Thurdor turns to the Dragon and speaks Draconic

Reply in draconic:

"What did it say? I get the feeling it's not malicious, just playful."

The faerie dragon adds one more comment in draconic:

“The kobolds sent it to test us,” Jakus murmurs to Cunning. “And it says that it can take us to Twilight Waters, where we can learn ‘more’.” In Draconic he addresses the dragon, “What is your name, good dragon? And what were the kobolds intentions with testing us?”

 Titus's eyebrows went up as the yellow dragon produced three cups of liquid. Then,

which lead to the fighter eventually just rubbing his beard as he looked back and forth between Cunning, Thurdor, Jakus and the dragon.

"Didn't know draconic was that popular," he thought, wishing--and not for the first time--that he had a gift for languages.

Titus decided he would just keep his ears open and wait for some sort of agreement or conclusion to be reached.

Jakus freezes at Liaka’s words. In Draconic he quietly says to Thrudor, “Let’s tell the others later. Where there are less prying ears. Liaka, it seems like we mat be going with you.” To the rest of the group, Jakus says, “We should go with Liaka. That’s the faerie dragon’s name.”

A look of slight surprise, with a hint of amusement, crossed the fighter's face.

"To this 'Twilight Waters?' Is it going to delay our mission?"

After a little contemplation Cunning decides to play safe and take the gold. He leaves a couple of gold behind to pay for the dagger.

“If I’m right,” Jakus says, winking at Titus, “this is only our next stop. Though we should see the king of Adenguard first to obtain his permission.” Softer, he whispers “We must see the waters that haven’t frozen over.” Jakus thanks the guard, and leaves the room.

Thrudor looks at the others "Take the gold and let us leave...if there was something you wanted, Thrudor is happy to help you with your .....your...you buying your want. Seems we travel back to Adenguard now"

Before the party leaves the city, Jakus says to them, “While we’re here, I need to do some personal business. It shouldn’t take long.”

"In that case, now that I actually have some coin, I'll procure a few things as well. I'll meet you all back here." With that, Titus headed towards the nearest stables.

Titus is going to try to make some specific purchases:

- Draft Horse, Wagon, Pack Saddle, Saddlebags, Bit & Bridle, and 20 days of feed, for 97gp total.

If successful, he'll rejoin the party seated atop the wagon.

Titus can make the purchase. The horse is well-rested and fed and ready to travel.

Jakus:

"Everyone, meet Barnabas!" The fighter reached down to pat the horse's flank. "He'll be carrying any heavy loads we may encounter."

He then thumbed behind him. "Feel free to toss any extra equipment into the wagon. And there's space enough for another person up front here. Two, if one of you wants to drive the wagon for me. In fact, since we don't have a real load yet, the rest of us could all sit in back, and Barney wouldn't break a sweat.

"Whenever everyone's ready to go, that is."

Cunning appears wearing scale mail "Thanks for the offer, but I'll walk for a while to get used to wearing this. It's probably going to make me less stealthy, but let's be honest stealth isn't really my thing."

"Also as your acquisitions are aiding the group, I insist upon making a contribution. How much would that be?"

Jakus returns, looking a little disappointed. He perks up when he sees Barnabus, and Titus sitting on top of him. “I’ve never been good with horses,” Jakus says while he gets into the back of the cart. “Dangerous at both ends, and crafty in the middle.”
