Cunning looks around for the cause of the vision but none of the palace staff seems to be affected. Shaking himself he grabs an armful of furs. He probably won't need them but who knows.

Outside he stows the bundle on the cart. "Well, I don't know what that was about, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough."

A couple of soldiers walk up to you. "The king forgot to mention this, but you should probably stop at... You know what? I'll update that map a bit. What cities are in the North... Oh, yeah."

(By the way, every time I update the map you can see the updated version in post 1 for convienience.) 

Jakus freezes when he hears the voice howl in his ears. “So you experienced it too…seems like we are the only ones,” he comments to Cunning as he sees people around go about normally, like it never happened. “Did you hear and see that Liaka?” Jakus asks in Draconic.

Thrudor looks up from loading the cart "What's that? Who wants me to go where now? Speak up"

"When you go north, go to the towns in the north. Go to Veysha first, its almost exactly north of here."

As the vision faded, Titus looked over at the others. Catching the look in their eyes--and the apparently non-response of everyone else--confirmed it.

"Someone's playing with us," he growled. "I don't like that." He shook his head as he stepped over to help Thrudor load the wagon. He remained silent as he did, but it was fairly clear he was still rather perturbed at the mental intrusion.

PalmTree219 hasn't posted anything anywhere since January 14th and the profile says last active on February 6th, so it's probably safe to move on. TheSecondLoreMaker rarely ever posted and has been gone since January 12th, and I don't think he's ever coming back. I'd say we keep moving forward and see if PalmTree219 comes back, but just keep playing with those that are here for now.

"Time for us to depart, let's go"

“Let’s get going then.”

Thrudor hops on the cart and whispers in a loud hushed tone. "You all heard that too right? Old Thrudor isn't losing his hearing is he?"

“Sure did,” Jakus says as they start to travel. “And saw it too. I don’t know it’s a plea or if it’s a trap. But whatever it was seems to be very powerful, since we’re the only ones who were affected by it.”

You begin traveling north as a soft wind blows frost towards your face. A giant owl emerges from the distance with something riding on its back, swoops above the party and circles them a few times before flying away.

Titus stared at the owl as it flew off. "Pretty dang odd," he commented, before continuing to drive the wagon.

“Should we hide? Run? Shoot it down?” Jakus whispers. “What is that thing?”

 Thrudor looks at the other two with a hint of concern "It is definietly a giant snowy owl which is not a problem other than it has a rider. The owl detected us and will probably notify whoever it works for with the rider on its back. Someone will know we are traveling in these parts...."

You walk all day with nothing else too remarkable happening. You arrive at Veysha not too late in the day. The gates are closed and there is a hooded figure standing outside.
