Stasyn shakes his head "You can save your sentimentality when we are not stuck in a plague infested zone. I will take care of the corpse" he takes out his grappling hook and ties it to the end of his rope and in a similar fashion of the Morbid Doctores he hooks it into the dog's carcass and drags it down the stairs and out of the tavern.
Stasyn has no problem hooking the corpse and dragging it out of the tavern. A few wisps of smoke still rise from the corpse when he begins hauling it away. soon all that remains is a scorched section of wooden flooring and a long black streak along the floor that follows the verdan outside.
While waiting for Kitaer to purchase the meat, Nesyax had cast Animal Friendship on the little snake. She speaks to it (even though neither she nor the snake are able to understand each other) to let it know that she had moved into the area. Once the group is ready to move on to visit Sara she tells it goodbye and follows the rest.
Inside the Wet Weasel, Nesyax follows in after the others, even Stasyn. She watches impassively as he chars the animal after Kitaer had knocked it out. Or killed it, she wasn't sure. As the Verdan is dragging the corpse out, she comments. "I do wonder at the wisdom of making the closest neighbor to our HQ a haven for the infected." She then shrugs, "Guess though if we are able to treat them at all it makes it convenient."
"If you have a problem with sentimentality I suggest you just view it as good business to build goodwill and a good reputation with the locals." The young white-haired noble says to the Verdan with a polite smile. "That would include helping the sick to some kind of refuge at the Wet Weasel I think, better than having them trying to storm our HQ at least." He adds to Nesyax.
Daryos then turns to the door. "Would you want us to take care of Tulip?" He asks the girl, although the Verdan is already towing the charred remains of the rabid mutt downstairs. "Also, do you need anything before we move on? Otherwise we will check in on you tomorrow again."
Outside a few minutes earlier... The small snake would slither into the bard's hands after she casts her spell before seemingly licking her with its tiny forked tongue. After a few nuzzles from its tiny snout, it slithers away into the crops.
Inside the Wet Weasel... There is quiet after Daryos asks his question before a small "Yes... please take care of Tulip. I... i don't think I have the strength to do it." She says through the closed door. You hear slightly labored breathing inside... and after a few seconds she continues. "I.. could use some water... And... probably some food." Her voice sounds dry and raspy as she struggles to speak. "I'm... really cold too.... and I don't have any clean cloth to change my bandages either..." she continues... "But... otherwise... I'm doing... just great." You hear a small labored laugh after she finishes speaking, and you can hear the sound of her positioning herself on the bed inside the room.
OOC: So she unlocked the door earlier, are any of you opening the door or just continuing to talk to her through the door?
"People may have taken the nearby rooms. I did leave the keys out. Besides, I think we may have taken most of the salvageable bedding," Kitaer suggests. "But the rooms with broken doors... The dirty and disgusting bedding. You have that spell that cleans things, yes?" Assuming this seems reasonable then Kitaer would go and find some of the least disgusting of the bad sheets and such and bring them out to see if Daryos can do anything about them.
"I have some vegetables I could leave her. Less for the stew but something to fill her belly now..."
opening the door you see Sara curled up on the bed. she is shivering rapidly and her eyes appear more sunken in than the day before. it is obvious that she is in worse shape than yesterday as she lays trembling helplessly in the dark room. The cloth she had wrapped around much of her face is discolored from the many weeping lesions that lay underneath. her dark hair sticks to the few patches of visible skin on her forehead and around her eyes. you can see that she had attempted to wrap her hands with cloth as well, and the weeping lesions had soaked through those as well.
ooc: feel free to make medicine checks on her if you are trying to treat her or determine ways to help
Having no medicinal knowledge and having just recently assisted in if not outright killed her dog, Kitaer stays on his side of the threshhold and does not approach Sara.
Glancing at Sara from behind most of the others, Nesyax says softly, "She really doesn't look good." It was quiet, but probably not quiet enough to not be heard. "We should probably not stick around this place for too long," she adds.

The young white-haired noble steps inside the room, giving the girl on the bed a comforting and reassuring smile. "We'll see what we can do about you being cold in a moment, but I think we can get you some food and water at least." He says, taking up a ration of dried fruit and meat from his backpack, also looking for somthing in the room to pour some of the water in his waterskin into.
Stasyn will remove the grappling hook from the carcass and uses prestidigitation to clean it thoroughly. Perhaps Tulip's bones can be used as a lure for the Bone Collector minions. He will wait outside as the others handle Sara.

Vesna peeks inside the room and her heart fills with sorrow as soon as her amber eyes find the girl. Looks much worse than last night. While their leader is looking around for something, Vesna tries to discern more about Sara's condition at the moment (Medicine check as well: 8 with guidance 2).
The cleric then reaches to fetch some dried meat and fruit from her bag and passes it to Daryos, so he can leave them in a suitable place.

Both Vesna and Daryos study the young girl as they attempt to help and provide fresh food and water. It isn't difficult to determine that she probably only has a couple days left without some kind of outside help. she is becoming weaker which is resulting in her having a harder time caring for herself.
Daryos realizes that he can use his spells to clean her bandages and wounds the same way he cleaned the blood from Kitaer's horn. he can also tell that between all the weeping wounds and her high fever that she is quite dehydrated.
Vesna is can tell that while she cannot remove the sickness completely, any kind of healing magic would help to close the countless lesions that are covering her body. Closing up the lesions would help to prevent a secondary infection and could also help prevent dehydration and blood loss.
kitaer is able to collect some cloth from the ruined beds, but finds that all the rooms have been taken by those in need after announcing that he was leaving out the keys.

After her observation of the sick girl, Vesna will nod to Daryos, hoping he would try to keep Sara distracted for a bit, while the cleric focuses on attempting to extend some healing energy as she whispers the spell.
"Just lay still now Sara and I'll clean your bandages and wounds for you." Daryos says calmly and gently, moving closer to the girl on the bed to use his sorcerous magic to do just that, giving the girl a warm and reassuring smile as he does. "We will come by you tomorrow again Sara, and if we find anything even resembling a cure we will of course come immediately."
The young white-haired noble then fills something available like a mug with water from his waterskin and lets the mug magically float over to the girl together with some rations from himself and Vesna. "Stay here now and we'll se you tomorrow again, if not sooner." Daryos says with a reassuring smile, then ready to leave for the tavern.
If we've done what we can done, Kitaer is ready to hightail it out of the Weasel. If all the rooms are being used he could see the group being stuck here for hours helping everyone that needs it. Best to go before they all come out begging. It 's not that he doesn't sympathize but that he does... It would be too hard to refuse them.
Sara quickly reaches for the provided water and drinks it down almost instantly. Her eyes light up when she moves to wipe the water from her face and realizes that the bloody and crusty bandages on her hands looked cleaner than when she had applied them... smiling to Daryos, she then looked to Vesna just as she finishes whispering her spell.
Vesna manages to cast the spell without her noticing but she immediately feels a large difference. "what did you two do? was... was that normal water you gave me to drink? Are you two magic?" She asks as she unwraps one of her hands... where there had been large lesions, there were now fresh scars... in fact, all across the girls body the existing lesions had closed up.... leaving behind fresh pink scars.
Vesna, you are surprised to see scars remaining behind after the lesions close up. normally mundane cuts and wounds knit themselves shut and leave no evidence of any harm after you apply your healing magic. You are fairly certain that the weeping pox is indeed both magical and powerful...
Her fever persists but she is in much better shape than she was only minute before. You get the feeling that if you can continue helping her in this way, there is a small chance that you can help her to survive this infection...
"Well, magic, in a sense, but we would appreciate it if you kept that to yourself for now as we fear the Morbus Doctore might take issue with us interfering with the spreading of this plague." The young white-haired noble says with a compassionate smile. As soon as Vesna too has said her goodbye to the girl he would close the door behind them as they leave and signal to Kitaer to lead the way to the tavern to continue with their investigation.
