"No, that's not all Delvindra, you're not telling me something."Yasmina says, starting to get angry now. "Remember back at the restaurant I told you I need to be able to trust those who travel with me to that island? Well that goes for you too Delvindra."
The expression of the half-elf turns from anger to worry and she gently leads the tiefling to sit down on a bench with a view of the sea with few people around. "Okay, so you hear voices and they tell you to do things? What kind of things?" She asks empathically, sitting by Delvindra and holding her hand now, still worry in her eyes over what this curse is.
Delvindra looks down, unable to make eye contact. Instead, she examines their intertwined hands. Even this feels like something she's unworthy of so she casts her eyes to the ground as she begins to speak.
"They tell me that the Ilmateri are wrong. That it's okay to be selfish and want things for yourself. They told me things I said before about good and bad..."
"...they really liked it when I burned all of those people."
"Oh...I see..."The worry is still there in the half-elf's voice but she holds on to the tiefling's hand trying to comfort an reassure her. "So, do you feel like you need to do what the voices say then? If they told you to harm me do you think you would do that?" She asks in a sincere and caring tone.
"I know, the Feywild always has this effect the first few times..." Duwamilly smiles at Godrick, while she is picking flowers at the foot of the colossal face, inserting them into her hair "...And next times too!" she laughs "Obviously there are also dangerous fey... but here in this place, at the foot of the Lady of the Forest's head, I have never had any problems".
"Is it me, you know, who calls her 'Lady of the Forest'?" The ex-Preceptor is keen to point out "I actually don't know what her name is... I don't even know if she's a real lady or just a curious formation on the ground! I tried to talk to her many times, but she never answered me. Maybe It's because I speak too fast. They say that plants perceive time more slowly than we do. Maybe I should speak to them very slowly. One word per minute. Or one word per hour. But who could ever do that? I find it difficult to go below one word per second..."
In the meantime, the gnome cleric checks whether Wyvern also came on the trip or not...
Duwamilly shows Godrick (and Wyvern, if she joins too) the incredible variety of flowers, plants and butterflies of the Feywild, also explaining that in the magical realm of the Fairies even magic seems more intense than elsewhere and, to demonstrate this, remembering that Godrick is able to cast Detect Magic, urges him to try to cast it there... and indeed, if the Dragonborn does so, the sensation of perceiving magic, in this intrinsically enchanted realm, is more sweet and rewarding than ever...
Then, before the portal disappears, the ex-Preceptor leads the 'kids' through it again, into her room... and (assuming they follow her back) reality, like a curtain, closes over the transdimensional gap, making it disappear. At least for now.
"It's something we should be able to repeat often, kids..." the gnome cleric smiles at the two dragonborn "Except in those difficult days in which, for example, to save ourselves from an exalted archwizard we are forced to use all the power of the cube. Now, though, maybe we should rest... You heard Charlie before, didn't you? That dear boy found us passage on a ship to the Shaded Isle... That means we're leaving tomorrow! Better be rested - 'life is like a box of chocolates,' I found written on one of Garl Glittergold's sacred texts 'you never know what you're gonna get'. So, better that tomorrow we are ready for anything - and to live it to the fullest!"
"No, they don't control me. They're just...very good at telling me what I want to hear."
She looks up at Yasmina.
"There's a lot more temptations here then there were in the monastery."
As Yasmina and Delvindra continue their chat, Cal is busy collecting his reward money for slaying Jack... it was a close fight, but Cal emerged victorious. Still... it was far too close for comfort, and he knows well that things could have just as easily gone the other way...
Meanwhile, Milly and the dragonborns have just had some fun in the Feywild.
But it's starting to get late. Is there anything else that anyone wants to do before nightfall?

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Cal will use some of his reward to grab gifts for the members of his party, as a thank you and an apology for almost dying without telling them what he was doing.
Nothing important... once Duwamilly returns from the trip to the Feywild with oversized flowers in her hair, she dedicates herself to putting the finishing touches on the Music Box that she wants to give to Charlie as a parting gift, then prays (and imagines exchanging jokes with) her beloved god Garl Glittergold and falls asleep peacefully.
"Temptations huh..."The red-haired half-elf's eyes narrows, but then she lets on a sly grin.
"No, nothing important anyway, and you're right, we should head back to the mansion." Yasmina says, getting up from the bench, briefly glancing out at sea again. "Come, we can walk a bit more along the sea and then head up to the mansion, we should be back well before dinner at least." She says with a small smile, ready to head back to the others.
Once Cal gets his gifts (25 gold worth) he will start to walk back towards the mansion. He can now see how cute and quiet this town is, the smell of day old baked goods being removed, the smiling faces of people enjoying a nice meal in the restaurant. He finally is aware of the cool late after air on his back. Daisy would have loved this place, oh and look there is a little dress shop for Dot. Then as he walk, he begins to hear in the back of his mind the blood curdling screams of fear. He clutches onto the new ring that the high priest granted him for this very moment. The sound quiets but it doesn’t go away completely. Already, I just gave you what you want a few hours ago, please let me be free just for a few days. I will feed you again, I promise!
Cal would have used the rest of his lay hands on himself before coming back with the folks so he wouldn't look too bad but bloody and a large wound on his neck, "I will be fine, just need a bath and a good night rest, thank you for asking." He will turn to the group, "I wanted to apologize about my disappearance, I have gotten each of you a little carved animal I thought you would each enjoy, it is something my baby girl Daisy loved." He goes into his bag and grabs out little animals with his slightly bloody hands and hands one to each member. "May we find a quiet place to talk, just us? I think it is time for you to fully understand what my curse is."
Returning from the city with Yasmina, Delvindra's countenance is as bright and cheerful as her new clothes. Her tail swishes playfully and she practically twirls as she walks. She seems very childlike and free...

Turning the wooden animal over in her hands uncertainly, Delvindra nods her agreement.
"If we're going to continue on together,"she says, casting a glance at Yasmina, "I think we all have some things to say."
As Cal and Delvindra return, Duwamilly is probably in her room (yes, on the Prime Material Plane, not in the Feywild) since she couldn't have known when each would return to the Mansion - and that didn't bother her at all, given her nature in general not inclined to control others (apart from the class during lessons, of course).
If you decide to come and call her, I'll role-play her reaction...
Wyvern will be in her room, maybe with a book from the library and a cup of tea.

Seeing Yasmina's reaction, Delvindra suddenly hears how she must sound. She looks a bit shocked at herself.
"I...I just...it didn't seem right is all," she says as she pulls the Ring of Mind Shielding from her pocket and slips it hurriedly onto her finger.
"No, that's not all Delvindra, you're not telling me something." Yasmina says, starting to get angry now. "Remember back at the restaurant I told you I need to be able to trust those who travel with me to that island? Well that goes for you too Delvindra."
She looks down and fidgets with the ring.
"It's my curse. The ring I got from my mother. I hear voices and have dreams. They...encourage me to do things."

Reluctantly, Delvindra extracts her hand from Yasmina's.
"It's getting late. We should go check on the others. Is there anywhere you'd like to stop on our way back?"

The party re-convenes at Sir Charles's mansion. Cal is badly injured and quite a bit richer, much to the shock of both Charlie and the servants.
"Sir... are... are you alright?" Herbert asks nervously. "Do you require medical attention...?"
You all have one more night before you can speak to the captains and choose one for the job.
What do you do?

I am not a furry, I am a fishie.
I kind of assume that Cal goes around to everyone's rooms since he has gifts for his companions. Is that corrects?
