The dwarf furrows his brows in though as he looks to his belt. In the end he nods towards Nisha "You can have my ID card, but me belt stays with me as it was personally made for me. Of course there are guards. The Thermal Plant is the sole source of all the electricity for the Hupperdook. The guards make sure no one wanders in uninvited. As to how many I cannot say. Sometimes there are less while other times it seems you can't turn a corner without bumping into a guard." says the Dwarf.
"Have any pictures of people that work there?" he asks, as he could just disguise himself.
Laine nods as the dwarf speaks, muttering about ice as he opens his spell book. He spends the remainder of their time scribbling in his spell book and muttering to himself. Near the end of the hour he mutters slightly louder, ".. and then we change the rune to.. that should work..".
"Thank you... err... what was your name again?"Nisha smiles politely at the dwarf as she tries to remember if he had introduced himself earlier, before nodding pointedly at Nathaniel or Laine so one of them gets to look at the id card, if they plan on using any illusions later.
She would then spend some time attuning to the cat head figurine and taking care of whatever burns and wounds she suffered from the nasty flying lava monsters.

Gavyn spends the hour attuning to his tattoo needle and centering his mind on the fighting techniques he has learned with his trainer.
"How many people work at the facility? Will we be another face in the crowd or does everyone know everyone?" the tortle says at some point, clearly self-conscious about his minority status in the city.

"Approximately 100 people work at the Thermal Plant and no I have no pictures as I am not in the habit of carrying any. My name is Barguff. Of course, some are more familiar with other workers while others tend to mind their own business." says Barguff.
The pale winged Tiefling motions for the white-bearded dwarf to hand the ID card to Laine, hoping he could use some magical disguise to take the role of a foreman to their little motley group of Power Plant workers.
Nathaniel will then try to make himself comfortable in the bunker, resting with the others, then a bit reluctantly putting on some of the old clothes to be a bit more inconspicuous at the Power Plant. He is the ready to proceed with the mission.
As he hears they are resting Kaelen slumps down against the wall he was leaning against and begins to just relax. He just takes in the information they are gaining and remains quiet.
Let me know if anyone else intends to wear the old clothing besides Nathaniel. Once rested the party sets off again towards the Thermal plant and an hour later you finally arrive at your destination.
Machinery hums and clangs as you come near, and the metal double doors of the entrance stand before you guarded by a pair of Gnome guards armed with spears.
Do you approach the guards or try a different approach?
Before really coming close to the Thermal plant Nathaniel would offer to make a quick aerial sweep of the surroundings to look for other potential entrances to the plant.
Before they leave for the plant, Nisha would put some worker's overalls, after all she doesn't want to raise unnecessary alarm with her burnt clothes. She nods at the tiefling's suggestion to have a look beforehand, and tries to blend in and look around herself if possible.

Aeran Dormaris - L2 Paladin on his way to Phandelver
Nathaniel flies around, but the smoke and haze from the sweltering heat causes him not to see much beyond the metal exterior of the Thermal plant. There seems to be only a few small thick glass windows dotted around the facility.
Nathaniel returns from his reconnoitering and informs the others of the lack of other easy access points to the Thermal plant, suggesting Laine would take the lead and get them past the gnomish security guards.
(Nate would try to support and give help action to any deception attempts needed.)
Sensing the tiefling's eyes on her, Nisha chimes in, "It would make your job here much easier too..." (Persuasion: 26)
"Tell us more about the Plant... do you know if there are any guards?"

After resting Kaelen follows in Nathaniel's footsteps and puts on some of the old clothing before heading out.
As they see the guards he looks at his companions "What's the game plan?"

Nisha's path is block by the flowing lava unless she wishes to scale up the side of the Thermal plant.
Laine begrudgingly puts on the old workers clothes.
"Just act like we belong here and they will probably not say anything to us."
Nathaniel returns from his reconnoitering and informs the others of the lack of other easy access points to the Thermal plant, suggesting Laine would take the lead and get them past the gnomish security guards.

Nisha doesn't feel particularly adventurous to venture out on her own, so she goes back to the rest of the group, ready to follow Laine.
