Aoufie will quickly shake off the ice from his fur and uses a handkerchief to wipe off the accumulated frost on the cittern. "I will not give whoever this maligned entity the talismans Aunty Grym tried to hide with her own life. It seems to appreciate us being outside. Perhaps we can break the frozen waterfall and get back into the cave. There is defensive magic inside." whispers Aoufie.
Kora stands there a moment, letting her breath and heart rate return to normal. This. This creature and his minions killed their mother. Or at least were partly responsible. Anger boils throughout the druid as she stands there, completely bedraggled and soaked with a thin layer of ice covering her that she is barely aware of.
She hears Aoufie, but his words don't really register. The siblings will recognize the feral woman that has never really changed from the child that they knew. Raising a hand up and pointing her fingers to a point just above the skull that is suspended in the air, her eyes ablaze as she breaks open the clouds above him creating a silvery beam of pale light that shines upon the skull.
Kora then lowers her arm and backs up towards the waterfall "defensive magic? are you sure? I thought it was magic just to hide the chest." she finally responds to Aoufie.
Anthony's words finally reach Kora's mind, "What do you mean, you're already dead? That supposed to be some kind of joke?" she asks as she never takes her eyes off Kazhad-nei.
"No one's dying, Anthony is just being dramatic. But if this person wants what we have, well.. They better come get them, cause I'm not forking anything over."
"Figure of speech." He mumbled, maintaining his focus on the enemy. No one's going to die? People had already died. They'd just gotten done talking to one dead woman and now another was in their faces.
Seeing an opportunity to strike against misty figure, as quickly as he can, Anthony moves up a bit to close the distance between him and the mist. As he gets within thirty feet of the mist, he calls upon his the strength of his patron, lashing out magically at the corrupt essence of the nearby undead ((I'll let you RP it out)). His divine surge of energy blasts away some of the closest mist, revealing some of the foes before you.
You all see two sorts of beings, the most recognizable of them being zombies. Several zombies stand silently their fog cover is blown away, their bodies in various stages of decomposition. You notice with alarm that most of the zombies look rather fresh; their bodies haven't decayed for the most part. Most of them still have their limbs attached and are covered in open sores that ooze a malevolent black sludge.
The other foes are something you've never seen before. They appear humanoid in form, but that's where the similarities end. You see that they hover a few feet off the ground. Their pale bodies appear to be made out of condensed mist. They're constantly dissolving into the air and reforming again with slightly different features, but the one thing that remains the same is the hateful, burning pinpricks of hellish light within their empty eye sockets. These must be the remnants the floating figure mentioned.
As Anthony's assault washes over the first row of undead, 3 zombies and 2 remnants turn around and begin fleeing from the group, their foul essence corrupted.
A lance of lunar power sears the floating figure, engulfing its dark form in radiant flames. It curses, drifting out of its area of effect. As it does, Kora's Faerie Fire ends. The figure hisses, "Have it your way then." At her words, the undead lurch forward, approaching as silently as death itself.

Anthony initiative 18 (adv from vigilant blessing)
Suddenly motivated to move more quickly than he usually bothers trying to, Anthony lurches stiffly toward a patch of fog with a few creatures he can see thanks to the Fairie fire, assuming there are more near and hoping they’ll be easier to spot up close. He mutters a prayer of Ilmater. “This is your thing yeah? Little help maybe?” To the big man’s surprise, a subtle pulse of light, paler even than Kora’s moonlight, wafts out from him. Zombies and mistlings hiss at him and begin to retreat.
“Huh. That works for me. Thanks.’ his surprised prayer of gratitude for the divine intervention.
“Let them run for now.” He warns the others. There were enough standing their ground to tangle with.
Akyan braces himself against freezing gust, the ice on his cloths and skin cracks as he moves to glare up at the hideous skull in the sky. Is this Azalin? Or is she just an underling? He grits his teeth. No time to worry about that now. He watches his siblings, planning to base his movements off theirs. "Try to stay in a group!"He shouts, "Don't let the mist separate us!"
When Anthony rushes forward, Akyan does as well. Two silver-green blades materialize in his hands as he rushes forward.
Zathonis there one second but disappears in a cloud of feathers the next, appearing 30ft further forward already in a run toward one of the strange mist creatures, sword coming down.

Aoufie plays a more somber tune on the Cittern and says, "You are a monstrosity of what you once were." his words is laced with magic as he cast vicious mockery
He aims this insult at the nearest zombie that did not flee.

Zathon slashes downward with his blade, a skillful strike that would have killed an ordinary foe, but these mist creatures are anything but ordinary. The misty creature parts around your blade, reforming an instant later. As it does, you hear a faint whimper that penetrates your mind, "Please. Please kill me."
At Aoufie's enchanted words, one of the zombies across the pond seizes violently. You see its eyes explode from the psychic pressure, black sludge spraying from the wound.
Incorporeal body still sizzling from the lance of lunar energy piercing the night, Kazahd-nie focusses her malevolent embers of eyes upon Kora, her glowing pinpricks in her eyes flaring with anger. She raises a skeletal hand, and the mist around funnels and spirals around her appendage, forming an incorporeal spear throbbing with dark power. Grunting slightly, she hurls the javelin towards Kora. Mist streams from the weapon as it soars through the air.
Attack: 10 Damage: 8 necrotic damage, and you must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or your hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. You die if this effect reduces your hit point maximum to 0.
Also, if it hits, you need to make a concentration check or lost concentration on Moonbeam. It will be a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 10 or half the damage you take, whichever is higher.
Staying close to Anthony, Akyan glares at Kazahd-nie. She's the one controlling these things. Taking her out might make these creatures fall back, but can he hurt her? As he thinks this, the skeletal being launches a misty javelin at Kora. He grits his teeth, might as well see what he can do before the Zombies get to close. Growling, he sends his right blade soaring towards Kazahd-nie, followed closely by the one in his left hand. (Reach is 60ft, so I believe I'm in range)
Following Kora's lead, Anthony likewise summons a beam of moonlight down upon Kazahd-nie and carefully moves a little closer so as not to lose his footing. "Tell me if you need healing. I might not notice."
DC 12 con save vs 5 radiant dmg (2 on save) - also has to make the save or take radiant damage at the start of each turn that it remains in the beam.
Kora watches as the skeletal hand in front of her conjures a dark spear throbbing with dark energy. As the mist swirls around it and it is hurled at her, she's able to step away from it, but can feel the power of it nonetheless.
As Anthony creates a moonbeam that cuts through the dark clouds and illuminates the skull again, she smiles a bit slyly and turns to him, "I see we have learned some similar tricks as we have been away. Looking forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve." as he says to let him know about healing, she nods.
Raising her arms in the rain, the icy film having been removed by the rain by now, she manipulates her fingers to move her moonbeam over Kazahd-nie once again.
CON save 14 or 6radiant dam, half if saved.
