Conner still looks very confused, "I'm...flattered that the advisor would think so but I don't see how I can help with anything magic related. Hells, the only curse I know of is my sibling and there's no cure for that."
@Tower
Sargt dips his head, "Thank you, though I doubt my brother would do anything illegal it is good to have assurance that you'll look out for him, in case he tries to burden it all on himself and your group."
@Office
"Hmm, that is suspicious but it is also highly unlikely. That job would be the one your triton friend said they'd do before helping both Myra and me to Savasst. That'd mean those cultists would have been here before us...And that'd make it stranger. Why not steal it when the I'm not around...Let us leave it for now, we don't have any solid leads on the culprit for now anyway. I wish you luck with Lord Niyra, he's a strict man with his beliefs but is reasonable when dealing with his duties. Remember, just ask them if there was anything strange the last time they went to see Myra."
Tell me about your sibling Sir Conner, please? Any information you can give is more than we had before. Ashley asks, encouraging Sir Conner to speak freely.

Conner gives a weak smile, "I'm sorry, I mean that as a joke. My brother is just young and rebellious, he's in no way afflicted by magic. I'm just saying family is something you can't get rid of, even if he drives me mad, I still love him."
@Tower
Sargt nods, "First that comes to mind is the princess, unless you're talking about a commoner. And the second...good kid, sorry he had to leave. Did great on his missions and had a knack for slipping out of bad situations."
"Fair enough, Opsola. Good luck with the investigation and thank you for the rings. We will get you as much information as we can before we head back to Cresthall." He bows slightly and looks at Myra, "Farewell." He smiles and leaves and heads outside.
Sargt nods, "First that comes to mind is the princess, unless you're talking about a commoner. And the second...good kid, sorry he had to leave. Did great on his missions and had a knack for slipping out of bad situations."
Princess? You know, now that I think about it, I don't really know anything about the royal family here. Is there a princess named Myra? And Jarrick, he left? What did he leave? We saw him only yesterday...
"I can tell you about them, if you'd like. And no, I mean how he had to leave the guard due to misconduct against a noble. Although forced into early retirement, he's still very alive, never kept up with him though."
"I can tell you about them, if you'd like. And no, I mean how he had to leave the guard due to misconduct against a noble. Although forced into early retirement, he's still very alive, never kept up with him though."
I would like to hear very much about the royal family, yes. I suppose they are central to your job, no? And I'd like to hear about Jarrick too, but only things that are a matter of public record, I'm not asking for anything private. The poor fellow seemed most unhappy when we spoke to him - he spoke of a young woman being kidnapped. Perhaps he has reported that to the authorities as well?
"Well, there's queen Tyvana; Lord Nada, the queen's consort, then the three princesses; Eldest, Juno; Middle, Myra, and the youngest, Shyna. There are men in the royal family but they have no claim to the throne. I mostly meet with Juno to help her and Shyna to make sure she stays in the royal quarters. Myra is an exception as she is dedicated to serving the church. And I don't think Jarrick will really trust the guard after we were forced to retire him. And a woman was kidnapped? Is he in some sorta trouble?"

Myra is serving the church, you say? Is that here in the city? Does she not live in the royal palace?
Jarrick is not in any kind of trouble that I know of. He was concerned that a woman named Myra had been kidnapped and that no-one was willing to aid him in finding her. I suppose many people must name their children after the princess, so I've no idea who the kidnapped woman is. Sadly, Jarrick was very agitated when we spoke, and wasn't able to explain himself more clearly. I am worried for him; would you mind keeping an eye out in case he turns up? I suppose he had friends in the guard, and I think he's in need of a friend to talk to.
Oh dear Goddess, thinks Hatt; this cursed woman is a princess? However did she find her way to Cresthall? And no-one knows she was missing?
(Reminder, Lord Niyra will be at the docks. The task is to find out what if they saw anything suspicious during their last time they saw Myra. Same with Conner.)
"Yea, it's tradition, the first inherits the throne, while the second is to help relations between the nobles and the church. And yes, it's the cathedral of Ilmater. She does live in the royal palace but is currently out on a pilgrimage...If I didn't know any better, I'd say you'd be trying to court her." Sargt gives a slight laugh as he pats Hatt's shoulder, "And for Jarrick, I can ask around in the barracks and see if anyone knows where he lives at the moment. And see if his old squadmates are in, have them go check on him if they are."

Hatt smiles and pats Sargt's hand. Court? I hardly think so. An opportunity for a theological discussion is always welcome, though. Well, I shall pray for the safe return of the princess Myra (he says this as Bennett returns from visiting Opsola) from her pilgrimage soon. It has been most kind of you to take this time to speak with me. In case I have anything more to ask, or to tell you, should I simply ask for you at the palace?
"She's...the second princess, I'm sorry, but who are you people? I don't know anything about curses and I don't see how my brother or the priestess is connected to such things. And why bother seeking me out?"
@Tower
"Just a joke, can't really court her since she's part of the church and of royal blood. And I don't spend much time at the palace, ask one of my men and they should know. Most of the time I'll either be at the Arena or the barracks."
Crispy was mumbling something about Bennett and birds when she remembered what she was there for.
"Hells, i'm a shitty investigator." She said under her breath. Then louder, "We're under the impression that you and your brother were one of the few people to last see Myra. Do you remember seeing..anything strange, or suspicious about her behavior during your last visit with her. And for ****s sake, please say yes."
Good to know, says Hatt, smiling at Sargt with genuine warmth. He's friendly, open and takes time to answer a stranger's questions. Many who hold such high office might become arrogant; Hatt thinks back to one or two such people he had dealt with on the road. It's good to remember that some people can rise above that.
Hello there. Hatt greets Bennett. Is Gasp with you? How are you... err.. feeling? He looks down, trying to spot the ring on Bennett's hand.
