Karra joins the others in the second carriage, his sights not leaving watching Ominak and the first carriage until he is inside. He climbs up onto a seat, placing his pack down and crossing his arms.
Hatt looks down at the ground. After that boat ride, I would have quite happily spent the next week without my feet leaving the Goddess' own earth, he says in part to himself, in part to the others, then turns his gaze back onto Ominak's carriage. Nicely made vehicle. The basic construction looks solid - you can tell by how it moves over rough ground. I have a cousin who made carriages. Not fine ones like these, of course - he runs his hand along the side and admires the quality of the finish - but I helped him out a fair few times. That was back home, before Cresthall of course.
Ok. So, as much as I love my relationship with Ashley, and all the amazing backstory and banter with you guys, this adventure is just dragging on way too much. I feel like it's going way too slow and i'm not invested anymore. Am I the only one feeling this way? You don't have to answer that, but i'm probably going to quit. I just don't want to be in a game that updates every 2 to 4 days with 2 to 3 sentences. I know we got a life and stuff, I get it. But my point is this is just dragging on way to long.
The carriage slows down as the Ominak's carriage comes to a stop. Outside you see a spanning palace, it's waterflows, exotic plants, and various statues make you forget that this is a desert. The shade covers you from the heat as you exit the carriage. Sargt jumps off and goes after his brother who is already making way for the palace courtyard. They both stop near the water fountain to wait for you all. Ominak seems a bit annoyed but Sargt is all too happy.
Gasp exits the carriage, feathers ruffled and brow furrowed. He has a lot racing through his mind, and none of it too pleasant. Definitely not the type of thing to bear repeating....even if he could. The lush greenery and opulence of the palace oasis is lost and wasted on Gasp for now even as he stands near the lovely fountain. He just stands there, arms crossed as he huffs. A dark, feathery mark in this desert paradise.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hatt also clambers down, eyes focused on Gasp and presumably Bennett also. He's worried about what might have happened to them, and is suspicious that there's some sort of magic at work - would he have noticed Gasp's perturbation? Insight: 10. Well, this is nice, he says to no-one in particular.
Bennett steps out of the carriage with just his normal face expression. Although he seems a bit... upset if you watch his body movements carefully. He will stand next to Ashley and Gasp and take in the sight, "This place is... it's beautiful!"
Ominak gives a short bow, "I'll be back shortly with your gold. For now, my brother will take care of you all." Sargt pounds his chest, "I'll keep them happy brother." Ominak walks off to a tall tower. "Well now, would you all like to head for the spas or just relax in a guest room? I'm here to make you all feel welcomed to Savasst!"
Sargt laughs and gestures you all to follow him, "I am not much for their massages and the like, but I do enjoy the bath." Sargt leads you off to a large high ceiling room. As you enter, you see various yuan-ti and dragonborns wearing togas and relaxing in pillows by fires. The few people that aren't lounging are tending to them, by feeding them grapes and fanning them. Further in you see two doorways. Each one having a word above it but none of you can read it. Sargt lingers at the entrance, "The attendants shall help you all unwind. In the meantime, I think I'll take a visit to the sparring grounds to train more. I'd love to spar with any of you if you wish to follow but I understand that you'd be weary from your travels. I'll leave you to have your own time."
That's very kind of you thank you for your help hope to see you again bye for now says Hatt to Sargt without any pause, and he almost sprints over to speak to one of the attendants. Excuse me, good sir. Do you happen to have a private room, perhaps a bath or sauna, somewhere my newly-arrived friends and I could relax and talk without being disturbed. We've just come from the docks, and Mr. Sargt, he points at the (hopefully departing) dragonborn, suggested we take some time here to recover from our journey.

Crispy does the same and hops on, her gaze looking at her friends, to the cart, and back again.

OOC: I have to agree that it is going a little slow. I think it still deserves a chance though. I'm enjoying myself.

Ashley exits the carriage and stands near Gasp. She doesn't look at all as perturbed as the bird man.

If Ashley is standing nearby, she could probably hear him making flustered bird sounds as well.
Crispy also exits, a weary look on her face mixed with plenty of annoyance.

Edit: @DM Any chance of advantage? 16 if so.

"SPA!" Crispy blurts.
Bennett nods in agreement, "I think we all deserve a spa day with the voyage we had."

Gasp, as upset as he seems to be, also gives a nod. "SPA!" he half-heartedly mimics Crispy
The spa sounds wonderful Ashley is ready to relax at the spa.

Crispy nearly collapsed rigth there. "Finally.." she said, exhausted.
