Ironthar sits beside Zeds bed taking care of his own wounds and watching the rogue’s recovery.

"We don't know what is the fate of Leosin. He could still be scouting the camp. There is no way to know unless you try." says Govorner Nighhill.
"enough rations to feed my noble steed?" Krackle asks while looking towards the giant lizard.
"Yes, enough for your giant lizard for 5 days" says Governor Nighhill.
