"I think the side door we used last time. If someone IS waiting for us, they may be expecting us to come in the front door." Holg said as if he had experienced a similar circumstance in the past.
What... No Game of Thrones references? Thank God haha
Jodon hops the wall with Dathyra and Holg. Summoning his courage, he motions for the party to hold for a moment and scurries ahead, keeping low and to the shadows as much as possible. He makes it to the bushes nearest the manor, listening intently for any signs of danger. His heart pounds in his chest as the faintest of voices can be heard near the side door. Creeping a bit closer and peering in the window, Jodon can see two men moving the dead and destroyed undead into the re-purposed kitchen. The men are both humans, outfitted with daggers and leather armor. They are complaining about the trouble they are in for leaving the manor less defended for too long. From further away, more voices can be heard although what they are saying is unclear.
JodonMessages back to Holg, then Dathyra, in sequence Quietly, now. Two armed men, moving new bodies into kitchen. More voices further away. Think a response, and I will hear it.
Dathyra tightened her own armor once more, just to make sure it was secure. Honestly, she never dreamed she would be using half the stuff Father Uridan sent her with. But here she was, about to fight her way through a situation for the second day in a row.
She only gave Jodon a short message. "Very well. If you are certain that we are safer going this way, I trust you."

Jodon tried to put the smirk in his Message back to Dathyra. I'm just trying to make myself quiet and even smaller here. if that's possible. Let's wait for the big man before we talk about moving, or trust. But I might have an idea to help.
If and when my companions do move up, I want to be ready to use Minor Illusion to make three sounds in succession - the sound of kitchen implements rattling on the far side of the kitchen, followed by the angry meow cat of a house at that location, with the meow repeated once at or beyond the doorway, should I believe the men heard something. If I do not believe the men notice them, I do nothing.
Holg grins as he clutches his rapier in his hand. Despite the odds, he had faith in his newfound friend's ability for theatrics. "After you my friend, just give the signal and I'll be ready."
Quietly, then, JodonMessages to each companion in turn. If I sense they hear you, I will make a distraction. If not, we can use that distraction once you arrive. Two in kitchen, and I don't know how many more further away.
Please, Holg,Jodon beseeches through a separate Message, have a better idea than mine when you get here.
Holg remains silent with no response. He begins to focus on his movement more than his plan of attack. He knows that if he is discovered, than any plan will be meaningless.
The trio, non of them truly experts in the art of subterfuge, manage to slip to the side of the building. No loud voices are pitched their direction and all still seems as quiet as it was on the inside. Near the door, the two men can still be heard inside. They are placing bets on what weapon was used to slay someone they refer to as Olfan. How they would ever settle that bet is anyone's guess if they mean one of the men from yesterday's events.
Another chill made Dathyra shiver, but it wasn't the colder winds this time. She knew she wasn't this nervous the first time they were here. Of course, then, they weren't sure if there would be people in the manor or not. Now, they had a clear idea of what sort of danger they could be in. She looked to Jodon and Holg. "What now?" she asked in a hushed whisper.

Jodon Messages to Holg like last time? Ok and begins to creep towards the window.
Jodon, are you moving up to scout alone? If so, can you roll stealth please?

Can I get stealth checks from Dathyra and Holg please?
Hands still shaking, one clutching her amulet tightly, she crouched low and followed Holg over towards the kitchen door.

If the intent is to begin combat right through the side door, I need everyone to roll initiative, please.
Not sure what everyone else wants to do, but I'll roll to be safe.

"No point in tip-toeing around. We know we have to fight to move on. Better to take care of these two while we have the element of surprise."
Holg attempts to open the side door and attack the two men while they have the elemwel of surprise.
Initiative: 6
Slight of hand: 21. In case you need me to be quiet when opening the door to get a surprise round on these men.

(If we can, I'd like to try the cat trick described above to give Holg an edge.)
