Laine with his sharp eyes notice a clockwork amulet underneath a cabinet. It must have fallen under there for quite some time as there is a fine layer of dust on it.

"The cup is warm, I suppose Huron was here recently."The pale winged tiefling as he touches the cup then moving on to search the room. He is about to snatch up the small cat head sculpture but as the half-elf reaches for it too, he simply smiles at her and retracts his hand. "You take good care of it Ms Nasha, like the other things we found, it was probably stolen by the suspicious priestess, and there is nothing wrong with having something for our troubles right?" He says quietly to the half-elf with a quick wink. "She's not here, let's continue." He then says to the others, heading on to search the rest of the second floor.

Lainepicks up the amulet giving it a once over before sticking it in his pocket. He'll take a closer look at it when they have the time to spare. He exits the room and looks to the other doors that remain locked.
"Pick your poison,"he says to no one in particular.

"Someone's downstairs."The pale tiefling quietly says to his associates back in the room. "Lets head down again. Quick and quiet." He adds, ready to follow along, as sneaky as possible.

Nisha gives Nathaniel a small, knowing smile, before she stuffs the cat head sculpture inside her pocket. At first sight, the sculpture looked like it might be a part of something else, but the rogue doesn't think they have enough time to speculate, so she just follows Laine outside.
"Well, let's just continue with the second one, " Nisha shrugs, as she gets closer to the next room. After what happened with the suits of armour, this time she is going to inspect the door with the carved owls in the wood, before attempting any lockpicking.
"You know, for a house that is supposedly being broken into at this moment, it is suspiciously quiet, " the half-elf mutters absent-mindedly, as she takes a closer look at the intricate work.

Nathaniel quietly makes his way downstairs to see 5 people dress in dark attire ransacking the house. Knocking over bookshelves and flipping furniture in search of the clockwork key. Near the entrance is a hard to discern being with its outline rippling as it hides itself in some form of partial invisibly.
Nisha was clearly so impressed by the intricate carvings of owls on the second door that she didn't realise Nathaniel has left. So she leaves the door and quietly follows in the direction he has gone.

"Why are we-" Laine trails after them as Nisha moves off. He stops talking as he realizes they are no longer alone here. Then whispering to his companions, "We need to keep looking for the keys."
Seeing Nisha and Laine following him quietly, the pale tiefling looks up and smiles briefly at his associates, quietly inclining his head towards the dark-clad people apparently tossing the place, hoping the Tortle and the Minotaur was coming too. Their mission was to stop the robbery and while the tiefling wouldn't see violence as a first resort it seemed inevitable with the robbery in progress downstairs. Still hopefully hidden, Nathaniel will try to make use of their apparent opportunity to win half the battle by initiating it from a hidden position, hopefully catching their enemy off guard. He had a feeling the partial invisible person by the door would be a formidable adversary though so this was no time to pull any punches.
(Nate would want to attack before anyone gives away their position) (And no worries 1mpe7us, posting at the same times happens all the time, we'll just have to roll with it :-)
Kaelen just follows his companions as quietly as possible. This seemed to be their comfort zone more than his and as such would act like a tourist following a tour guide. As they discover all the various items he just remains quiet looking at his companions and their deductions. As the three head downstairs he follows at a safe distance that he wouldn't give them away with his brutish figure and demeanor.
Nisha uses the opportunity to observe the scene unfolding in front of their small group, while Nathaniel is making his own plans. The rogue scans the surroundings, noting if there are any other potential points of entry in the room apart from the one her group just came from, then shifting her attention to the mysterious creature with the partial invisibility. "This is probably what was in the bookstore with Ebar Hall, not the Judicator woman as I thought earlier, " she thinks.

Hoping the others are ready to join the coming fray, the pale winged tiefling from his hidden position swiftly curses the closest thug before unleashing a radiant beam of eldritch crackling force against it.
He then lets his bloodred bat-like wings carry him up into cover on the second floor, making a quick bow to Gavyn and Kaelen, allowing them to storm down to deal swift justice to these wretched criminals.
Gavynis idly examining the space when he turns around and everyone is gone. Confused, he follows after his team, stumbling into the robbery scene unprepared. He scrambles for his shield and axe as he catches up, still some distance behind Kaelen.
"I should be the one in front," he mutters, more to chastise himself than as an admonishment of his team.

"What is this on the hand?" Nisha squints, trying to discern what the green liquid on the creature's hand could be. Before she can consider its possible origin, it becomes clear what Nathaniel plan was as a radiant blast emerges towards one of the thugs.
With a soft curse under her breath, the half-elf pulls out the shortbow again. As she pull the bowstring, she points an arrow at one of the tugs that she has a clear vision of, then releases.

Nathaneil intently listens to any sounds, and he hears a soft heavy thud coming from somewhere far below. Similar to something heavy falling over.
