I climb the tree to get up out of reach of his sword. Another arrow is nocked before I take another shot at the archer.

Archer now realizes what a mistake he has made, now with the ranger out of his reach showering the arrows down. Taking up the bow was a viable option, but by the time the can tighten the string the elf will turn him into pin cushion. So he turns around, leaving Erlan in the branches and runs towards the Dragonborn, preparing to attack.

Attack roll: 21

Damage: 10

Crassus is going to respond to the Archer with his greataxe and he'll spend a Superiority Die to perform a Disarming Strike.

Attack: 24

Damage (regular and Superiority Die): 15+6=21

Strength Save (DC13): 7

Crassus will then spend a Bonus Action to recover 8 hit points with his Second Wind.

Then he'll just look around and see how the rest of his party is doing.

 

Violet flies out of melee reach and begins to whisper assaulting the captain with a myriad of voices.

Captain refuses to leave the sorceress alone. As she retreats, he follows, preparing yet another attack.

Up after Pict. From my vantage point, I draw down on the archer. An arrow flies toward him, as I pray for his death.

Pict sees how the battle can quickly turn sour and decides to shift the scales. He thrusts his arms upwards, as if calling upon a higher power. As he does that, Violet feels the strength returning to her lims. Healing Word restores 5 HP.

In the meantime, as Erlan tries and fails to hit the Archer, he and the Bandit Captain gang up on Crassus. Archer takes a swing at the warrior.

To hit: 10 (AC is 16);

Crassus is going to keep picking off the Archer

"Why couldn't you just listen?" a voice inside the captains mind asks. "Do you wanna die?"

Once again a whirl of winds flies Violet out of melee reach of the captain.

Callindra, if you want to persuade captain to give up, it's gonna take persuasion roll (with disadvantage because telepathy) or intimidation roll (with advantage) depending on how you phrase this.

DC is 20 in case of persuasion and 15 in case of intimidation.

Captain seems distressed. He is not used to hearing voices in his head, they confuse and anger him. He chooses to ignore them, hoping that once the battle is over, they will be gone as well. He takes another attack on Dragonborn.

 Pict observes the disarray of his allies and focuses his efforts on assisting his most vulnerable comrades. First, he concentrates, directing his will to move the moonbeam onto the Captain, then he mutters an incantation, concentrating on Crassus and casting healing word as a 2nd level spell.

Knowing my bow is bound to the archer until his death, I have no other choice than to continue the barrage of arrows against him. A deep breath in, then out. This better fell the bastard! Before the arrow is released, I cast hail of thorns on my arrow. As the arrow flies, thorns expand and grow from the tip of the arrow.

Attack: 15 Adv: 24 Damage: 9 piercing Sworn enemy damage: 9 Hail of thorns damage: 3

As thorns pierce his body, Archer want to draw his bow again and shoot the Ranger, but that would take too long. He continues his attack against Crassus.
