Moneo simply nods, one more thing to keep in mind with this hag. He then thanks the Hare again and looks to the others, ready to hop in a boat and head off.
Fa'ame watches with wonder and no small amount of amusement as Barreknar smashes the gourd. She keeps her mind and senses open to see if she can perceive any small flash of the memories as they pass... "Will they just... return to their original owners?"She asks, following Moneo as they make their way to the boat.

Eliaanore sighs. T'would have been nice to have a rabbit army, but mayhaps some things just cannot be, she laments unto herself.
...T'would only be after the boat has left the shore that she realizes she could've picked the harengon's ears about skills in Thievery. O' woe is she. She'll likely sulk for a good chunk of the boat trip.
You leave the harengon's behind (well most of them. You do have 2 with you piloting the skiff). "We will take you to Downfall, but then we will return. We do not wish to be near Slack-jaw any longer than necessary."
You make your way down a channel, fog getting thicker and thicker as you travel. Soon. the thick fog hangs heavy in the air, obscuring the area around you so that the world appears to have shrunk to roughly twenty feet in all directions. Before you, the waterway widens and the current slows, giving the impression that you have entered a lake. Croaking voices penetrate the fog, through which dark shapes appear, resolving into two rowboats. Manning the oars of each rowboat are two bullywugs. They speak as they approach, but only Fa'ameand Moneounderstand
"We are honored to be received in your home with such hospitality. My companions and I seek to learn about Downfall and all who dwell within. Can you accommodate us?"

Moneo looks back to the two who do not understand, and whispers, "It's ok.. they seem friendly." He then replies in Sylvan, "Well met," allowing Fa'ame to continue in her greeting.
Continuing in Sylvan: "Our king, Gullop XIX, would be honoured to make your acquaintance. I suggest that you head to the small dock nearby, make your way across the stepping stones, through the balloon factory and across the bridge to the gazebo where Gullop XIX holds court. Good day to you."
Moneo repeats the directions to himself, in common so everyone can understand, "across the stones... balloon factory... bridge... gazebo... court... got it!", and then back in Sylvan says, "Thanks guys! See ya soon!" Finally, back in common, to their hare guides he says, "drop us off at the dock please. Then go back and be good!"
In common, the bullywugs reply. "Our apologies. We didn't realise that some of you were not civilised. But the Satyr translated well for you." and they continue a leisurely row away from you. The harengons do drop you at the dock (just next to the boat at the top of the current map. Will get an updated map in my next post probably) Looming above the ramshackle wooden pier is a balloon anchored by four thick ropes tied around wooden posts driven deep into the mire. The balloon’s bladder expands and sags at irregular intervals as swamp gas fills it briefly before leaking out through various tears in its patchwork fabric. A bullywug stands near the top of a ladders and is using a long silver needle and a spool of catgut to sew up one of the openings. A second bullywug stands at the foot of the ladder to steady it. Huddled nearby are three giant frogs whose long tongues snap up passing insects. There is a curved path leading up from the pier heading into the fog
Moneo carefully hops across the stone steps towards the balloon factory and looks up towards the bullywug making the repairs and says, "What happened to your balloon? Such a shame to see a flying machine in such disrepair. We actually came across another one way back that way,"pointing in the general direction to the balloon where they found the knightly dragon friend, "though it too was stuck and unable to fly."
The one holding the ladder replies without looking at you “Hmmm. You should probably see the king" They point along the path. They seem to be mostly ignoring you, too focussed on the repair, so don't answer any of your questions.
Eliaanore simply follows along, still pouting somewhat over her own poor planning. Her mood lifts, if slightly, at the sight of bullywugs. Yet another thing she'd only been allowed to see in books.
The faint smile that forms on her face is more akin to a childlike wonder than any adventurer's mirth. Regardless, she continues to follow, though each of her steps seems to have developed a light skip. It's reminiscent of herself before the party's encounter with Agdon.
Barreknar watches the Bullywugs with a bit of wonder, for creatures that he suspected would want to be close to water, they build flying machines. Deciding best let Moneo talk their way in, Barreknar trys to not stand out any more then nessiasry and keeps his mouth closed for now.
Moneo pauses a bit, slightly disappointed at their lack of engagement, but shrugs and says, "ok then, thanks! See you later!" He then continues following the earlier directions towards the kings court.
A row of boulders spaced two feet apart breach the surface of the lake to form a walking path across a forty-foot-wide waterway. No checks are required to cross. But I do need the marching order you are going with, for reasons that will become clear. (contrary to the map, the description in the text states there are 5 stepstones, so I assume the others are too small to stand on? Or the graphic designer and the module writer didn't coordinate)
Moneo isn't too worried about threats at the moment, and since he's the one following the directions, he's happy to lead for the time being. Maybe with Barr after him, since they've been together the longest. Eli third. And Fa'ame last (just since they're afk for a bit).
Sounds good. As Moneosteps onto the middle boulder, it wobbles a bit, raises up and a voice speaks, mumbling from the boulder itself. "Well excuse me. Talk about the ingratitude of youth nowadays. No respect at all."
Moneo hops back to the land and says, clearly surprised, "Oh! sorry friend! I mistook you for a stone... or at least a non-conscious stone..."as he looks closer to see with what he's speaking. "We just needed to cross to find the king over that direction."
"Oh? And... what may have happened to this poor things head? And what kind of head does it have now?!" Moneo asks, suspiciously.

"Well when we left it, it had no head. The last place I saw it was in Slack-jaw Lorna's hands. But it could be anywhere now."
