Akyan's psychic blade slashes through the shade, eliciting a growl of pain from the spectral woman. She manages to drift to the side, dodging the second blade as it soars past her. Her defensive movement, however, turned out not to be the best thing she could have done as she dodges into Anthony's Moonbeam. Her shadowy figure hisses and steams as the holy light burns away at her corrupt being, but she manages to resist the spell with her unholy strength. She looks at Anthony smugly, but her arrogance is burned away as Kora's beam slides over top of her. She lets out a cry of pain as both beams bore through her body.
Two of the remnants begin drifting away from the combat, fleeing before the power of Anthony's god ((remnants 4 & 5)). The remnant engaged with Zathon ((remnant 1)) locks eyes with him, the red embers in its sockets burning with insanity. Suddenly, it throws its head back, mouth opening to release an agonized screech as a flurry of limbs erupt from its chest and stomach. Some of the limbs looked like clawed human arms, but the majority of them are nonsensical: fanged tentacles, gaping maws attached to fleshy protuberances, and hooved legs naming some of them. They swarm around Zathon, trying to quench their pain with the warmth of his soul.
Attack: 17 Damage: 8 necrotic damage, and you must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or your hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. You die if this effect reduces your hit point maximum to 0.
The other remnants ((remnants 2, 3, and 6)) swoop across the pond, closing the distance in an instant. Their bodies also burst asunder with cacophonous wailing, incorporeal limbs flailing all over the place. Luckily, they seemed to use all of their movement to close the distance. Remnant 2 stops by Anthony, Remant 3 stops at Akyan, and Remnant 6 stops at Jared.

3 of the zombies ((zombies 8-10)) begin shuffling away, rebuked by divine command. Two of the zombies ((zombies 1 and 2)) shamble towards Zathon, gaping jaws revealing rotting teeth and pustules oozing with dark sludge. Raise rotting fists and try to slam Zathon into submission.
Slam Attack: 9 Damage: 2 bludgeoning damage
Slam Attack: 17 Damage: 7 bludgeoning damage
The rest of the hoard lurches forward, driven by an insatiable hunger ((they move forty feet, leaving 20 between the main group and them)).
Zathonseems to be handling himself rather well despite being cornered by enemies, raising his shield or sword at just the right moment or side stepping an attack entirely. His combat experience being evident, but it's rather difficult to get an attack off with his sword given the swarm around him but he tries to slice at the incoming zombies.
Zathon’s blade sinks into the zombie ((zombie 1)), and a flash of powerful white light erupts from his blade. He sees that the flesh around the wound disintegrate as he pours power into his strike. The zombie stumbles from your attack, and it reels even further as Aoufie’s lashes out with magical insults.
Kazahd-nei wails as she is scorched by the twin beams, an unearthly cry that raises your hackles. She drifts 60 feet away from the group, her body trailing luminous energy. Noticing that Zathon seems to be a very capable warrior, she focuses her wrath on him. She stretches a blackened finger towards and chants in a foul language. Suddenly, Zathon feels her will imposing itself upon him, urging him to betray his allies.

Good, he can hurt that witch. The drow thinks as he flexes his hands, re-summoning his blades. However, his focus is drawn away from the spectral woman when the ghostly remnants close in on him and Anthony. "Guess I'll have to test my blades on these things."He thinks narrowing his eyes. Luckily, it seems like Anthony and Kora don't have any problem harming Kazahd-nei. Those two have definitely gained some new skills in past few years. Re-focusing his mental energy at hand, his two translucent blades form into two short curved swords and he slashes at remnant 3.
Unable to do anything about the remnant on him, Anthony risks an attack and follows the retreating Kazahd-nei in body and with his moonbeam, shifting the beam 60' back over her and advancing 30' in an effort to keep in range of the spell.
He's to distracted by trying to keep an eye on everyone to see if anyone needs healing to give Kora more than a grunt and a nod in response to her comment.

Watching Kazahd-nei retreat, Kora smiles, even if the shriek emanating from her raises the hair on the back of her neck. Following Anthony's example and steering clear of the oncoming enemies, Kora moves 15' to follow him as she also moves her beam 60' to follow the skull as well.
Seeing the way the remnants attack turns her stomach, but she pushes on.
Akyan hacks and slashes at the remnant on him, his psychic blades easily cutting the creatures faint body. After his second slice, the creature explodes with a piercing wail. Mist explodes outward from the creature, almost knocking the drow back a few feet from the force of it. Blinking his eyes, Akyan can see hear and see glowing fragments of memories fading into the mist around him. He sees scenes of terror and bloodshed: villages being massacred and razed to the ground, weeping mothers clinging to the still-warm bodies of her family, occult rituals that flay the souls out of innocent people. You get the feeling that these remnants are the stitched-together fragments of peoples' souls that suffered agonizing deaths under the floating specter's command. It looks like this particular remnant finally found the rest it sought after.

Suddenly presented with living flesh, the zombies that were shuffling towards the group turn their hungry gaze upon Kora and Anothy as they move forward to continue frying Kazahd-nei with their magical light. Three of them converge on Anthony ((zombies 3, 4, and 5)) while the other two ((zombies 6 and 7)) go for Kora.

As Zathon manages to resist her magic, she angrily cries out, "NO! Curse you, elf! By the time I'm done with you, you're going to wi-" Her words are cut off by an agonized screech as both Kora's and Anthony's spells glide over her. In response, Zathon cleaves a zombie in twain, its rotting body falling into two different pieces.
The light overwhelms Kazahd-nei, consuming her shadowy body with radiant flames that purge the world off her darkness. With a wail, she sinks to the ground, her body streaming radiant wisps of energy. The undead around you suddenly stiffen, halting their assault.
Kazahd-nei collapses to the ground, and you see that the darkness around her form dissolves away, leaving a charred skeleton crumpled on the ground. You can hear her faint, spectral voice floating around you in the mist as her essence retreats from this plane. She whispers, "You may have defeated me now, but we have one in the end. Endless and Eternal is his name. He knows the future while dwelling in the past. The Slayer of Hope will rise soon, and existence will kneel before him."
"We will meet again, but before I go, consider yourselves lucky that Strahd will kill you before my master can. Even now, the Betrayer draws you into his realm." She cackles maniacally as fades away.
Your triumph is heralded by a flash of lighting and crack of thunder overhead. The undead stand before you still (floating in the case of the remnants), their hungry malevolence fading from their eyes.
Kora, after a few moments of only hearing rain and the echoes of thunder, you feel your bracers suddenly flare with reassuring warmth. You spot that the claw marks on the underside of the green bracers begin softly emitting a very faint gray glow. The heat dies down slightly, but they still radiate a gentle heat.
All around you, the obscuring mist still swirls about you, but it seems to have lost its predatory edge. It begins slowly filling in the vale you're in, no longer held in form as a perimeter by Kazahd-nei's sinsister will. Raindrops plunge through the fog as it gently, almost curiously engulfs the group and the undead.
