Peanut watches in despair as Num falls asleep, though she isn't exactly sure why.. her spell shouldn't have done that? As Jerad steps in front of her to make sure that the swarm of spiders don't get to her, she can't help but smile... but she had to save Num!
Stepping out from behind Jerad, she holds her magic stone close and closes her eyes. This one had to hit, she needed to get that beast off her friend.
She throws the stone, Attack: 12, and if that hits... Dam: 8
A dozen tiny mouths. A dozen tiny mouths adorned with venom-pumping harpoons.
The swarm of spiderlings finish their rush, but instead of going for Peanut, they rush up Jerad's legs when he makes himself readily available. Within seconds, tiny fangs are sinking into his skin. He feels the pinprick pain followed by the rush of poison and begins to feel very woozy...
Clive makes it the rest of the way up to the big spider, aiming to bring his fury on it like the little ones before it. In his carefulness to avoid Num, he stabs the empty air between the spiders legs with his shortsword (8to hit), however he uses the momentum of the miss to bring his back legs up and kick hard as he moves into a forward roll (22 to hit,5 bludgeoning damage)
Any remaining movement (if any) he spends moving away from the spider.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kintla takes another deep breath and fires another arrow at the big spider.
Longbow: 18 to-hit, 10 damage.

Theodore looks stunned as Num suddenly falls unconscious. No no no! He had meant for the spider to fall asleep! On top of this Jared is getting eaten alive! Not knowing what else to do, Theodore will cast create bonfire on the spider, though he tries to exclude Num from the 5ft cube.
Jerad shivers, feeling weak... why are these spiders so... uncooperative? Staggering forward, he tries to grab the little creatures and toss them towards the larger one.
Kintla's arrow bounces off the big spider's carapace without doing any damage, but the bonfire is a different story. It backs up, rearing as it tries to get its body off of the flames, creating some distance between itself and Num.
Jerad suddenly pulls at the swarm of tiny arachnids swarming his body, and is easily able to jerk them away before throwing them at the bigger spider, which was retreating. The swarm of spiderlings fell then into the bonfire, some dying, the rest of them dispersing into the cavern and skittering away to safety, no longer posing a threat to the party.
The big spider continues to move toward the back of the cavern, unsure if it should charge forward and attack Num again...but it doesn't look like it's going to take long for it to make up its hungry mind...
Giving a quick glance to Jerod, seeing that he wasn't doing so well, but good enough to throw those little spiders, she rushes towards Num and shakes him, trying to wake him up. "Num? Please Num? Please wake up!"
Kintla lowers her weapon... It looks like they managed to scare the big spider off, and that's good. She doesn't want to fight anyone or anything, even knocking them out would be her last resort... but she also just witnessed one of her teammates trying to eat the spider hatchling... actually, no, some of the spiders did die, and she didn't do anything to stop them from getting killed.
Wolf spiders help the ecosystem thrive, they eat other bugs that might eat or spread disease to crops, and they've just eliminated two of them. These spiders can always make more babies... but this isn't right—just because they look scary, that doesn't mean they aren't animals like her.
"Go... go now... and don't come back." She says she usually sounds energetic and playful, but her voice is shaky and sad this time.
She fires one last warning shot at the spider, intentionally missing her, hopefully this will scare her off.

Though still in shock from his earlier mistake, Theodore notes the spider's reaction to the fire. The young rat doesn't particularly want to make more flames, so instead he waves a paw and several dancing lights appear between the party and the spider. It's scared of fire, so maybe light will drive it back too. Without waiting to see, he tries to rush over to Num. If he is able to get over there, he starts shaking the larger rat. "Please wake up. Please wake up!"
Jerad is panting hard as he watches events unfold. It looks like the spiders are retreating... but then there is one that might not...
He takes a shaky step forward, intending to go help Num, but seeing how Theodore and Peanut are both over there, he decides that his aid would probably be unhelpful. So, instead he pulls the shield from his back and clacks his spear against it in attempt to help frighten off the spiders with the loud noise.
Nun’s eyes blink open then closed. For a moment he looks like he might doze back off but then the fact he’s being shaken by multiple hands brings everything back to him.
He leaps up to his feet, looks around for the big spider, runs towards it and then hurls one of his axes at it.
(Movement - Standing Up, then 15’; Action - Hand Axe (19+4)= 23 to hit for (2+3)=5 slashing damage - and reduces spider’s speed by 10’ due to Slasher feat).
The axe clips the spider's face, spilling blood in the process. The spider, still undecided what the best course of action was, now made up its mind. As the hurled axe clattered against the ground, the spider backed up, disappearing into the tunnel at the far end of the room.
Things fell quiet, leaving the party in the web covered cavern alone. All the spiders were suddenly gone...
Clive takes a few seconds to get his breath back, before scurrying around and making sure everyone is okay. "I would suggest we don't stay in this cavern. They might return. Do we want to try a different tunnel or do you think this tunnel still emerges in the coop?"
Theodore taps his paws together in nervous embarrassment. "Sure, though I think I'm the reason you fell asleep in the first place. So...I'm sorry for that. I was trying to put the spider to sleep."
As Num walks down the tunnel, Theodore directs the dancing lights in front of the larger rat. Hoping to keep anything else up ahead from attacking them. As they walk he also looks with concern at Jared, when Peanut speaks to him.
Kintla follows the rest of the group, being at the very back. Unlike before, though, she seems to be quieter than usual... and she looks like she's on the verge of tears too.
"Poor spiders..." She musters to herself.

Jerad blinks, taking a moment to register that Peanut is talking to him, "Oh... um... I..." he was going to say that he is alright, but that would be a huge lie. So instead he says, "I'll be fine after a good rest... I just hope we don't run into any other... violent creatures." He looks back in the direction the spiders ran, leaning heavily on his spear before putting his shield away. He looks absolutely awful, but is trying not to show it too much as they follow Num into the coop.

Num collects his axe, looking to where the big spider ran off to.
"Don't know what happened there," Num says. "One moment I'm ready to go and the next I'm waking up on the ground. Never happened before."
He pats himself all over, then smiles, satisfied that he's uninjured.
Num then waves over at Peanut and Theodore. "Thanks for waking me up."
After Clive's question, Num looks around for a moment then nods.
"Yep, this tunnel takes us to the coop."
He looks at the webbing from the egg sac, a little disappointed that it only had spiders and not eggs. That would have been a good snack.
He adjusts his pack, makes sure his great axe is secure, and again, with a hand axe in each paw, he starts for the tunnel to the coop again.
Peanut smiles as her friend just keeps on keeping on. She turns to Jerad, "Are you alright? Those spiders sure were all over you."
Theodore taps his paws together in nervous embarrassment. "Sure, though I think I'm the reason you fell asleep in the first place. So...I'm sorry for that. I was trying to put the spider to sleep."
