Screaming in agony and blind rage, the vampire springs forward and tackles Zathon, bringing his claws and fangs to bear.

 Since that one hit, he will grapple Zathon instead of dealing damage. While grappled, Zathon’s speed is 0, and he can attempt a DC 13 strength check to break free on his turn

Zathon shoves the vampire off of himself.

As Doru stumbles back with a hiss of frustration, the swings another heavy fist laden with maggots towards Anthony who stands protectively near the others 

Slam Attack: 18 Damage: 7 bludgeoning damage. If it hits, you must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or take an additional 6 piercing damage on a failed saving throw as maggots burrow into you. In addition, on a failed saving throw, you will take 1d6 piercing damage on the beginning of your turn. On a successful saving throw, you take no additional damage, and you can repeat this saving throw at the end of your turn.

With the maggots burrowing, he fought panic. With Doru still in the beam, Anthony left it where it was. "Little help" He whispered, trying to heal himself. Then he took a swing at the zombie in front of him, hoping to get it out of the way so they could focus on Doru.

((If he starts his turn in the moonbeam 4 radiant Con Save DC12 for half, healing word on himself for 5 and attack on zombie: AC 12 7 dmg ))

Aoufie has a sense of revulsion over the maggots, but does his best to help Anthony. "Hold on Anthony I got your back" 

He looks to the zombie and uses his magic laced words to hopefully strike fear into the creature while wracked by psychic pain.

Also if it fails it will do its best to run away from Aoufie.

The big man gives a nod of thank to h harengon as the two work together trying to create an opening. The crawling grubs make it difficult to concentrate. Might need to do something about that. "Probably goes without saying, but don't let the zombie bugs get on you." he warns the others.

Unlike his attempts against Doru , Aoufie’s spell takes hold against the rotting zombie. You see it reach for its head, letting out a strangled moan as psychic energy assaults it. At the climax of Aoufie’s spell, the zombie’s head explodes, spraying bits of decaying, gray flesh and maggots throughout the room. The headless corpse crumbles to a heap on the floor, its unnatural life stolen away from it. 

Despite your victory, you see the maggots writhing within the corpse pulsating in unison. They begin to stream from the corpse, seeking for a new host. The sodden grime and mud of the floor begins to squirm and writhe as more sickly white maggots begin to push through the soil, seeking your warmth and vitality as they transform the ground into a roiling carpet of hungry maws.

At the beginning of each of your turns, if you are in contact with the ground, you must succeed a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or take 2 piercing damage as maggots burrow into you. The floor is also considered difficult terrain, so movement is halved.

Still flanking Doru with Zathon, Kora-spider ignores the maggots as she attempts to bite him again, attack 12 and if that hits, damage 7.

Unfortunately, the maggots find her spindly legs and burrow through the tough skin of the spider.  She shakes her head as the feeling is just...disgusting.  

Akyan growls at the pain of the maggots chew through his leather boots and pierce his feet. Of course this simple task had to prove difficult. Doing his best to ignore the sensation of being eaten alive, he sends two blades towards Doru. If they can dispose of him, they can just leave this place. Someone else can deal with these nasty maggots.

Staggering under the salvo of blows, Dori cries out in pain. Tears streaming down his face, Doru lashes out at Zathon once more. “Please stop!” he cries out as he does, but you’re not sure if he’s talking to the group or himself.

Zathon swings his sword round, doing his best to ignore Doru's cries. However he used to be, he is no longer. The maggots rithe on the ground at Zathon's feet but can't get past his armor.

Doru stumble to the ground under the colossal blow, dark blood spraying out from his wound. His fouls blood sizzles on Zathon’s blade as it pulses with radiant energy. He unsteadily rises to a crouch, weeping as he does.

The maggots continue to rise from the ground, coming up to about your knees as they seek your flesh. The damage this time around will be 3 piercing damage.

The maggots make a feast of the cleric. His skill literally crawling with them as they burrow deeper. With a grunt, Anthony manages to keep his grip on the magic and stay on his feet somehow. He leaves the moonbeam where it is still shining on Doru who seems trapped and heals himself. Then, feeling death got a little too close, he calls out for some extra help. "Strength in suffering."  From his holy symbol, a dim glow emanates, giving him an extra boost to go with the healing as Ilmater's strength gives him something to lean on.

"Get them off him!" he yells at Duro, thinking the vampire controls the maggots.

Aoufie Con Save

"It had to be maggots" says Aoufie with disgust as he stomps his feet keeping the little blighters from getting to his skin. 

Seeing no way to injure all the maggots he focuses on Doru. 

Casting vicious mockery 

Doru needs to roll Wis Save DC 13

on fail take 1 psychic damage and disadvantage on his next attack. 

CON save for being on the ground... 2, the maggots continue to burrow into her and she dances her spider legs around trying to shake them.

With Doru crouched on the ground, Kora takes advantage of his position and goes for the bite again.  Attack 22, damage 8.  CON save 11 or 8 poison damage, half if saved.

Kora sinks her fangs in the vampire as radiant energy sears his flesh away. Despite his many injuries, he manages year again to throw off Aoufie’s magics.

With desperation written clearly on his features, Doru seems to realize that going after Zathon is getting him nowhere. He rounds on Jared and lashes out at him instead.

Zathon is undeterred, despite the maggots begining to get into his armor and nibble at him. He swings his sword at Doru as the spawn turns from him.

With Doru’s attention focused on Jared, Zathon see’s his opportunity to strike. Raising his weapon high, he channels his spark of divinity into his blade, causing the sword to burst aflame with radiant power. He lunges forward, his blade slashing down towards the vampire. As he strikes, a blinding burst of radiant energy explodes to engulf him like a star being born. Doru’s smoking husk falls to the ground as you each blink away the blinding light. The maggots stop squirming and feasting upon you as Doru falls silently to the ground. All is still as the maggots and Doru lose their spark of life.
