"They're places of such radiant beauty that even attempting to describe them does them a disservice. My home is often described as a paradise of kindness, compassion, and tranquility, while Mount Celestia and Arborea are planes of justice and passionate heroism, respectively. Celestia is the nexus of order and power for angels, while Arborea is a place of celebration where life is revered as the greatest of gifts. And they all have a strong, warm glow as well. Ava is smiling brightly by the end of her description.
Ospos smirks and begins making up some lyrics, "Bram all alone up in a tree, s-i-n-g-i-n-g. Ava with your skin so bright, won't you guide my way tonight... "
Once again proving to be rather the opposite of a morning person, Nean crawls out of the magical shelter and joins Bram with the breakfast. Surprisingly, he's got a big smile on his face today. "Funny how the dark places can sometimes force you to feel funny. May I ask you something as well, Ava? I know this might sound a little odd and i am not at all trying to offend you in any way, but is there anything you might call a stereotype of your people when it comes to other planes? I mean if i look back, pretty much noone I've met so far had any knowledge of this whole Bounders 'n Planes thing, let alone traveling from one to another. I wonder if the stupid stuff people make up to devalue other races also exist. Take for example dwarfs and the pointy-eared folk." Nean nods to Liafal. "Their kinds have been trash-talking each other for millenia. Do you also call the shadowfelows 'sun-deprived grumpytungs'?" He chuckles at the mere thought of it, apparantly because he's genuinely enjoying himself, rather than laughing at his own jokes.
"I....had never really thought about that, now that you mention it. I am aware of the prejudices many races hold against others that they have had past conflicts with, but I cannot think of any held by the people of my home. Apart from the perpetually ill-tempered individuals who are rude to most they come across, my people strive to treat others with compassion and understanding, seeing the value of their lives and experiences and regarding them with the dignity that they deserve. I suppose that any stereotypes that would have come of this would be that my people are push-overs. This is rarely the case, however." Ava gives a sly smirk.
Bramponders some more, about Ava's response, before asking,
"What about evil creatures? I believe the highest ranking summoners from the Conclave back in Solacus, could summon devils and demons."
"I was told that these creatures were very dangerous, because they were inherently evil. If they weren't correctly contained, they would start killing people immediately."
"Yeah got to say not a fan of the ever present and all in compassing darkness that pervades this world."
"Hmm, hold on a second."
Bramstands and casts Silent Image to create a 15ft x 15ft x 15ft cube around the group, that has beautiful images of forests and grassy plains and blue sky on the inside surfaces and black on the outside.
"While we eat, we can at least enjoy some nice imagery."
Bramsits back down to finish his breakfast.
(The cube will fade away in 10 minutes if we don't leave before that.)
"I believe that we would dispatch the creature as quickly as possible, before they had the chance to cause destruction. We do not hate this creature for its nature, as its very existence is a natural expression of "Life" as a unified entity. It is this fact that is integral to our understandings of compassion and kindness. We would not destroy the creature in hate, but in compassion, as its displacement into an area where it would cause damage and death could be seen as an imbalance, and returning the demon to its rightful plane would restore this balance. These understandings are also deeply important in comprehending the nature of my person-hood as well."
Regarding the forest and blue sky that were just conjured; "And thank you for this Bram, its a welcome change." Ava smiles warmly.
"I'd say that's quite an astute observation, sir. Everything is more than it may appear to be on the surface, for how could one truly bask in the warmth of the sun without ever having felt the cold embrace of moonlight? One is not inferior to the other, they are simply different."
Ava becomes so engrossed in what she's saying that the rest of her speech becomes Celestial without her realizing
Listening to Avas passionate explanation adds a certain warmth to Neans expression. "Thank you Ava, compared to what i've experienced so far, that is indeed a refreshing perception." He joins the others for the last few bites, before he does a little stretching and once again gazes over their surroundings. "What do you say, shall we get going?"
Ospos grumbles at not having time to eat properly. He packs the tiny hut stone in the haversack and shoulders it. Then he looks to the others, "I'm not tracking on an empty stomach. I won't be able to concentrate! But I can help." (roll with advantage if we have to do another survival check to track)
With Xandar flying above the obscuring rocks, it's not too hard to find your way back to the trail. It continues on through a narrow crevasse, you can see ahead there are crude steps and handholds in places where travelers have been forced to manuever around long fallen boulders. Above you on both sides the tips of the ridge stab like daggers into the sky, and a chill breeze begins to whistle through as you all begin to resume your journey.
I'd like a marching order as you all proceed. Feel free to discuss and figure out who wants to be where in the OOC thread, or you can do it here IC.
Someone can also give me a tracking survival check (with advantage from Ospos) if they want to, but it's not necessary if y'all are just following the path.
Whoever is first once y'all get moving needs to give me a perception check, as does whoever is last, keeping watch behind y'all.
Just assuming Xandar will be flying and keeping an ear out above, I'll need a perception check from him as well.
And finally, tell me how y'all are moving. Stealthily? Quickly? With torches or magic lights? Again, feel free to strategize in OOC for brevity if you'd like.
Ava chuckles lightly

Bram laughs at Ospos, clapping at his antics.
"Nice!"
At Nean's question to Ava, Bram raises one eyebrow, giving a pondering look at Nean, before looking to see how Ava will respond.

Ospos, still looking hungry, is startled and says, "What? I've barely had enough for breakfast!"
Bram eye's Ospos with a smile and a side glance,
"You fit a lot of food in such a small body."
"Perhaps you could eat some more as we travel?"
Bram finishes his food and packs up his bedding and equipment.
Looking to Ospos,
"Don't forget to collect the tiny hut before we move out."
Moving outside the dome and with the help of Xandar, Bram attempts to find the start of the trail, the group has been following.
