"I suspect one of the bridges is intended to drop unsuspecting trespassers into the depths below." Templeton will help Nari look (for advantage on the roll) "50/50 chance of taking out intruders if they don't know the correct bridge."
As you look at the two bridges, Nari and Mayhew perceive that Templeton is right. The south bridge is indeed rigged to collapse if anything over 50 pounds gets on it.
Everyone roll a Deception (CHA) check as you feel something buzzing inside your head.
A strange creature with one large eye in the middle of its face and spines all over its back cautiously peers out from around the rough stone column on the other side of the chasm. Its large talons hold onto the column as if trying to push it aside to get a better look at you without leaving its hiding place.
She frowns, putting a hand to her head. "We take the northern bridge, the south one looks.. unsteady." she comments, moving towards it and then noticing the creature. "With haste." ------------------------- Deception: 5
As you begin to cross the bridge, you hear in your heads, "Ssarnak cannot let you pass." The creature moves to the opposite side of the bridge and begins fiddling with the supports. Nari, if you are in the lead, roll a DEX save.

Mayhew can go either first or second, since he's beyond (thanks to False Life) full HP so far. If our warrior wants to go first, he'll let her.

As you begin to cross the bridge, you hear in your heads, "Ssarnak cannot let you pass." The creature moves to the opposite side of the bridge and begins fiddling with the supports. Nari, if you are in the lead, roll a DEX save.
